Everything about Club Magic hotel was fantastic. The resort was beautiful and right on the beach. It had a variety of activities and entertainment throughout the day and night. We travelled with Thomson and we cannot fault them- they were very helpful and always there to answer any queries. The food was amazing- we loved the different themed nights and the selection of food was excellent. The staff were friendly and the grounds were perfect. The only downfall was that people got up extremely early to reserve for the sun beds so we didn't always get the best ones; we did always get one though. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Room Tip: Second floor rooms have a better view of the beach

Stayed at this hotel with my partner and can't fault the place!!
The heart of your experience is the warmth and personal attention given by the staff, from the reception desk right through to the gardeners!! They can't do enough to help you!!
The hotel is immaculately clean and continuously being cleaned throughout the day to keep it that way!!
Staff work incredible hard all day. most work 12hour days in the extreme heat..

Private Beach allows you to walk into the sea but I would recommend a pair of sea shoes as it is a little uneven underfoot in places!! You can see hundreds of fish near the shore or secondly snorkel off the jetty in the deeper water around the beautiful coral reefs!! Lifeguards are there to if you need it!!

Now we look at the food and if anyone can say there is not enough choice or nothing for them to eat!! I'd have to ask if they live at home eating fish fingers and chips daily!! I am a fussy eater myself and I found myself loads to choose from!! Every night there is a theme and the restaurant is decorated to this theme. it just improves the whole atmosphere. The specialist restaurants we didn't get booked into but everything we heard was good!!!
The hotel runs a keen children's club and looks well organised with many activities to join in both for kids and adults!!!

We had an unforgettable holiday here and will be returning again soon!!

A great value Hotel with excellent food and beautiful grounds. Rooms are very quiet at night and air con is reasonably quiet and functions well.

Pools can be crowded but there is loads of room on the beach. You have to get your towels on the beach by 7 at the latest to secure a front pod, and thats to beat the other brits not anyone else.

In response to one or two negative comments about the staff I think they are excellent in all respects and saw no evidence of poor manners in the two visits I have made. As for the changing of coins I was asked but only on our penultimate day and was happy to oblige. The coins are useful for the plane home and cannot be used by the egyptian staff or changed into Egyptian currency.
The shared tipping system works well leading to the staff being genuinely freindly and not smarming over you in hope of a tip which is the case in other hotels in the area I have stayed at.
Drinks in glasses are fine, those in plastic at the beach less so.
The cocktails do vary quite a lot in the quality if the mix but this is Sharm, not some poncy London cocktail bar!

Room Tip: Just try and avoid the activity pool but its not such a big deal.

second visit to this hotel ,its worth paying the little bit extra for the sea view appartments as the views are tremendous and the rooms are in a quiet part of the complex .we camped on the beach every day as it was 42 when we were3 there and on the front row you get some breeze . agree with everyones write up about the hotel etc , so here are a few things with regards to some of the things going on , the man with the camel on the beach will coax you on it free of charge with photos etc ,but we were told its 40 quid to get off (and he can remember faces )
someone complained about the waiters at breakfast and the case guys who load you up at the end hankering to change money to extract more tips , this is not the case ,they can only take notes to the bank ,so if you can do them 20 quid for coins, it helps them tremendously ,and you can soon ditch it on the plane when you buy your Thomson cardboard bacon roll,as they are always begging for change . have been to Egypt several times ,this was the first time I encountered the squits , after suffering all day went to see the doctor who put me on a drip , the cure was instant ,but on coming home ,did a bit of internet searching and found you could have got them from a chemist for about 4 quid.; if it happened to me again I would take dioralyte and go the chemist for the following 1 --rancif 2--abimol 3--streptoquin 4 domperidone rather than pay the 65 quid insurance excess plus god knows what he added to the insurance company.--would I go there again ---a big fat yes ---finally why do Russians sound so angry when they speak !!!!!!

