Visited this hotel at the end of June & cannot express enough how much we enjoyed it. My husband, 2 daughters & I spent 2 weeks there & it wasn't enough! My youngest daughter suffers from a nut & sesame allergy which is fatal & they couldn't have taken more care of her. The Head Chef personally escorted her each day around the vast array of food on offer & couldn't have been nicer. On the one occasion when she could not make it down to dinner, the restaurant staff asked where she was & cooked her a 'special' meal & took it to her room with no extra charge! What service! On the last day my eldest daughter needed medical assistance & we visited the doctor's surgery in the hotel. We handed over our travel insurance, they treated her immediately (with a drip - & it was not a tummy bug!) we paid our insurance excess & that was that. We will all be going back, hopefully later this year for 2 of us. If I had to make one criticism, the floor surfaces in the outdoor common areas are rather shiny and slippery, but that was the only very small complaint we could find! The entertainment was of a very high standard with a dedicated team & acts flown in.

Room Tip: Block 4 was well situated & quiet We noticed that the swim up rooms are not connected to the la...

we went to sensatori for our honeymoon. upon arrival we were greeted with towels and cold drinks which was lovely. after check in we were taken to our room in block one (room 1203) which was a double room with a whirlpool on the balcony, overlooking the beach. we were taken back to the fountain view restaurant where we were greeted warmly and shown to a table. the food was sensational with so much choice. they have freshly cooked foods, which were all hot and delicious. they also have stations where you can create your own meal, such as the pasta station. we went back to the room to change and then proceeded to the piano bar to have a drink before bed. the waiter service was amazingly quick and friendly.
the next morning we found sunbeds on the beach. my husband went off to snorkel off the end of the jetty which was amazing. the waiter service on the beach again was quick and friendly.
the majority of the trip was spend sunbathing by the pool. the waiter service was not as good, but the bar staff were very friendly and had no issues with you going to the bar to ask for drinks, which didnt put me out at all.
ahmed in the piano bar was amazingly kind and attentive and he served us for most of our trip. he always looked after us and we made a really good friendship with him.
we ate at the teppenyaki on our last night which we received a 10% discount for as it was our honeymoon. this was sensational and such a good experience.
also included in our honeymoon package was breakfast and a dinner in our room, which was sensational; and a discount at the spa. we chose a couples massage which was fantastic with very well trained masseurs, overlooking the beach. very worth the money!
we ate at the Marhaba, Tiran and the italian restaurant. i liked all of them but my husband is fussy and we found a great liking for the Tiran that served Mexican/ American dinners.
overall i had a fantastic honeymoon, with only a small bout of sickness on my husbands behalf.

i would definitely go there again in a heart beat. thank-you to ahmed and little mo in the reception bar, and to abs from the family pool. they made our stay so special

