My mum booked this holiday for my birthday and after reading the reviews I was wary, but on arrival I found this hotel lovley. The place is spotlesly clean and the rooms are spacious and comfortable with brilliant air conditioning. The food is good and even though its a bit repetative, and there is not too much variety, you never go hungry. The only complaint I had was that the barmen don't favour all inclusive guests so you do have a wait at the bar. We stayed in the back part of the hotel and we had the smaller of the 2 pools but there were sunbeds for you every day if you tipped! The complex is fumigated every day to get rid of any bugs and it doesn't inconveniece you at all. The nightly entertainment is a man on karaoke who is bland at first but once you have a few drinks you soon get in the party mood. They also have oriental nights and these are excellent. The staff here work very long hours for very little pay but the are extremely friendly especially Atia, Tarek, Youseff & the service manager although I cannot remember his name. On my birthday the chef even made me a cake for no extra charge. The free buses are handy but if you want taxi make sure you haggle!! This is a great place to stay and I will definately be going back!!

A friend and I were looking for a last minute holiday which would have hot weather and in that respect we definitely weren't disappointed. We had 90's during the day and 30's during the evening.

Our hotel was billed as originally a 3 star but updated to a 4 star. Reading other peoples reviews we thought that it seemed nice and booked an all inclusive for £500. Turns out, it was the Falcon Inn across the road that had been updated.

The hotel may have been a solid 3 star a number of years back but now would be classed as a 2 (maybe a 2 pushing 3) star, as it was starting to show it's age in a number of places

It was clean though.

The majority of the staff were really quite friendly on the whole but we did start to notice a difference in treatment towards us and the non all inclusive guests. An example of this is asking for a beer. I asked for two beers and received 1 bottle split between 2 glasses (small glasses). Paying customers would receive 2 bottles. They were given preferential treatment, more options with regards to food and drink and overall, just better service. Also, they got a bit funny when we drank more then a few in one evening, trying to imply we should drink less (understandable if we were drunk but seeing as it was only after about 5 beers each......)

Food was basic at best but if you're not fussy, it's ok.
We ate out in the town itself instead, which was quite cheap and a lot nicer quality.

Oh, and the town being within 'walking distance', I think not. Well, not unless you consider an hour or two's walk as 'walking distance'

Over all, I was ok with the hotel, just a bit frustrated that what was promised, wasn't delivered.
