Spent a week at Holiday Village weather really great .We travelled as a couple25 March the hotel caters for couples and families .Food was very good something to please all tastes.Visited the seafood restaurant on beach good value for money.Theres adult only bar and breakfast room if you need to be away from kids but entertainment for all.Our room was on second floor overlooking the beach and the jacuzzi was lovely out on the balcony.Room clean enormous and large flat screen tv.Poolside we never had to get up to get a drink the waiter came to our sunbed to take order and brought drinks back to us this happened everyday about every 20 mins or so.Staff all friendly helpful and attentive .Would recommend we certainly would return .Thanks for a great holiday.

Room Tip: Not much sun on our balcony after about 12 noon but we weren't there so didn't affect us we...

Hi, arrived on Monday 25th feb 2013 with my wife. Transfer to hotel was easy and quick as was checking in, the grounds are superb, lovely plants/ grass etc maintained daily.
Room was nice, walk in shower( no bath), modern TV with many English speaking channels, free safe and a fridge. Massive double bed but mattress a bit firm, so I went to the reception and told them, a mattress cover was added the very next morning, no bother at all, but still a bit hard though.
Waited about ten minutes as our cases were bought to our room( tipped him 5 u.s. dollars as it was a fair hike for him to carry the cases) it's a big place!
Then went to the restaurant with my wife. It was the evening meal. You wait while they sit you, which is very quick! They have 2 sittings 6.30 pm till 7.45, then 8.15 till 10 pm, whenever you go the food is ALWAYS piping hot. Great choices too, differently themed on every evening from Mexican, Indian, Chinese etc but always something lovely. Meat is always cooked to perfection, no matter what. Many nights there was too much choice, so I had both! Cakes too are delicious!
Went to a bar after this, had a few beers and off to bed.
Next morning, breakfast starts at 6.30. Lovely choice and once again piping hot!
After we walked through the immaculate grounds to the beach, all staff members were very helpful throughout, nothing a problem!
The main family pool is a bit noisy during the day, music/quizes etc, but not over the top, kids need fun too! but there is an adults only pool too which is also immaculate and quieter.
The beach is flat with grainy sand, wheel chairs can go on it no problem, also with an adults only area . Give the towel man your towel voucher and he will go to your chosen padded lounger and put your towels on for you. Very comfy loungers. The sea goes out a fair distance at knee level, there are also 2 piers/ jetty's. the one on the left is shorter, and not many fish hang around this one, but if you want some REAL snorkelling action PLEASE PLEASE MAKE THE EFFORT and walk up the longer pier. It is just over 1000 paces in length BUT 100% well worth it! The fish are amazing and all I can describe it like is the moon surface underwater with the most fantastic variety of coloured fish imaginable, you snorkel to the end of the reef ( not deep at all ) and its out of this world, it drops down at the edge but WOW! Make sure you wear your reef shoes for snorkelling tho as they are needed!
Back to the beach, the drinks guy walks it regularly, politely asking if you want a drink and bringing it over. I tipped him 15 euros at the end of the week, which, trust me, was well worth it.
Dinner in the main restaurant, once again was great but also there's a beach bar that does dinner from 1pm which is nice.
Bobby the camel and his 6 month old son walk the beach with their owner, offering rides etc, nice bloke.
Sun drops about 4.30 to 5 pm.
Dinner once again lovely, no problems at all .
Outside as always but nothing to do with the hotel, hassle, taxis beeping you every 10 paces, shop owners although friendly hassling you to come into there shop where nothing has a price tag, ogling you wife! Most annoying and really does make you not to want go outside the complex to be honest. We went to a different part last yr, same hassle though, so it's everywhere!
The hotel is perfect for couples and families alike, plenty of areas to avoid kids if you want it quieter, the real noise which we found was from the LOUD RUSSIANS!
They are sadly all over the area now and not only this hotel, the only noise at night we found was from them, got woken on a few occasions.
But just ignore them and you will find that this hotel is total value for money, great food and the people who work there are great, lovely setting with a fantastic snorkelling pier, all in all a superb holiday!!!
Going back next year 100%

Room Tip: They accept all currency, we just took u.s. dollars and euros, English is fine too though!

stayed here for a week to relax and ive never seen so much fresh fruit, veg and lean meats. there is plenty of other foods like chips, pies, burgers, hot dogs, fryups and yorkshire puds.

staff are freindly.

wifi / internet cost £3,40 for 30 mins its about the cheapest in egypt. there is free wifi in the cafes over the road but it costs about £5 per drink.

book your 3 resturants at the start..

