I spent a night here with my Dad and Aunty and we were so pleased to discover Palmlea. It's off the beaten track and requires a 4WD to navigate the roads, but the location is absolutely worth the effort.
While the recent cyclone has altered the gardens, we enjoyed both the stunning sea views from the dining room and our delectable meals- the homemade pesto pasta was a highlight! Julie was a kind and attentive host. We were impressed to learn that the resort construction was a community affair involving local labour from a neighbouring village!
For anyone content with rustic conditions, this is a hidden piece of paradise. We'll be back next time we come through Labasa.More
