This was made out to be thee place to go ,having been to magic life before and had a fantastic time re food and service excellent only downfall was the decor was a bit tired, so we thought we would try sensatori after reading about it and listening to others, although initially it looks good very modern , everything else was a let down.not enough sunbeds at the beach, food was very ordinary apart from the Italian which was excellent but you had to book, the waiters weren't very attentive and in no hurry to serve you drinks and on that part very limited choice, the place had a very cold atmosphere and not a good layout for night entertainment which was also poor .we went along to jaz mirabel beach to meet up with our daughter and the whole ambience was much better for a lot less money and they were having steak and prawns for dinner something we never saw.

Stayed here after the Red Sea cruise arriving Feb 28th.Booking in was very fast and slick and was then taken on a buggy to our swim up room in the adult section. The room,3141, was south facing so benefited from sun from about 8.30 am until sunset ! The room was very stylish with jacuzzi bath and mood lighting and spotlessly clean. All of the staff were very friendly and could not do enough to help and make you feel welcomed, to the point of bringing drinks to you whilst on your own patio enjoying the swim up room, which I would thoroughly recommend.Food wise the buffet restaurant had a huge range of foods all well cooked and nicely presented. To book a themed restaurant did require an early visit to achieve your choice of time but later sittings ,9pm onwards, were available at pretty much any time. We ate in the Mahaba restaurant and again the food was of a very high standard. The whole hotel and grounds are very very clean and well maintained. We visited with friends and will definitely be returning. A superb holiday in a superb location.P.S. the weather was brilliant.

Room Tip: south facing adult section swim ups are quite private where as sea view ones face on to the promenade.

This was our first trip to Egypt and would say a very pleasant one. Firstly the transfer from the airport to the hotel (Thomson) was seamless and efficient. Only about 20 mins transfer too - which helps. The staff at the Hotel all spoke pretty good English and were always polite and most helpful. The room was spacious and well appointed - though the bath was very narrow (and I am only 11 stone) - the more generous apportioned would struggle!! There was a spacious "theatre" with very good English tribute acts and there was good entertainment in the Piano bar - though it was not too big and if you arrived late, you would not get a seat. We felt the booking system for restaurants was not very efficient however. You had to use your room key as a swipe card to book up to 3 days in advance on one of four booking machines. In order to secure a reasonable eating time (7-30 to 8-30) involved a queue for about half an hour each day at 10am - Take a book and be prepared for a wait! That said, there is a common restaurant (the Fountain) which you could walk in at any time lunch or dinner time, but this was more of a buffet style and not as good as the Italian a la Carte for example. The beaches had good loungers with decent mattress's and plenty of space to move your bed around to the moving sun. Despite our room being in the family area it was quite quiet though there are adult areas with no children, both from a room and pool perspective. The drinks were good quality and a plus point was that the water was always bottled and therefore fresh, reducing the chances of tummy troubles. Wi-fi expensive in the rooms and very slow in the public areas - so make sure you down load all you need before you go!! We went the end of February and the temperature was in the late 20's every day. Blue sky every day, though a couple of quite windy days - but still hot in the sun. Having been to 5 star resorts in the Canaries, I would say this is more of a 4 star hotel. At times the cleanliness of the loos and the poor finishing of bathroom fittings and sealants let it down. However, the measure of a good hotel is if you would return and we certainly would do. Hope this helps the would be visitors.

Just spent 2 weeks in adult section of Sensatori Hotel and grounds were immaculate. Room was very spacious, very comfortable and had superb views. Complimentary toiletries, bathrobes and slippers, bottled water daily and flat screen tv with wide choice of channels plus tea and coffee making facilities. Never had any problems getting sunbeds and although a little chilly the adult pool was refreshing. We ate in all the restaurants and drank in all the bars. We mostly ate in the Fountain where the quality, choice and presentation of the food was excellent. Evenings were spent between the Piano Bar and the Lobby Bar - both we're very comfortable, occasionally a little too busy and rather noisy due to the number of small children. Every member of staff, from arrival to departure, was professional, helpful and friendly - nothing was ever a problem. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning.

Arrived at room 2115 on 24/02/2013,we were shown to our room by a member of staff,he put the card access key in the lock but couldn't open the door.He borrowed the mastercard pass from the cleaner to open the door.He told us to go to reception about 400 metres away to get another card, not 5 star service.Obtained new card from reception later in the evening. When we tried it in the early hours it wouldn't open the door even the security man tried to open door to no avail. He organised reception to open the door with master key.We obtained a 3rd card the following morning.

We then had trouble with the safe as this was faulty and replaced after 2 attempts by a member of staff

A couple of days later we found 4 workmen on the balcony after returning from breakfast No Notice was given about this maintenance work.

The swim up pool by the balcony did not have tiles but a paper covering over concrete, just a tatty mess.
There were not enough chairs and tables in public areas, now for the restaurants.

FOUNTAIN VIEW--REMINDS ME OF A WORKS CANTEEN
TIRAN DINER--THE WORST STEAK I'VE EVER HAD
MARHABA--LUKE WARM FOOD
CASA BIANCA--TOP NOTCH 5 STAR ALL THE WAY..

Room Tip: Beach front rooms are best not 2115
