“Great Holiday”
Reviewed November 25, 2009

My wife and I spent seven wounderful days at Gazalar Gardens. We found it excellant value and plan to return next year. A short walk to Gazala Beach hotel and your on a private beach. The staff very friendly and I think must out number the guests, the whole hotel was spotlessly clean and the food plentyfull and lots of variety although sometimes a little strange for our tasts but we didn't go hungary or feel we had to eat out. Situated in a great location close enough to walk to the town but but far enough away to be affected by the noise in fact it was vey quite at the hotel all bars close around midnight.

in good location - nice rooms all with shaded balconies over looking beautiful gardens and pool areas that are light up in the evening
Air conditioning in bedrooms and in the hotel main area
Plenty of privacy for those wanting peace and play areas for children
Several retaurants available offering a selection of foods and drinks - staff are always smiling and helpful
Food - ample choice - always hot
Entertainment - several different style musical entertainment offered in their little bars around the garden
Massage / beauty treatments - you must speak to Rasha - a beautiful lady that will walk through the gardens during the daytime offering a range of pampering treatments for your holiday
Tipping - staff can be making as little as 400 LE a month - attitude of the hotel owners is that they will be nice to customers and get tips to make up their wages - so remember to leave something little after your meal or on your bed 10 or 20 LE a day would be ample = £1 or £2 to us
Area - Naamba Bay is a manmade resort with one very busy main street - with hotels built on both sides - there is an area with masses of small shops, malls and eating houses - very well light up in the evening
Area is the best in Sharm el sheikh and the holiday suitable for those wanting a restful hotel based or diving holiday - most excursions are long and expensive - I advise the best hotel you can afford with all inclusive deal (first time we had ever tried this and it worked out great for this area - no tummy upsets)

We have just come back from Egypt and stayed in this hotel. Everything about it was fantastic. Great location, friendly and helpful staff especially Christine who looks after everyone. Nothing is too much trouble. Food was very good - could'nt fault a single thing. Room was spotless. We will definitely be back again and will recommend to everyone. Already looking forward to next year. Fantastic !

Recently returned from a marvellous holiday in Sharm (Naama Bay). I stayed in Ghazala Gardens and had the best time. The hotel was fantastic. The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Christine ( Cat ) she could not do enough for us. The swimming pool is fantastic and goes all through the hotel. Its an 'AI' so there was not end of drinks and good food. The room were a great size and so clean. I would def recommend this hotel to anyone. Its paradise in the middle of Naama Bay.
GO GO GO !!

Just come back from Ghazala Gardens in Sharm. What a fabulous Hotel. Quiet and relaxing great friendly staff good food great service especially the restaurant they always knew where we were sitting . Thank you to Mohamed and his team in the Olive Garden. The other good thing is the guest relation is from the UK so she is totally understanding to any queries you may have. \she is very attentive. The hotel is spotlessly clean I wil go back next year with all the family you would be foolish not to book it.There is also a gala dinner included in the price.

We stayed at gazalah gardens in august this year.the hotel is in an excellent location, right across the road from naama bay which is full of shops, bars and restaurants so it saves on taxis. The first thing you will notice is how lovely the entrance is to the hotel, from the road outside it looks stunning and the little bridge over the water to the reception is lovely. The hotel is clean and walking around the grounds these are the same.the pool area is really lovely with plenty of sunbeds to relax on.the food at the hotel is of a very good standard and we had absolutely no complaints at all throughout our stay.Without a doubt i have to say that one of the best parts of the stay was the staff.all are friendly and very welcoming and cannot do enough for you.you really feel at home! also the guest relations there is excellent with any problems or queries being dealt with straight away.the hotel also offer a range of trips out which are a must, especially the bedouin night! i would definately go back and stay at this hotel with no problems at all

I travelled to the Ghazala Gardens on 15/10/2009 for a weeks stay with my girlfriend. Just to explain how it works; each hotel is split into two further hotels; IE' Ghazala Gardens is on one side of the main road, and Ghazala Beach is on the other side (beach) of the main road. I think it is irrelevant which hotel you stay in as both are very easy walking distance to the beach/shops.

Ghazala Gardens Pro's
- Pool area is reasonably nice
- Rooms were well cleaned

Ghazala Gardens Con's
- Food wasn't great, very little variety, and to sum up, both me and my girlfriend were ill with stomach aches, and diarreah, which meant we were unable to leave the room for last half of the holiday. In addition, I am still suffering with the same symptons 10 days on. We only ate at this hotel as it was an all inclusive package. Upset stomach's seem to be quite common all over Egypt because of a lack of clean water and poor food preperation.
- Staff are all male and 75% come across fairly rude
- Table Tennis table is unplayable
- Bathrooms are very basic and in bad condition
- All inclusive wine is toxic and undrinkable
- Only one computer for the internet

Naama Bay Pro's
- Area is liveley, resonable number of restaurants and bars
- Close to beach

Naama Bay Con's
- You can't move 10 yards without getting shouted out by egyptian men trying to sell you something or take you to their bar/shop or get you into their taxi's. These people are so hard to deal with as they don't accept no thank you as an answer. We tried everything from ignoring, to politely saying no thank you, to rudely saying no, and to be honest, i dont think either way worked.

To sum up, I can say with confidence that I will never be returning to Ghazala Gardens or Egypt.
