“It's Magic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 20, 2012

I booked this holiday as a surprise for my wife and arrived within three days of telling her of the trip (24/11/2012).
We have been too Egypt twice before and have stayed at the same hotel before so we knew roughly what to expect, and we weren't disappointed.

The staff are superb and really friendly and cannot do enough for you, the food is freshly prepared and the evening meals are themed and are superbly organised.

Our room (19123) was large with a massive double bed and a very large private balcony overlooking the fantastic gardens, the only negative to the room was the lack of a main central ceiling light ,this meant that you had to rely on bed side lights for main lighting in the room along with one up-lighter ,leaving the room a little bit gloomy, having said that we were never in the room during the day so it didn't effect us too much.

We had a 3 mile walk most days down the paved walkway along the front, and really enjoyed the views along the way.

The diving and snorkeling from the hotels private jetty is superb ,and i spent a lot of time making use of this facility.

The best exchange rate I could find was in the hotel and the machine was quite easy too use but wasn't working on a couple of occasions, but there are 4 other banks within 5 minuets walk of the hotel any way.

We both loved this break and will be returning again.......

We stopped here in September and did our open water diver course. The hotel was clean and tidy just rooms a little dated as others have said but this did not detract from our holiday. Food was very good service was very good staff very helpful, the rooms clean but a little tired. All inclusive was very good value with no restrictions. Swimming pools were great and the guys at the dive centre very helpful special thanks to Issa. It is not very often I would go back to the same place but I would certainly return here as we had a great time

We recently stayed here and must admit the staff could not be faulted, the food was really good and you were spoilt for choice. There was a different theme every night. We didn,t really watch the entertainment outside as we preffered to sit inside but we still saw what was on and it seemed really good. I suppose you could say the decor in the rooms needed a bit of updating but you couldnt fault the size of the rooms especially the beds which we found very comfortable. The only downside i could say was that there wasn't a heated pool which you really needed at that time of year, not many people braved the water!! The beach was lovely with plenty of sun beds and even wind breakers to keep you cosy. The range of free cocktails was second to none and i might add very potent!! Iwould definitely reccommend this hotel for a nice relaxing holiday.

Room Tip: The rooms further from reception are very quiet

JuSharm withst returned from 11 days at this hotel for our fourth stay in Sharm, extremly friendly staff, very clean, food variety at all times.Caution this is on the flight path out of Sharm with frequent takeoffs, some morning's early morning call at 3 oclock.

This would be the same for all other surrounding hotels, the food here I would say is commenable for its varirty, the Al Carte restuarants easy to book,no delays, although guests who had been there at busier time stalked of 20 minute ques. The Bari Restaurant worthy of speical mention sea food, the Sea Bass out of this world.

We had lunch every at the My Thai restuarant where fodd was super, can really recommend Chicken Fajita's quality of food above Reef Bay Oasis which we had stayed on previous 3 occassions at Sharm.

Hotel had a schedule of events which it did not deviate from ,which is my only complaint .At this time of year with dusk at 5 oclock, everything should have started 90 minutes earlier compared to the lighter summer evenings .

We have just returned from a visit to club magic life 9th to 16th December 2012. Wow! Superb! We have had the most fabulous holiday and are already planning a return visit next year. We stayed in room 21323 and this room overlooked the relax pool. The room was spacious, clean had a good sized balcony and a fantastic power shower, the room was cleaned daily and we cannot fault it at all. Resort is clean, tidy and gardens are well kept. Food is above average with plenty of choice (we think it would be very hard to not find something to eat of your choice or taste), cooking stations in the main restaurant offer freshly cooked food if you do not want to eat from the dishes which are being kept hot (over the week we witnessed these dishes being replaced after a certain period of time and the food in these was taken away and not transferred!). The three other restaurants are all fabulous too, well worth a visit during your stay and included in your all inclusive costs - no hidden charges. Staff - friendly, helpful, polite and nothing was too much trouble! Drinks - extensive cocktails list, good choice of different types of coffees and teas, good choice of soft drinks and there was never a shortage of bottled water. Fridge in room is restocked daily with bottled water, pepsi and fizzy orange - no extra charges for these items. Club Magic Life is brilliant if you are looking for a holiday which is hassle free with no hidden costs and where staff cannot do enough for you then this is the place to stay! Absolutely superb!!!!

Room Tip: Personally would not want to stay on ground floor level but only as I like privacy and would not wan...

Just returned from a two week stay in this hotel, and I must say it didn't disappoint. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and we were not to far away from the beach or the pool. The only gripe is that the music round the pool was too loud and could be turned down a few notches.
There is an alternative pool, called the relax pool, where you could hear a pin drop, but you need to be up very early to get a sun bed.
The selection of food was wonderful and plenty to go at. Something for everyone.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and would go out of their way to get anything for you.
There is a kiddies club which is very good. Whenever we saw them with the staff they seemed to be having a really good time.
This was our first visit and we would most certainly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed for 10 nights in a top floor Junior Suite and had a great time. The Hotel has many pluses-well kept grounds, no wristbands, plenty of choice for sunbathing (busy activity pool with the most pointless swim-up bar ever invented, relax chill out pool or the beach with benefit of breeze to cool you and handy windbreakers) Food is overall good. The buffet is never going to win any awards for quality but it was fine with plenty of variety and choice. You can eat at each of the 3 specialist restaurants once per week. You book these the day before near reception and we were there 9am to book. Didn't experience any problems and got the restaurants we wanted. Our favourite was Sofra Egyptian but Mai Thai also good. The service throughout Hotel was up there with one of the most exclusive Hotels in Dubai we stayed at earlier this year. Tipping is not forced on you as there's boxes to put tips in.
The only disappointing things were the shambolic internet that was only available near main reception area. You had to collect new voucher every day which was a pain. The alternative was a few internet stations available near reception. However, these (and the wifi) were so slow, it would have been quicker to fly home and access your emails from home ! The other annoying thing was smoking in all the restaurants morning, noon and night. This is partly the guests fault as many could not care less if other guests food is spoilt by the waft of cigarettes drifting through the restaurants. However, if people can survive 6 hour flight without cigarettes, surely they can refrain from spoiling other people's meals for 1 hour. Why can't Hotel as compromise introduce a smoking area ? The final thing that I felt was bad was the Hotel not enforcing the topless policy. You're in a Muslim country so should respect their beliefs and customs. Saw a few people flouting the custom around the pool and beach all week.
Overall, the Hotel is a good 4* standard. It's fraying at the edges in places but if you want to save £100+ a week compared to Sensatori or Reef Oasis, you won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: Sissi tea room well worth a visit.