i would recomend the sand buggy trip, more fun than the quad bikes as you can drift and get some air on the dunes and 2 people can ride.

i can recomend the swim up to room. although the pool is a bit chilly, the sea was warmer.

there is no need to go out of the resort its all on site, there are even gift shops onsite.

the gym is rubbish, it needs updating. much of the equipment is ropey and there is no air con.

i was impressed with the sports massage, just like a professinal one in the uk

will defo be back next year

Overall brilliant holiday, huge rooms, the staff couldn't do enough for you, the whole place was really clean and kept that way throughout the day, food was lovely although a bit repetitive but I'm yet to find an all inclusive that isn't.. The main pool was freezing but obviously at this time of year what do you expect but the quiet pool was lovely and warm..we had a spa day at the beginning and the end of the holiday this was fantastic and would recommend this. The kids clubs were great and our kids loved them we were two family's with 4 kids ranging from 4-13 and they all had a fantastic time.I never go back to the same hotel/complex twice but I would deffinatly recommend this one..

Just returned from our 5th visit in a row and our stay was as good as ever.On arrival check in was as always fast and efficient and we was in our room in no time at all.We stayed in block 8 normally we stay in 5 we always book the select rooms for the added extras tea/coffee,bathrobes,slippers and generally larger space.Rooms were kept clean as always but we feel they do need updating as they've had the same decor for the last 5 years.Food was better than previous years a larger selection and after 4 years the chefs have finally decided to fry the beef bacon on the hot plate(hooray).Drinks were good although I've still not managed to get drunk on the beer. All the staff were as friendly and polite as previous visits especially Hussein,Michael and Hanny in the sports bar and Hossam in the lobby bar they never let us leave our seats.Kids club and entertainment staff were great and friendly although bringing in outside acts seemed to have tapered off a little and when they did have them on it was the same acts and shows from previous visits. We did visit the Hard Rock Cafe on one occasion which I would thoroughly recommend beautiful food and very cheap T.G.I's was nice as well if you do like to eat out a few times. The weather was great except for 1 afternoon of cloud mid to late 20's everyday and still warm in the evenings.Overall we had a fantastic time as always we hope to return again next February although we heard there looking at changing certain things which could effect our decision we certainly hope it doesn't because we really do love this place.Just a small comment there seemed to be a lot more Eastern Europeans this time which I wasn't to keen on a few of these were very rude especially to the staff, totally uncalled for, manners cost nothing. On previous visits the hotel as only ever catered for British tourists.

had a great holiday from 13th Feb to 27th. Booked a swim-up room as it was our second visit - well worth the extra as we could be quiet or go and find the busier places. The village was well looked after with staff cleaning all the time. The gardens are excellent and are a credit to the gardening staff. The choice of food was excellent and we really appreciated being able to go to the Al acarte and for breakfast in the Adult only Mediterrano . The staff were friendly and helpful from the first moment we stepped off the coach until we got back on at the end of our holiday. Although the resort caters well for children and young people do not be put off if you are older guests as the resort is so large that there are many places you can go to be quiet or you can sit by the pools and on the beach and watch the activities. We took sterling with us and never got round to changing into Egyptian money because the hotel didn't have any LE and the bank was outside the village and quite a walk if like us you couldn't walk far. However the staff can change sterling notes and we were happy to change pound coins into notes for them. If you find walking difficult a member of staff will phone for a golf buggy for you, this is free but only takes you within the village.

Room Tip: swim-up rooms in Block 7 get the most sun, rooms on the second floor of blocks 7,8,9,have good balco...

Visited for a week in February 2013 with my wife and two teenage daughters. Weather was warm and sunny, 24 to 30 degrees during the day down to a cool 15 degrees in the evening. We had two 1st floor room close to the main pool and beach, both were very large, clean and well serviced. The restaurants were all great, even the main buffet one, although busy had an amazing and tasty selection to suit everyone. The food was well presented, well cooked and very tasty. All the staff were excellent, we only tipped for exceptional service, but no one really expected it. The pools were really clean and pool bars never left you thirsty.

TIPS,

Don't take towels from home, plenty for room and also seperate ones for pools and beach.
Book all your restaurants on your first day, they do book up.
The spa is great, worth spoiling yourself.
Newspapers are a rip off, ended up getting a second hand well thumbed one for £4.
There is no need to walk out of the complex... you will be disappointed, and hassled to buy something.

All in all a really relaxing week, would love to return!

Room Tip: Beware of being too close to the beach, the 'Pataya Beach' nightclub can be noisy, until 5am...
