“Nice holiday! Shame about the kids club”

This hotel is fun..... Food, entertainment, rooms are all nice! The reason i chose to stay at this hotel is because it had a kids club, if you leave your kids at the kids club then you have to check up on them every half hour because they only have 1 worker so i did not get to have any meeee time! I will not return to this hotel only for this reason.

We have just recently visited Sharm El Sheikh and enjoyed our holiday but mainly because of the location rather than the basics that the hotel has to offer.

Location: fantastic and a few minutes walk to the centre of Naama Bay.
Beach: Easy access to the beach via the sister hotel and easy to get beds as the beach area of the Hilton is much larger than all other hotels.

Rooms: Rooms, although offering the basic amenities, are very dated and require updating. They are generous in terms of the space but the bathrooms specifically need updating.

Food: very poor and even more so considering we are vegetarians. I guess there was always something vegetarian available but you would expect more from a Hilton brand hotel. In line with other reviews, it is more catered towards Russians and there is more emphasis on quantity of options rather than quality. The F&B manager was helpful in trying to arrange alternative options but the chefs could have done much better. All in all, the food was some of the worst I have had on such a holiday. Thank goodness we were in close proximity to Naama Bay so we could eat out on a few days even though we went for the all inc option.

Pools: they have several pools and some of which were heated. These were a great asset to the hotel.

I think there is less emphasis on food and rooms and although it has been highlighted by various reviewers, you only understand when you are actually there. I think this hotel is possibly a 3 star and definitely does not deserve its current rating. Main pros were location, beach and pools.

Room Tip: Rooms are very dated so am not sure I can offer any tips other than to pick other hotels

We stayed in this Hotel in November 2012, and were very disappointed.
It is NOT a five star Hotel!!!! It might pass as a tired three star. While the room was cleaned thoroughly every day, we had to get the room fumigated each day to kill the misquito's which appeared to be coming in through the air conditioning. Unfortunately we did not know to do this before we got very badly bitten.
The food was from very poor to disgusting. The service was very poor to begin with, before we found out that if you gave them 50 Egyptian pounds (about £6) you could get a very good service. We were all inclusive, but to get served required a few tips.
We stayed in a five star hotel in Lanzorate in April, and the differance like night and day.
This was our first visit to Egypt and will be our last one for sure!!!!!!!!!!

It`s a very nice hotel, but in wintertime only a few of the pool`s are heated, and the other ones are VERY very cold.
And don`t pay for all inclusiv, it is not worth the money.
Ice for the kids is only for 1 hour, the food are not realy good, but the staf are just great.
In the evning we went out every night, did only eat one time at the hotel, that was enough.
but breakfast was ok.
The area is very nice, well-maintained, good service at the pool`s, so realy, the only bad thing was the food.

Myself and my wife Aqsa had a memorable stay at the hotel, from the pick up from the airport, to the nice room being allocated to us at check in looking over the heated pool, to the lovely breakfast, to check out and dropping off to airport.. overall we were very happy with the service provided by the hotel staff.... it really felt like a home away from home :)

We would like to give special mention to the following who were very helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. Ahmed Hassan Assistant front desk manager who was helpful when there was any problem, Adel the housekeeper for our room to always making it lovely and surprising us with the decoration of the room, to the service provided at breakfast by Abd El Naby Ahmed 1st Commis and Mohammed Ramdam 1st Commis... and finally to the room service staff for firstly giving us a surprise as soon as we walked into the room with a cake saying congrats on our wedding, and every other day leaving cakes, sweets

Thank you again we had a lovely and memorable honeymoon stay at the hotel!!!

Great staff, friendly and helpful, however that is just about it. The rooms are spacious and cleaned thoroughly although looking a bit tired specially the bathroom. Location is good not far from the beach and no real issue to cross the road. Food was very disappointing I supposed it is a bit difficult to cater for such large numbers, no great bread choice at breakfast time, salty mains and horrendous pastries, always fruit on offer although having melon at breakfast lunch & diner could get a bit tiresome. Did not think much of the food on offer at the Mexican, the Lebanese was a shade better. Sorry Hilton we will not be going back neither will we be recommend the Sharms Dream.

Room Tip: It is a very large resort, I found rooms near the reception/dining area more suitable.

We have just returned from The Hilton Sharms Dreams it was our 18th visit and yes we will be returning again and again..
We would like to thank all the staff for their excellent customer service from housekeeping to Le Jardin (Ahmed and Redda) our very good friends who help run the restaurant. The Carbi bar staff who kept a clean and very efficient bar! Casa Sharm (the italian restaurant) was very good and Mohammed was great he entertained served and never stopped smiling no matter how busy he was.
Staying at The Hilton Sharm Dreams is like our second home with our extended family who make us feel unbelievably special from start the start of holiday until we go home.
I would lke to thank Magdy Metwally and Yasser Kamal for once again making our holiday as always amazing.

see you all next year and may I wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a very prosperous New Year
