Just got back from sharm this morning after staying at the ghazarla gardens. Only a 15-20 min transfer from the airport. Booked this Red Sea holiday 7 weeks ago looking for a really nice hotel for great value, we weren't disappointed. On arrival we checked in, we're given a room with a disappointing view but within 1/2 hr we were moved to a better room, while we enjoyed the all-inclusive in the bar. The rooms are a bit dated and with a little effort this hotel could be 5 star. The staff are so friendly, can't do enough for you. The English girls that work at the hotel are very helpful, Mira and Jane always chatty and smiling. The food is great, so much choice for every diet, the gala buffet display is out of this world, being a chef I do judge a little lol. Had a tour of the kitchen they do a grand job keeping it all in the laws in that heat, hats off to them. The hotel is really good, set just over the road from the beach with the baton man helping you across. The grounds of the hotel are really nice the lagoons and beach are stunning. The mango bar is a great place to hang out, the lads there really look after you, but saying that all the staff do. To finish off if you haven't been to Egypt this is a lovely place to go either chill and rest or use it as a base to dive and do some trips. Would definitely go back and would recommend to all our friends.

How anybody who has stayed at this hotel could write a negative review is beyond us.

We have just returned from a seven night all inclusive holiday at the Ghazala Gardens hotel and can honestly say we experienced one of the best holidays we have ever had. This was our first visit to Egypt and can say straight away that it won’t be our last.

The Hotel frontage, the main lobby reception area and lobby bar cannot be faulted in any way. The ambience is cool and tranquil during the day and very relaxed and welcoming when evening arrives. Bianca did all she could to ensure we knew where everything was and how to get the most out of our time in Egypt.

The many pools and garden areas are also faultless. The complex is quite large but has been very cleverly laid out so that all the ‘busy’ areas are screened off from each other.
Our first meal (breakfast) was taken in the ‘Olive Garden’ restaurant. We were obviously looking like ducks out of water as we wondered around but the staff were very helpful and eager to assist.

We were ‘adopted’ by our favourite waiter Ahmed, who made it his duty to ensure we had everything we needed each and every time we used the restaurant. Needless to say we chose the Olive Garden for every breakfast and five out of seven of our evening meals. The quality and variation of the meals on offer was perfectly acceptable to us but we did chat with others (briefly) who bemoaned the lack of proper chips, pies and sausage etc.

On our first day we found a cracking spot to sunbathe close to the ‘Little Italy’ bar/restaurant and got to know Saad the bar manager. Once again, we were so impressed with the service and friendliness of Saad and his team that we chose to adopt him. These guys are VERY good at their jobs and in no time at all know what you want before you get chance to even ask.
Our party celebrated two birthdays during the holiday and the teams at the Olive Garden and later at Little Italy really made the occasion special with everyone working there coming over and creating a terrific atmosphere.

While we were there we took advantage of the Spa for facials and manicures/pedicures, worth every penny.

The highlight of the week was a speed boat trip to Tiran Island with Emad from Tasnem Aqua Sport organising every aspect of it, two of us were first time snorkelers and they made sure we felt safe and their enthusiasm for the quality of the snorkelling soon had us hooked.

Every day we were encouraged by Rana Tawfik and Kieran Colbert to join in water volley ball, this was hugely entertaining and resulting in guests from different countries all getting together twice a day and having great fun. The only disappointment was that at the end of our holiday it appeared that these two warm and friendly individuals were ‘head hunted’ by another hotel. This was a terrible shame as the many guests involved each day thoroughly enjoyed the events they arranged.

A final thank you goes to Mustafa who was responsible for the cleanliness of our room , nothing was too much trouble, the rooms were kept spotless and wonderfully cool. He was waiting at the end of every day with clean beach towels and a cheerful greeting.
This is a great hotel, the rooms are a little tired but they are clean, the food is varied and fresh, the staff are a team that the management and directors of Red Sea Holidays should be very proud.

Room Tip: some rooms have sun all day we were delighted that ours was in the shade.... there is no need to sun...

