This hotel is great, we went on an all inclusive holiday in September 2012 and we absolutely loved it.

The staff are absolutely superb they cannot do enough for you and weight on you hand and foot all day long, and go to the extra mile if you give them a friendly tip throughout the week.

Our room was stunning, we stayed in a swim up room which was great, in the afternoons we would retreat here it was very peaceful.

The food was great, lots of of choice throughout the day and there was always a theme in the evening buffet. And of course you get to enjoy the luxury of eating in one of the cusine restaurants two nights during your stay which was a lovely change to have table service.

The location is great, brilliant for snorkelling and walks along the beach.

Overall a greta holiday!

just returned from a week in sensatori sharm el sheikh , we booked a family sea view room with an outside jacuzzi ,the first thing i would warn is that there is no privacy as where the jaccuzzi is positioned it is not screened off from passing holiday makers , and is also not screened off between rooms other than a small wall and fence made up of slatted fencing with three inch gaps ,if i would of known this when i booked it i would not have taken this room , as i would of booked a room in the adults only wing .The complex is very well looked after with beautifull gardens and swimming pools , oh yes the swimming pools !! make sure you are on you bed by 8 am or you will not get a bed by the pools , but fear not, and trust me , the beach is far better ,lovely breeze and a fabulous waiter service every 5 mins . on the private beach there are plenty of comfy beds and fluffy towels, the red sea is crystal clear and at the end of the jetty an abundance of tropical fish awaits anyone who wants to snorkel and see this underwater wonderland in all its glory, this hotel has its own dive school on the beach and offers beginners free trial dives or your full padi course for about £300 inc all you dives and equipment etc etc .
If its a lovely square for shopping then right next door to this hotel complex is a traditional egyptian selection of gift and craft shops with a great egyptian restaurant on the corner which you can dine for two for abot £34 inc your wines etc etc .
back to the hotel now ,one of the issues i have is with the dinning arrangements ,for four days running i could not book one of the specialist restaurants such as the italian and the egyptian as they were always booked up solid , we did ask direct at the reception desk but again no luck , so it was back to the fountains restaurant which was the main buffet type one, and whilst there was plenty of choice it did feel like you were required to eat up as quickly as one can and out you go son !!! , everywhere else in the hotel i can not fault ,the entertainment was very good with various broadway shows or an intimate piano bar to choose from , how would i rate this so called 5 star hotel 7 /10 my tip if you are a couple is to book a sea view room in the adult only section .

Room Tip: book a sea view room in the adults only

After an amazing holiday to sensatori Mexico we were champing at the bit to go to sensatori sharm.
Positives were as follows:
Rooms amazing - we were in block 1 and had a whirlpool on the balcony which was great. Cleanliness was fantastic.
Reception - we asked to change rooms and they couldn't do enough to help.
Food : the Asian pay extra restaurants were amazing but were quite pricy.
Negatives : food. Bit bland and unexciting apart from fountain restaurant most of the time and Tiran restaurant in the evening. No real Egyptian cuisine evident which is such a shame. Italian awful - full of people eating bland food to help with tummy upsets. The stone grill is awful - you have to pay extra to get a lump of steak on a hot plate you effectively cook yourself. The table next to us were ill for 2 days after eating there.
Drinks waiter on beach : this was really annoying. Just because we didn't tip all the time we were just ignored and had to get nasty to get drinks. The waiter only bothered with continual tippers. On the other hand the waiters in the reception bar were amazing and we tipped them handsomely at the end.

At sensatori Mexico all drinks / room service / everything was included in price. We paid nearly £4k for 2 weeks for egypt and object to having to pay ALOT extra to have a decent meal.

It was an ok holiday but won't be returning. My advice would be get yourself to sensatori Mexico as it was so much better.

What a great feeling we had when we arrived at the Sensatori Hotel SHARM el sheik
Welcoming , open friendly staff
So many options of room types available
Pools for young children , families and adult only too.
Free wifi in the lobby area so if you have a iPad or want Internet go there
Beach was so nice warm , fish by your feet as you enter the sea.
Walk along the jetty and the coral and fish are amazing.
Food there are lots of choices from different countries .. There's always something you will like
There are also other restaurants you can go to but you need to book in advance . We didn't get the opportunity but the food in the food hall was fab.
I would recommend the hotel to anyone absolutely fabulous break
Well worth Wendy penny
Thank you Sensatori :)

