I have been to Sharm several times before and stayed in villas - but Villa Sharm is the most relaxing, spacious with all the mod cons you could ask for. The Villas pool is without doubt the biggest and best i have experienced. Divided into 3 sections its great for a good swim or simply sitting /laying in an cooling down.
Spacious accommodation - this villa is more like a boutique hotel. Decor is minamilist - with the best fitted kitchen - with everything you could require. Esecially like the filtered water system - which was great bonus.
A 5 minute taxi ride takes you to Soho square and 10 minutes to Nabq with the well stocked Metro supermarket.
Villa Sharm has a great barebeque area which we used 3 x in our 7 night stay.
We had a problem with air conditioning in one bedroom but this was fixed within 24 hours.
The fantastic film server was a real added bonus, especially as the TV system was not functioning properly. (Probably due to the reviewers lack of technical knowledge). I am sure when it is all up and running - the entertainment system will be second to non.
We were quite concerned about the location of the villa being so close to the airport (10 minute taxi ride) but there was no airport noise whatsoever. The villa is not on the flight path. However, it is so close to the beach - across the street. Soho Square, Nama Bay and Nabq are just taxi rides away.
I have stayed in a villia in the Ritz Carleton - but Villa Sharm is far more spacious with better facilities and amenities.
I will be recommending Villa Sharm to everyone who asks about where to stay in Sharm.
We are looking to return in April/May or June next year.