We booked our holiday to Egypt with Red Sea Holidays and stayed at the Ghazala Gardens Hotel in Sharm el Sheikh from 22nd Sept to 6th Oct 2012. When we arrived the lights at the front were off and it was dark and dismal looking but we discovered they were carrying out maintenance and it soon looked more inviting. The reception staff were very efficient and we and our luggage were in our room very quickly.
Our room had everything that we needed and was kept spotless by our attendant Khaled who also ensured we had bottled water every day and clean bath towels. We also liked the fact that we were supplied with fresh beach towels daily without the hassle of collecting them using a card system which we had to do on other visits to Egypt
The Red Sea Holiday Reps were very good, as well as the Hotel staff who with the usual one or two exceptions were very pleasant and helpful.
There were two main restaurants The Fountain and the Olive Garden and our only issue with the hotel was the food which we found quite varied but on some days was not cooked enough for us. This applied particularly to vegetables which as far as we were concerned were served raw. We did always find something to eat but not always our first choice. We did meet a couple who had been to the hotel for a few years who did say that the food in their opinion was not as good as previous years. Every Friday there was a Gala buffet laid on (a lot of extra work for the restaurant staff) and this was excellent. There were 3 other eating places available, in the day serving pizzas, burgers, chips etc. which we did use and found them very good. In the evening these became al a carte serving, Italian, Mexican and Brazilian food but they had to be booked in reception. O’fogos Brazilian restaurant was particularly good and the Peanut Soup, which we had to try, was excellent. These were part of the all-inclusive package with only certain items incurring extra charges.
The grounds and pool are really lovely with a relaxing atmosphere and are kept very clean by hard working staff that will put up your parasol and sunbed and don’t hang around for a tip. There was even a beach section in the grounds and if you wanted the real thing you had the use of the beach at Ghazala Beach which was just across the road.
Our favourite place for a drink during the day was The Mango Bar. In the evening we tended to go to the Naama Lounge area where there was entertainment laid on every night.
This is definitely a chill out place and we did have a really good holiday and have no hesitation in recommending the Ghazala Gardens Hotel to all.

We got back to blighty late on sat night (20th oct) after two weeks stay at the gardens the weather was brill, all the staff was first rate, nothing was too much trouble for them, If your a picky eater you may have some problems with the food at main meal times meat a bit tough and a bit repetitious snacks were good,I was on crutches for all my stay and all staff chefs, waiters, even the head chef took my plate back to my table at times, visited the Brazilian restaurant on the friday night before we flew home on sat, that was a change and we had very a nice meal as it was al a cart and it had to be booked which I had a slight communication problem with on of the guest relation team but Jane (from Bristol I think) did an amazing job to get us in.The pools were great we all went in every day after two days of using her water wings they were off and Ellie was swimming without them by the end of the hols she was jumping, diving after a fashion and swimming under my legs and again the pool attendants were there putting the brolly's up getting ashtrays, setting up your loungers for a great days sun bathing. The rooms were a bit dated beds a bit hard grouting in the bathroom was a bit rough so yes they could do to refurbish the rooms but in all fairness they were very clean and tidy everyday. So all in all the four of us thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.
The wife, myself, our daughter, and granddaughter (Ellie aged 3) who everybody loved
so to all at the ghazala gardens thank you

just returned from ghazzala, stopped from 23september for 14nights,had a swim up junior suite in block 6.alright its not 5* but for an hotel that is 24/7 12months a year it was ok,very clean, the room boy was great, could not do eneough for me and the wife.
Jayne and her team at customers services could not be more helpful and Martin the manager and his team bent over backwards to ensure that everyone was happy.
lots of choice with the food at the hotel,i am very picky with my food and i could find something i liked,so people who have commented that the food was the same and boring must have not stopped at the same hotel as us.
alright the entertainment is not the best, but thats the same in every hotel i have stopped at over the years, but the people stopping at the hotel were very friendly no matter where they came from, the staff were polite and helpful at all times, all the bars were great, especailly the beach bar,ok you could get drinks as part of the all inclusive bar on the beach, but sometimes it was nice to pay and sit down in the beach bar,the foam party was held at the beach bar and me and the wife had to attend to wind up my 22 year old granddaughter who is a clubber.
we cant wait to return next year,

Room Tip: upgrade to a junior suite, well worth the extra, the swim up rooms are second to none.

Returning from our weeks stay at Ghazala Gardens my best friend and I have thoroughly enjoyed a holiday to remember.

The hotel is perfectly situated, with Naama Bay and the beach practically on the doorstep. Just a 10 minute taxi drive away is the lovely Soho Square, the perfect place to wander round the more upmarket shops and resturaunts.

The room we actually stayed in was fairly basic but comfy, however after seeing the swim up rooms / suites we feel we would pay the extra to stay in one of those next time.

The pool area and pool bars are faultless, lots of nice sunbeds and cabanas that you dont have to fight for. There is also an artificial beach so you can have the best of both worlds without going out the hotel!

Whilst round the pool we met 2 lovely members of the animation team, Rana and Kieran. They were enthusiastic and good fun throughout the day and night, clearly fantastic at their jobs along with being lovely people, we thoroughly enjoyed meeting them.

Food wise you have the main resturaunt offering buffet style meals breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are also themed resturaunts such as an Italian, Mexican and Brazilian, however these do need to be booked in advance for evening meals.

Overall we got everything from our holiday that we could of hoped for, a mix of relaxation and fun. We met lots of lovely people and have memories not to forget.
