“"Great Stay"”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 18, 2013

We arrived 19th Dec 2012 for 2 weeks, it was our first time to Egypt and after reading reviews on tripadvisor, we were apprehensive, but after arriving at Falcon Hills we had no worries at all. Check-in was very quick with welcoming staff who are very friendly. Our room was big and clean for the 3 of us with comfortable beds and a huge shower with plenty of hot water, the room was in the middle of both pools, a bit noisy at night with the music!! and not good when they check in NOISY IGNORANT ITALIANS next door, but after a few words at reception, this was sorted out. Aymen the pool man is amazing and will do anythig to help you with sunbeds whenever you want one..thank you xx Christmas Eve was great, a little cold but the staff did very well, New Years Eve was absolutely amazing and its the best party i have ever been to, you all deserve big thanks for all the hard work you put into organising. There is a good choice of food and I always found something to eat, and i am very picky!! Always use the hotels taxi driver Kamal, he will take you anywere you want to go for a good price. Palma beach and Reef Beach are close by or you can use the free hotel shuttle bus, great for snorkelling. All the staff do a tremendous job at this hotel and work extremely hard, thanks to Osama, Tamar, Karim, Zak and all the others...xx We will definately go back and look forward to seeing you all again..xx

Room Tip: If you want a quiet nights sleep, then ask for a room by the smaller pool, as it gets very noisy on...

Came to falcon hills 29th dec-8th jan first time in Egypt , what a great time we had stayed in room 625 by the small pool. What can we say about this hotel than it was fantastic it my not be big and grand but it ticks all the boxes if you want to feel part of a family from the time you walk in the door. The staff are something special looking after your every needs and always finding time to come and have a chat. The New Year's Eve gala was out of this world never seen a selection of food like it before, like I said it ticks all the boxes good clean hotel, nice size rooms, brill staff Osama, keram and the rest thankyou so much you now feel part of our family we will see you all again at Christmas because we will be back that's for sure. we arrived on the 29th December for 7 nights with family and friends to celebrate the new year. Check in was easy and quick, with welcoming staff.
Room was big and clean, beds very comfortable, shower was excellent with plenty of hot water. Hotel is a little dated but spotless, staff are constantly cleaning.
Main pool was freezing but smaller pool was much warmer.
Lots of very comfortable sunbeds with fresh towels daily.
The food was good and there was plenty of it.
The new year gala dinner was fantastic and the staff worked so hard to get everything ready on time.
We found the entertainment very limited, but i don't believe it was the fault of the animation
team. They did there best with the things they had and were very friendly and helpful.
The spa treatment we had was lovely, so relaxing and a great start to our holiday. We all booked to have the Cleopatra package and it was wonderful, it was £30 for 2 hours of treatments The staff in the spa were also fab and professional.
Soho square was a great place to visit and the ice bar was great fun.
We wanted a complete peaceful holiday and that's what we got. A whole week of chilling relaxing and recharging our batteries.

This was our third stay at the Falcon Hills and would and will be staying again in December. The staff make the hotel as mentioned in most of the other reviews and go out of their way to help with any issues you may have.
Hotel location is great on quieter street with easy access to several places either walking or by taxi provided by hotel at special rates. Taxi drivers great, very knowledgable and helpful. and special thanks to Kamal for all his help. From arrival the check in was quick and painless and requested rooms were provided by the back smaller pool which is quieter and all rooms overlook the pool. Cases taken very quickly and ready to roll.
Hotel grounds and gardens kept very neat by gardeners who don't often get a mention but this makes a difference when you are sat out by the pool.
Food a bit hit and miss but always something to eat and lots of choices just the mixtures take a little getting used to but you are in Egypt. Always something being cooked to order outside and chef will also make you something if you really dont like anything. Many different eating places close by like seafood, steak houses etc and then the other types of eateries McD, Pizza Hut and KFC! Waiters go out of their way and also to bring drinks etc so special thanks to Osama, Zakria, Mahmood, Tamar etc also for their attention at the pool bar.
Beaches very nice and clean with beds, brollies etc provided for guests along with beach towels also in easy reach by hotel free bus to 2 different beaches and others not far by taxi
Also free hotel bus service provided twice a week to Soho Square where the animation team travel with you and also Naama Bay for guests.
Plenty to look at in Naama Bay and bargains to be had although Old Market is cheaper but a little more hassle and bargaining needed here. Enjoyed a trip to Ras Mohammed National Park this trip and you would not believe it was only a drive away from resort.
Animation team Dodo and Chris work really hard to do different things day and night but this is always difficult with getting people to join in and sometimes lack of children to play games etc.
There is one big pool which is great in summer but very cold this time of year and a smaller back pool which is heated and looked after by Ayman who is always ready to bring beds to wherever you want to sit.
Overall hotel could do with a little cash to update some items like games/snooker/ etc which is dated but no real complaints as overall a very good hotel for the money where nothing ias too much trouble.
Mr Phil, Maxine & Pat

Room Tip: Less noise round back pool

We stayed here 0n 28th December 2012 for 7 nights to include the New Year visiting as a family holiday.
Having visited Sharm on a number of occasions, this was the first time that we had experienced a smaller and 3 star rated hotel.
We arrived with trepidation but our fears were quickly expelled.
The checking in process was extremely efficient with polite and efficient staff.
We found the quality of the food excellent but limited, and for us the choices would have been boring if the stay had been longer.
Our room whilst appearing a little tired was kept spotless.
The swimming pools (2) were of adequate size but at this time of year one was extremely cold, whilst the other pool was heated.
There were adequate sun beds and towels.
The only drawback at this time of year was that you tended to chase the position of the sun around the poolside.
The evenings however were chilly.
The day time entertainment was limited, but the staff did their best with only a few children at the hotel
The New Years Eve Gala evening was outstanding from the welcoming cocktails to the meal and entertainment in the Tent.
The endeavours of all of the staff were exceptional and they could not do enough for you.
We and our family would not hesitate to visit again

Just back from holiday at Falcon Hills (26th December - 4th January) from moment we arrived staff were excellent so attentive and helpfull. On arrival Radar carried our suitcases to our rooms and showed us how to operate the safe,he asked our names and from then on greeted us everytime he saw us by our names! We had 2 rooms by small pool which were quiet and we were able to enjoy the sun from approx 10am every day, the rooms were adequate and very clean, bed was comfortable and I slept better than I do at home!!!! - room was cleaned every day with linen/towel change and some lovely towel art created for us to find on returning to room several times during stay.
Breakfast consisted of croisants, rolls, bread, danish pastries, cheese, ham, fruit, yoghurt, honey, eggs, cereal or eggs cooked to your choice ie fried/scrambled or omlettes.
Lunch time buffet - salad, soup, rice, potatoes, veg, chips, chicken or beef. Fab deserts and tea or coffee.
Mid afternoon pancakes/waffles and icecream served on the patio outside reception.
Dinner much the same as lunchtime.
People complained about food and lack of variation but we never went hungry or felt the need to visit kfc or mac d's!!!!
All the staff were absolutely fabulous and work so hard to keep us holidaymakers happy! Ayman who sorted our sun bed location for us, Radar, Mahood,Karim, Mohammed, Ali, Osama and ALL the staff who I havn't mentioned!
Many thanks FALCON HILLS I have stayed at some of the best hotels in London (who incidently charge per night what the falcon charge per week all inclusive) and their staff could learn a lesson in hospitality/manners from you.

Room Tip: Rooms 614 and 615 overlooked small pool (heated) and was very quiet
