Ive just returned from a weeks stay at Tropitel. The hotel is very nice, the staff are so friendly and litterally do anything for you. Special thanks to Mohamed and islam at the slide pool for making our trip special and making us feel so welcome. I advise that before travelling, email the hotel and request a room in the 900 block, its by far the nicest part of the hotel. I know this as i changed rooms 3 times. The 900 block is at the back of the resort and so peaceful unlike the main hotel where all the russians get put. Music playing very loud until 3 am. The russians are a nightmare! 80% of the hotel was russian and they are so rude and noisey, always pushing their way around, especially at dinner times! Made us feel so uncomfortable. The location of the hotel is fantastic, right in the heart of it all. But beware of the pushy egyptians hassling you to go in their shops. I knew it would be bad, but infact it was aweful and spoilt the holiday for us. So much so that we didnt want to leave the hotel. Food was lovely, always something different but not alot of english selection but what do you expect from egypt. We also struggled with the beds, they are very hard but like it throughout the hotel.
