After looking at their website, I had the imagination that this was next to the sea. Well, should have looked at the map as well!
We stayed in a Deluxe room, and was suprised that it was on the ground floor, with no view. Would have thought the better rooms would have the better view
The room had the tiniest balcony I have ever seen, with a tiny patch of garden in front of it , then a fence and then the road. Unfortunately in the morning the Garbage bins were taken out an placed next to the entrance, which made the mornings at the dwarf balcony not very pleasant - no "de luxe" feeling
However sleep quality was good, really comfortable bed. The bathroom is okay, however I would have preferred to have a glass door instead of shower curtain. Inevitably these become musty, and so were the one at our room
We liked very much the food at the restaurant, very tasty. However put on your cardigan before you go there, they run the A/C to nearly freezing temperatures. We were not too impressed about the breakfast - that is the only meal where we crave some western food, and the selection was a bit on the poor side
Also enjoyed drinks and snacks at the roof top lounge, including chilled Indian wine. Funny enough at one occasion they had no Indian beer..... You can also dine at the roof top, as they put up a bbq in the evening
It is a bit away from town, jetty and sights,. so you will need transport to get around. The hills back home to Marine Hills where the hotel is located are steep.....
Free wifi in the lobby area, however a bit troublesome procedure to get a logon name and password, and also quite often "weak signal" = no connection
In general, a good impression, despite some faults
