Just came back from my holidays back there. If you want great all inclusive experience don't go there. Or at least not this hotel. You won't enjoy the food, may be breakfast if you like pastries. They are to die for. Bottle water is not included. $3 you will have to pay. Wine - I would call it vinegar, beer has so much gas inside that it upsets your stomach and after some time starts burning back of your throat. Orange juice will colour your tongue orange, pineapple juice gets more watery as day progresses. In the evening you will have nice water flavoured with pineapple. One bar only opened til midnight and it's a bit far away from all the entertainment. Late checkout fees €7 per hour after 11 am Egyptian time. Remember everything in the resort works domina time. Add another hour to Egyptian time. Don't ask me why. Unfortunately we weren't even so lucky to use late check out as they were fully booked. You will have to give your bracelet back otherwise it's €20 to pay. And then you are left or to sit in reception or find your own entertainment. You wouldn't be able yo use their facilities. Only after we insisted, we were provided with meal voucher and a towel cards. Some good points. Great staff. Beautiful views. Nice beach, great for snorkelling. Would I go there again. Hell no. Have had better experience in other sharm resorts.

Room Tip: Sea view. Very quiet, lovely view of sunrise, walking distance to everything what you would need.

I spent 10 days at the Domina Oasis in January and i have to admit that was the worst 5* hotel I have been so far. I can not understand where these stars came from.
Rooms were average, equipped with a little old fashion TV set and old fashion bathroom far from being exclusive. Balcony with a sea view was quite nice.
The hotel restaurant was a nightmare. It was not a proper restaurant, rather a canteen - noisy, ugly with awful food and wine served in thick beer glasses.
There was only one all-inclusive bar opened in the evening, near the sea and quite far from most of the hotel rooms.
There was good point of the place. The pontoon pier with two small swimming pools - place where you could have a quiet sun -bathing far from a noisy main swimming pool.
The grounds were kept well but lacked green spots with benches for reading and resting. In fact, there were no benches in the whole complex at all.
Definitely, it is not a place for people with walking problems and with little children in their prams or buggies - lots of steps, streets instead of park paths.
Resuming - I will never go back to this place again and and my advise is to avoid it unless you do not care of star rating and quality.

Room Tip: Rooms wit a sea view are nicer. Trip to Petra, wonderful experience!

Got back last night from a week in Sharm (first time there) at the Domina Coral Bay Oasis. Mixed feelings.

Room - location was brilliant, overlooking the beach, close to the few inclusive bars and 'restaurants' (canteens). Towels, sheets and cleaning were good, but curtains, fixtures and fittings were grimy and a bit tired. The chairs in the canteen were filthy. We had no hot water all week, despite informing reception. We were told to let it run. Didn't work. Shelves in the wardrobe and toilet roll holder all at a jaunty angle, to the extent the toilet roll ended up on the floor most of the time.
Food - very poor. Worst aspect of the hotel. Despite what the blurb says, there's not much rotation of dishes, it was a bit 'same old, same old'. Also, the hot food was usually tepid. We were both ill while we were there and still have a stomach bug (four days and counting). Wine served in half pint glasses (!!) which I personally had no problem with until the stomach bug kicked in and I could no longer drink alcohol.
Staff - friendly, polite and helpful, no complaints, they were great.
Location/resort - brilliant!! The beach is on a coral reef and the fish are fantastic! Brightly coloured tropical fish of various sizes, snorkelling was brilliant. You have to get in to the water via a pontoon, not from the beach, (though children can paddle at the edge of the sea) due to the coral being so close to the beach.

Most guests were Russians, and if you're ok with that then that's fine.

There is only one inclusive bar open at night, the others close at sunset. The hotel wasn't full while we were there but I guess it could get very busy in the high season. Weather was great the whole week (high 20s).

Would I go to Sharm again? Probably. Would I go to this hotel again? Probably not.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the sea are great in terms of view, closeness to the beach and free bar and restau...

. Peter on reception not only made you feel welcome, he was most helpful.. The same can be said for all the staff we met.
Our room was kept clean and well kept at all times.
We dined at the AlWadi restaurant where Ali ran a tight ship and looked after the diners, changing the layout as needs required. The food was very good, the chef circulated to ensure all was well and replacement food brought out as needed.
We enjoyed our holiday, thanks to a large extent to the welcoming attitude of the staff we encountered .
This was a holiday we really enjoyed.

.

Room Tip: We enjoyed a room with a sea view ---- 58112 --- it not only overlooked the sea, it was quiet.

first of all please don't think its a 5 star its not only the Egyptian rating !!
we got there at night to a good welcome by the receptionist, where he gave us a map to find your way around, food is same every 3 days mostly not even warm due to the poor chefs having to cater for too many people, salad served for breakfast among other things i would feed my dog so lived off omelets, toasters not working in restaurant,no kettle in rooms, only aloud in certain swimming pools & one restaurant and one part of beach, only one all inclusive bar on a night which was outdoor dark cold and had no entertainment to serve 1000's of people mainly very rude Russians, all the good facilities are extras like gym 10 euro a day,big spa which also had beach and pool tents and cost £35 a full massage
we broke a all inclusive wrist band and tried to charge us 20 euro, last day we paid to keep a room on till 3pm but the stopped us getting drinks and using beach towels at 12am and if not returned on time 12am the rude receptionist who became very aggressive told me each towel card and band would be 20 euro each and you have to complete check out otherwise the hold you baggage to ransom,
After all that the plus sides new years eve was very good, we did complain after a week about the food and they did move us restaurants which was a lot better, the grounds are beautiful and well kept, the taf tafs (buses) are very good, the pool, beach, pontoons was all great, life gaurds at all pools, rooms are fine and cleaned every day we had great views non all inclusive restaurants with good food but its not right when its meant to be all inclusive and paying £7.50 a pizza, all staff are friendly and help full and are the biggest asset to the resort

if it wasn't for the great staff at the sultan restaurant, the beach bar 25 and mainly pool 57 bar and lifeguard we'd of moved hotel

its such a shame, such a nice looking resort is such a let down

Room Tip: get a up stairs room if possible great views

stopped for 7 nights for the first time,
food was very repetative from the hot food line but a wide variety and also salad and pasta bar which was good.
all inclusive bars was ok but 4 out of the 5 we could use were closed at sundown.
so had to head to the bahiya bar in the evening which was good.
spot on service at the bahiya pouring our drinks before we asked and more often than not delivered to out tables just as we finished our last ones.
met a couple of great friendly barmen who were a great laugh and spoke very good english "abdo and ibrahim who looked after us and were very pleaseant and made us feel at home.
although a very large resort there was mini busses from all locations taking you where you needed to go every 10 minutes.
all the grounds were very clean and well maintained plants etc.
happilly go again next yr.

Room Tip: if you want the beach closeby get a room near the bahia bar
