Satyed for 4 nights in two different rooms. 1st floor rooms are getting renovated & the 2nd floor rooms are ok. Its not luxurious but specious & clean.

Room service speed is reasonable though the staff are not in uniform.

The resturant serves largely two culinary specialities based on East & south aprt from standard Chinese & continental.

They take time to prepare the order & serve you fresh unlike many other resturants who mix up all pre prepared grevy for any platter you order.

Fish & prown are good & price is quite ok.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms on 2nd floor & above. Have rated good rooms based on the value for money concept.

I stayed in Hotel Silver spring for 1 night, and i really liked it...spacious room, good staff...yes the bathroom was small..but its ok...we don't have to sleep there.... i am a travel agent and i have sent so many clients but never got any complaints...yes the reviews depends and how the client has an expectation and how he is informed about the hotel details....if someone is having issue with a hotel like Silver spring, then such client should never visit to neil island...as it has very basic hotels....

Room Tip: 1st floor room where i stayed was good....

Our family decided to go for a trip to port Blair. We were little bit confused about the hotel where should choose. Finally one of my friends who stayed at Silver Spring recently suggests me to stay at Silver Spring. Our 6 day Sojourn was taken from Antilog Vacations ,an Andaman based tour opertor known for its rates and customisation

The trip was perfectly planned & met our expectations. Hotel is a paradise place on earth. Hotel Silver Spring is a star property strategically located in the heart of the city and a distance of 2 kms from the airport.

Hotel Silver Spring has wonderful hospitality and top quality service. It’s a pleasing ambience hotel. a visual delight for discerning travelers who visit port Blair. Silver Spring overlooks the scenic beauty of the viper island acclaimed for its historical importance. We stayed at deluxe room. The rooms are well furnished with modern amenities. The hotel offers color television, hair dryer, direct dial phone, internet access, coffee and tea maker, bathroom amenities. As we were a television viewer we totally enjoyed it.

Sightseeing places to see at this hotel are

• corbyns cove beach
• Ross island, viper island
• central jail

They restaurant provide buffet at dinner and it was simply delicious. The sea foods are lip smacking and my kid loved it. The restaurant staffs are very friendly and co operative to us so no problem.

We used laundry service at the hotel. They washed perfectly and returned us before leaving the place. Room service is at 24 hours.. I would suggest you peoples should visit this place once in your life. Asim & Team from Antilog were our guides during the tour & doubled up as taxi drivers. They did showed us places which were nt generally known to common public.Nice place to visit. Loveable staffs. Surely I will visit silver spring in future.

The worst choice one ever could make is to book a room here .. We, being a newly married couple choce Andaman trip through Cox and Kings and they have made arrangement for our stay here in this hotel. Intially we were given a very small room where we had lots of toruble. The sheets were dirty, the room was not cleaned properly, AC remote was not working, no mug in the toilet, Toilet seat was broken, plumbing work in the toilet were in unfinished state... We felt the real hell being there.. We were force to escalate each and every thing to the floor manager and they were also pissed off as our complains were reasonable. We were almost about to vacate the hotel as they couldnt help us in any means. But at the end of the first night stay the discussion while discussing with the manager he promised us that on the following days of stays he will upgrade our booking to Super deluxe room and showed us two rooms - in which we selected one and he noted the same in his dairy .. and we happily boarded to Havelock Island.

After spending memorable days in Havelock Island we returned to the Silver Spring keeping our fingers cross and trusting the floor manager's words. But again we went through the extremity of torchure... We were allocated to another worst room and the promise they gave us for upgradation went on air ... The front office manager was not ready to face us and he hided himself when we went to speak about this. We argued about this for more than 3 hours .... At last when they knew that we might go against them .. They managed to give the same upgraded room ...

I would never recommend this place to stay even for a night... Real Hell

Room Tip: Super Deluxe Room are a bit better .. But again not worth for their tarrif.

Ok place to stay for one night when waiting for the flight; hot water + a/c; didn’t feel like eating anything over there. You should pay max 50 rupees for a tuk-tuk from the port / to the airport.

We had made a booking in advance for the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel on day of checking, they said no rooms are available n shifted us to another hotel which was actually for INR 2200 per night vis-a-vis INR 2900 paid for our booking. No refund was done by either Cleartrip or the hotel. Though i complained to Cleartrip, still they were of no help. The hotel management, told us some silly reason that due to short circuit, no rooms are available. They also claimed only 4 rooms are having problem and all other rooms are full.
We had also done our return booking from Havelock in this hotel. And this time they accommodated with us. But there was no electricity for almost 2 hrs. And the management didn't even provide back up. When we complained, they said that only few rooms are having problem and they denied to shift us to rooms, where electricity was available.
Food was also horrible.
All in all, it was terrible experience and not value for money at all.

The hotel is just 10 minutes from airport in a busy market. It has no view being surrounded by buildings on all sides. The lobby and rooms are clean and spacious for a family of 3 or 4. The bathrooms are quite okay but it took them 1 day to fix a mirror in the bathroom (the beach is always there anyway) and they could not provide a dustbin in the room despite several reminders. Service is average. Forget about morning tea as the restaurant and room service open late. Good thing is most of the city attractions are not very far and catching an auto is easy. Food is very expensive at the hotel.

Room Tip: choose a room on 2nd floor
