“TABA is safe - don't cancel!”
Reviewed February 8, 2011

Just returned from three weeks at Hyatt Regency Taba Heights. The resort is secure, absolutely safe and there is no evidence of anything connected with events in Cairo. I understand that there have been a lot of late cancellations and no shows on flights to Taba. This is a real shame. Taba is a great place to chill out. The weather is good (but unsettled last week) and largely predictable, the sea warm and the snorkelling great and very easily accessed. The Hyatt has very friendly staff and the best grounds and pools of all Taba hotels. It is the oldest and therefore the fabric is getting a little jaded. Internet access is slow and expensive and wine is poor value. But overall it’s an excellent value winter sun destination. We have been four times and will be returning next year

“Holiday without the loud music and exorbitant prices”
Reviewed January 6, 2011

Taba is a good place for a holiday not only for people who want to relax in total silence but also for people who are planning trips to Israel or Jordan. Just across the border there is located Israeli town - Eilat, which offers everything that you not find in Taba. In the suburb of Eilat you can visit the Dolphin Reef. This is a unique place where you can enjoy swimming with dolphins in their natural environment. Taxi fare from the border to the Dolphin Reef costs 25 ILS, taxi to the border with Jordan costs 60 ILS. Apart from a few hotels and shops in Taba there is nothing worth of attention. But it is not disadvantage. It is a dream place for those who want to spend a peaceful holiday without the loud music and exorbitant prices.

Im one of the 1000s of passengers stranded in Egypt , but i can think of alot worse place to be stuck in.......
Although i really want to get home , my thanks and appreciation go to Peltours Holidays and Marriott Hotel for taking such good care of us . We are kept constantly informed of whats going on , and have been given a gr8 service by Peltours and Marriott staff .
Its frightening to be stranded overseas but THUMBS UP to the people that are taking care of us , i would recommend both Peltours and Marriott to everyone

“Superb sun, sea and relaxation”
Reviewed August 30, 2009

I'm a little biased as we appeared to have lucked in with three of the best beach view rooms (with no single supplement) I have ever had. However, even that withstanding the food was excellent and varied and none of our party experienced any food related illness whatsoever. I thought the attention to hygene was very good. The staff (cleaners, security, bus drivers, admin, waiters and chefs) were all extremely friendly and courteous. A good example was one of the little hotel shops. I went to buy a lighter as mine had run out. The shop weren't expecting a delivery until the next day so one of the staff insisted on giving me his as a present. I would stay at this hotel at this same resort again happily for sune, sea and relaxation.
