My husband and I held our wedding in Emaho Sekawa in September and we cannot say enough good things. The resort, the villas, and the views are spectacular. The staff is so caring and attentive, the chef is amazing, and the owners helped arrange our entire wedding to eliminate the stress from our side. It was an amazing luxury experience which still felt true to the local Fijian culture and experience. The resort has it's own private beach and sunrise and sunsets are unforgettable. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking to escape to paradise in Fiji.

Emaho only has 3 villas and at the time of our visit we were the only guests in the entire resort. It gave us a lot of privacy. Service was the best!! Everyone had great smile on their face and they were all very friendly and helpful. Food was great too and I like their wine collection. The only downside was their boat was under maintenance and we couldn’t do the cruise that everyone recommended online but the resort helped to book Korosun which is a very professional company for our snorkeling trip. I really enjoy staying at this resort. We had the best service in this resort during our entire trip in Fiji and Vanuatu.

We visited this beautiful romantic resort last month during our honeymoon. This resort was the absolute highlight of our honeymoon vacation. We visited three different resorts on our trip to Fiji, leaving Emaho for last and yes indeed we got the best for last. We can’t praise this resort highly enough. From the beautiful FREE fresh scrumptious meals to relaxing spa treatments to amazing hikes to remote waterfalls to snorkeling in seclude private lagoon, this resort really did deliver all we expected and more. The villa Emaho we stayed in is superb and the views are to die for. Important thing to mention is to not to forget to order the Fijian “Kokoda” at least once during your stay. I ended up having it every day.
We became great friends with the staff and hope to keep in touch with them.

This was by far the best trip we took in a long time. We couldn't have wished for a better honeymoon. This resort is a complete gem.

On one of the day our activity was canceled due to rain, which actually ended up being the best day of our stay. We sat on the deck of Villa Emaho, watching the beautiful ever-changing views with spectacular scenery, drinking champagne, having massages, eating delicious meals and reminiscing about life…What a beautiful day that was…So serene, real, peaceful and extremely beautiful at the same time. A wonderful memory.

Many thanks Lucas, Isimeli, Lika, the amazing chef Dee and the rest of the beautiful Fijian staff.

What we liked the best was; Our villa, the views, the staff, amazing meals and the privacy. The privacy is like nothing we ever experienced. This resort has it all if you look to connect or reconnect with your partner.

Room tip: We loved our Villa Emaho. All villas have beautiful views

We stayed at emaho sekawa for 6 nights as a part of our honeymoon, based on all the reviews we read on tripadvisor and other sites we had high expectations.

The first few days at the resort everything was perfect. After the 3rd - 4th day the resorts flaws slowly started to unveil.

It started out with mosquitos and other insects ( we ended up with a total of at least 20 mosquito bites on each of our bodies) which we understand is out of their control but as a resort in a “jungle” we expect the resort to have nets to atleast try to control the situation. The bugs did not allow us to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful views of our villa. We also had a lot of ants in our food which made us lose our appetite.

The second problem was we realized some of the drinks in the fridge were EXPIRED ( from 2 years ago) which is completely unacceptable as we have been drinking from the mini bar for a few days. They also charged us on “non-alchoholic drinks” while it says on our booking it’s inclusive.

Another problem we faced was the internet. They had to change the router twice in our stay there. Which interfered with a lot of work and bookings we had to work with. We also had a problem with the sink and shower, the water pressure was so low almost nothing came out of it for about 2 days. Then at a certain point it stopped completely for about 2 hours. The buggy they gave us to access the beach also broke down on us.

Maybe we had a bad experience, or maybe we had our expectations too high. As we read reviews online we expected a stay at a 5-star resort. But what we got what was no where to close to that. There were a few positive notes to our stay the service was amazing, they took care of us and the staff were extremely kind. The room was also huge and private with beautiful views. The resort is over priced for what it is, and we were extremely disappointed and dissatisfied.

There is no word to describe how fantastic was our stay, from the initial contact with Petra to the check out! At the check in, Lucas, one of the owner, showed us our Villa Emaho (we got upgraded for our honeymoon which was very nice!). The villa is stunning as well as the view. Everything was very clean, floral arrangements everywhere and beyond that, an incredible service throughout our stay. The dinner under the stars was amazing! We did a Kayak tour with Ismael and we loved it! The food was always fresh with customized menu each day. A special mention to Inise and Ima for the superb service and kind attention for lunch and for dinner. A very relaxing stay with magnificent set up to embrace the lush nature! Thanks again!