We have just returned from an Easter break at the Sensatori hotel and we both feel relaxed and had a great time. We booked a superior room in the adult section which was spacious and decorated in a modern style. Bathrobes and slippers were provided and a bottle of water was left in the room every day. The bed was huge and the quality of bedding was very good. We had a sea/pool view and a lovely balcony which we enjoyed relaxing on at the end of a hard day's sunbathing!! I was disappointed with the finish in the bathroom, grouting was ugly, tiles uneven and the way the tiles were cut around the taps and fittings were uneven and again, ugly. When the hotel is advertised as five star, the finish should be perfect.
The gentlemen who clean the rooms do an amazing job, they were all so friendly and very hardworking.
We tried all the 'all inclusive' restaurants and enjoyed them all. The Tiran was lovely as it is located on the beach, the evening we went, it was quiet and the food was great. The Italian was probably our favourite, good quality food and service. The buffet restaurant was great, it is separated into a family section and an adult section (to the left). During breakfast, lunch and dinner there was an array of choices, I am a vegetarian and the selection was superb. There was a range of cooking stations and always a fantastic selection of breads and salads. There was a very limited selection of fruits available at breakfast, with more of a focus on hot foods and sweet pastries and cakes. As you enter each restaurant you are asked to sanitise your hands with gel, all the restaurants were spotlessly clean and the food was kept hot/cold and I was very impressed at the standard of cleanliness.
One issue that annoyed me about the hotel was the restaurant reservation system. We were told on check in that you reserved a restaurant by using the machines in the reception area. We arrived on Monday evening, on Tuesday afternoon I went to use the machine to book a restaurant but we were unable to book for that evening or Wednesday evening and there was only one reservation left for the middle eastern restaurant for 8.15pm on the Thursday. In order to book the other restaurants for the rest of the holiday I needed to be at the machine at 9.30am to wait to book at 10am. I didn't want to spend my time standing in a queue, but this was the only way to ensure we ate at the restaurants we wanted to in the last four evenings of our holiday. By about 9.45am there were large queues building at each machine, this system certainly needs modifying.
We found that across the hotel the standard of service was excellent. The waiters in the bars and restaurants were friendly and courteous. We enjoyed a pre-dinner drink (and post!!) in the
Piano Bar which was elegantly decorated and relaxed. We attended some of the evening entertainment shows and they were impressive.
As we were in the adult section, we used the beach near our room which was quiet and enjoyed sunbathing on the double sunbeds with thick mattresses and good quality pool towels. On the beach or by the pool, waiters regularly came to take our drink orders, great service. Don't forget to take insect repellant, we forgot and my husband had nasty mosquito bites on his arm after the first evening. When visited the shops at the end of the resort and it was expensive, so buy before you go!! We discovered the next day that in the Guest Services room there are big boxes full if insect repellent and spare sun cream left by guests if you need to use them! So if you do forget, go there instead of visiting the shops! At the start of the holidays I visited the hotel Spa and it was fantastic! I booked a back massage and a foot massage....bliss, I would definitely recommend a visit.
The weather was fantastic, temperatures were in the 30's each day, lovely breeze, blue skies and cool evenings, perfect!
Overall, a great holiday and lovely to see the sun after the cold weather we've had.

This was one of the best holidays I have ever been on. The staff at Sensatori could not do enough to make our stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible! The food was lovely and we had no problems booking into restaurants. Only downside was the Maharaba restaurant, this should be the best, yet is lacking!! Beachfront, swim up room was definitely worth it, beautiful rooms and views were amazing. My only regret is we could only go for 1 week and not 2!!!

Room Tip: Swim up beach front rooms are definitely worth the little extra charge!

I have been to Sharm before and didn’t really stay in the best hotel so thought we would splash out after seeing this hotel on the Thompson advert. Well it’s one of the best hotels I have been to and we can’t wait to go back already. We stayed the first week of March and had really nice weather was round 30 degrees every day and had a slight breeze which really helped when the sun is too hot. We had a sea view Jacuzzi room which I would recommend we were room 1304 on the top floor. We had e-mailed the hotel and requested one of the top floor rooms as they are a bit more private and that’s what we got. We were welcome at the airport by a small shuttle bus just for Sensatori guests and were quickly on our way to the hotel it was a very quick and smooth check in whilst drinking a cocktail.
We were then shown to our room which was just what we expected and more. The bathroom was lovely with mood lighting in the bathtub and it had speakers in there so you can hear the TV or music from the bedroom. The room was a really good size and we had a huge bed. It was very busy round the pool we stayed at the main pool everyday but people would get up very early to put their towels down which was annoying as some people wouldn’t even use them till the afternoon. The main pool is heated and the others are all very cold but I’m sure if you were going peak season this wouldn’t be a problem. I agree with the the other reviews that the booking system is awful. We would try and book in advance and only get 9pm slots. We did eat in them all and didn’t mind eating late as we would then go on for cocktails and watch the shows which were all really good. The buffet restaurant was really good lots of choice.
We found it best to tip when wanting drinks as they would always come back to you straight away. But the money is really dirty so make sure to wash your hands as a lot of people get ill from it, along with my partner .. luckily on the last day. The only think we thought was really bad was the entertainment staff. One day we see them out two goals either side of the pool stood there for 10 minutes or so then picked them up and walked off. It seems that they don’t advertise the entertainment enough they could have gone round to people tell them what they were doing to see if they want to join in but they didn’t. Anyway apart from that it was the best holiday and we are looking to go back at the end of the year or maybe try the Mexico resort!

Room Tip: top floor sea view Jacuzzi room
