A great day out on a large boat. The staff on board were very helpful. We stopped 3 times to snorkel and seeing the marine fish was amazing

We booked the VIP boat cruise through Thomson at our hotel in Sharm. It was £49 per person. There were about 16 of us on the boat. It was a normal boat cruise, nothing really VIP about it. Cant fault the staff and the locations visited for snorkelling. But we were pestered by the on board photographer not long after we set off, to have our photo's taken. I dont look my best on a windy boat so i declined. But he was persistant until our guide told him to back off. Our guide was nice but we only saw him at the begining of the cruise and at the very end. No idea where he was for the rest of the day, probably sleeping down below. My only niggle was at the end of the trip our guide asked us to tip the boat staff, as they only make a living from our tips....we have no problem with tipping the guys, but i was a little bemused as to how come they dont get anything from the £49 per person charge Thomson made us pay?? Is Thomson taking all the money??

We liked scuba diving and snorking around Tiran Island. It was our first diving and snorking experience. We thoroughly enjoyed it.We paid £20.00 to buy a CD of our divings. However, later on we realised that some of our photrographs had been doctored and schools of fish had been added in the photogrpahs, which looked so unreal and tacky.

Scuba diving was out of this world! The boat staff were all friendly and very polite. Food on the boat was nice. Was an unbeatable experience!

Great value for money. 3 stops giving you the opportunity to dive, snorkle, or swim. The lunch provided was fresh and delicious.