im just going to agree with all the previous 5/5 reviews as ill just be repeating them!for what we paid(500 for 10 days)this is well worth triple that!looked at prices next yr and thanks to our reviews the prices has gone through the roof.the only thing which spoil the hotel and holiday is the presence of the russian and ukraine people!they pay half through tui and treat the place as such.they are arrogant, rude, ill mannerd and horrible people!even the staff when i asked why the spoke to them like dirt said they think they are just poor animals!!worst place is at the main dinner sitting.if they sit next to you its a shock.no please or thank you to the staff.just ignore them or just carry on talking.even when a waiter brought a drink they asked for the woman just ignored him when asked if this was what she wanted!!open the door and as you are about to walk through they just push n walk straight through you"!the hotel would b ideal and perfect if tui stopped these people coming!!i heard a hotel next door in june will be having a british meal times only as for these proplems!!egyptians love us for our manners and tips!!needless to say the russians dont leave any tips.other germans seemed ok.this is known as a german hotel.told by the locals.ps met some really nice couples which u need to make it a great holiday.very hot.reached 100f by 1100am n would be too hot for many in june-september!im always ill but not here and no mozi bites except my partner who got them bad even with deet on!if go out of hotel just be careful.all cars stop and say they are taxis!ignore them.was goin on trips but tui prices a rip off and just too hot!ala carte restaurants fantastic.everyone wanting to go everynight if possible.relaxing n great food and service.hopefully go back but no later than 1st may as thats when them rude n ignorant people really start to arrive!!

My partner and I had a great week at his hotel. The food was excellent, lots of choice and different theme nights in the main restaurant each evening made it even more varied. Having the extra advantage of being able to eat once at each of the 3 al la carte restaurants during the week for free was a real bonus. These had to be booked a day in advance at the hotel office. There was a queue in the mornings before it opened at 9am, but we were always able to get a place by going a little later once the queue had gone down.
The Thai restaurant made amazing chicken fajitas at lunch times.
The room was spacious (a junior suite) and kept spotlessly clean, with fresh towels and the fridge stocked up daily. The hotel write up didn't mention tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but ours did.
The cleaner left 3 lovely towel displays on our bed during the week, which was a nice touch.
There was always somewhere to have a bite to eat and a drink during the day/evening. It was nice to have waiter service on the beach.
The beach was clean and there were plenty of sun loungers spare in late April. The privacy fences were a great idea.
We had perfect weather, around 28/30c. In the mornings it was always windy, but a very warm wind which made it feel really comfortable to sunbathe.
The gardens are a real feature of this hotel. Everywhere we walked it was really well kept.
The entertainment was good and the staff were all exceptionally helpful and friendly.
There was a bus service directly from the hotel, which took you into Naama bay (with it's many shops) and the old market for shopping. Be prepared to be harassed, it is a pain.
We went on the trip flying to Cairo. We booked with the agents along the sea front as it was a lot cheaper than with our tour operator. It was called Sea Safari. They looked after us very well and the tour guide we had was very professional. It was a long day, Make sure you book a take out breakfast with the hotel the day before you travel. We hadn't realised we could do this and arrived back to the resort too late for dinner that evening, due to an accident in Cairo and the roads being even more chaotic than normal.
The Egyptian museum was very interesting as were the pyramids. Again the people harassing us everywhere we went spoiled things slightly.
We stayed in the month that the WiFi was being set up over the whole hotel. As it was a trial period we could collect a log in no each day from the hotel reception, which gave us 2 hours free internet in our rooms. (which took the hassle out of having to go to a WiFi spot with everyone else) I believe from June this will be available throughout the hotel, but will have to be paid for.
Really can't think of anything negative to say about our stay here.

We stayed here 17th April 2013 for a week and it was just what we wanted. The transfer time was 15 mins, the hotel was really nice, spotless, great pool and entertainments areas, all the staff were friendly, happy and couldn't do enough for you. There were plenty of good quality sunbeds and shade, a separate 'quiet' pool area, as the main pool has a resident DJ. Lot's of activities if you wanted them. The food was the best we have ever had in an all inclusive and we thought very good quality and choice for Egypt. We stayed in a suite, it was great having a bit more space and did not cost us that much more. We have never stayed anywhere that we would go back to again, but for a week crashing out the Club Magic ticked all the boxes and we would return.

Room Tip: Up grade to a suite, it doesn't cost that much more.