Room Tip: we had a balcony whirlpool overlooking the beach, room 1203

My husband I returned from the Sensatori last Friday, 26th October. Had gone with an open mind, having followed all reviews since we booked in April, and were looking forward to it.
First impression - we arrived at 9.30pm in the dark - was really good. Reception was lit up and looked really elegant. Down the steps, past the illuminated fountain - fantastic. We were thrilled with our choice. Greeted warmly in the restaurant, and attended to by Ahmed, who made sure we had everything we needed. Opted for a pasta dish from the 'prepared whilst you wait' section - delicious. As we left the restaurant we were met by a young man with a golf trolley who whisked us off to our room - 3235 in the adult only block - and gave us a potted guide to the hotel on our way. The room was as we expected - just like the photos - and the bed was big and comfy. As it was dark we couldn't see our view, but at daylight we saw the adult pool, the expanse of sea, and Tiran Island. Probably as good a view as any from the hotel.
Our first day was great. We had breakfast - fine, lots of choice - had a wander around the complex, had a few 'first day' drinks, a swim in the pool and a lie on the beach. Great!
Day two was much the same, only we sat in the bar by the adult block and tried some of Mohamed's excellent cocktails. I have to say his Bloody Mary is a knockout. Really! Abdul tramps up and down the sand all day making sure that everyone has a drink, and provides packets of crisps every half hour or so. We were never kept waiting more than 5-10 minutes, and when you consider Abdul services about 70 yards of beach I think that's pretty good.
Day 3 we were up and out to be collected at 8.20pm for a day of snorkelling. As we waited outside my husband said he felt a bit strange - his hands were tingling and he felt heady. The minibus came on time and we set off around Sharm to pick up our fellow snorkellers.
However, within a few minutes my husband was really unwell. He started sweating profusely, he turned grey and his skin looked waxy, and he had to focus on the floor to avoid being sick. At the first hotel, about 10 minutes away, my husband said he'd have to go back. Anyway, long story short, at the third hotel the tour guide located a taxi, paid the driver, and told him where we were staying. The driver was very kind, stopping on numerous occasions so my husband could get out and throw up (I know), providing him with tissues and bottled water.
As soon as we returned, a member of hotel staff took us to the clinic where the doctor immediately put my husband on a glucose drip into which he put anti-nausea medication, something to alleviate the cramp, pain relief, and an anti-spasmodic - by this time my husband had uncontrollable jerking in his limbs. After an hour or so, he was a much better colour, the spasms had stopped and he wasn't feeling sick. The doctor called our insurers who arranged payment and all was good. Doctor told us to keep our room aerated, and not cooler than 25 degrees, as the illness had been brought on by the Norovirus. Consequently, we turned the air con off, except for short bursts , and opened the windows. There are sanitisers all over the complex which guests are encouraged to use, and we also carry our own, but apparently Norovirus isn't contained by the use of this. Obviously it can prevent contamination by other bacteria.
So Day 4 was much better health-wise, but we couldn't decide what to do. We had paid to upgrade to the adult only section, as we've done summer holidays with our kids for years and fancied a bit of peace. However - and I assume this is because it was half-term - there were children accommodated in our block and around us on the beach. We would have liked to lie on our balcony with a couple of drinks for a few hours, but there were only upright chairs and no sunbeds. Also, the only way to have a drink in your room is to collect it in a paper cup from the bar.
Days 5,6 and 7 we had a wander and sat on the balcony reading. That's it.
The grounds are lovely, the food's alright, the staff are outstanding, but there was something missing for us. We wanted a lazy chill-out, but couldn't find anywhere we wanted to do it.
We weren't expecting 5*, this hotel is probably a good 4*. I wouldn't say bad things about it, but I'm not recommending it either. We won't go again, but I know lots of people make return visits.

Room Tip: Well, our room in the adult only block was lovely, but be aware that we went at half-term and there...

I really don't understand how people can give this place a bad review. Just returned from sensatori last week from our honeymoon and was absolutely delighted with the place!

The room was superb, bed was big enough to fit 4 people in let alone 2! Lovely modern, iPod connecter, mood lighting, English channels and radio on tv. Swim up room was superb for the afternoons when we finished round the pool as we could just lounge on our balcony and jump into the pool to cool off, maybe if these people had paid a bit extra to get a decent room that wouldn't be a problem!

The thing that is annoying me is people complaining about food selection! Being a chef myself all my life I was actually impressed with the variety of food! There is stuff for vegetarians, healthy, gluten free option, not healthy, something for everyone! It doesn't get repetititive, there is enough choice to keep you going, how many times do we eat the same meals at home???? Maybe the people complaining should go back to their Michelin star restaurants they eat in everyday! NOT, Or maybe should I say fish and chips and chicken nuggets and stop moaning!

Yes you have to get up early to get a seat by the pool, and what? At least your up to get the sun which is what you have come away for isn't it? No atmosphere around the pool??? I'm pretty sure when I'm sunbathing and relaxing on my holiday I don't want people hassling me and entertaining me! The only thing you have to worry about is what you want to drink!

This whole hotel was superb, the weather, the lay out, the restaurants, the rooms, the service of the staff who can't do enough for you! Everything does make it 5 stars! Absolutely brilliant. Many thanks to Halman, who sorted out when we wanted to watch a certain match for champions league, he took us to another bar and put it on for us! Top man!

Take no notice of these little niggles that have been posted by the previous people, the while place was beautiful.

We have stayed in 4 other hotels in Sharm and this is the best of them. Great entertainment, really good standard, especially in the Piano Bar, are they talented or what! You name it they sing it. Cheerful staff, always willing to help. Good food and choice of restaurants. The dive centre management team were a bit uninterested, with the exception of Kiwi the dive guide, what a credit to the dive centre. The dive centre will tell you that this is the best local dive site in Sharm, not so in our opinion. The gardens and the hilton Sharks bay were better we thought, but for snorkelling it is very good. It is expensive for Sharm but you do get a lot for it. Just don't get carried away Thomson, there is a limit to what people will pay.
You can't not impressed by this hotel, especially if you have kids. Short transfer time, great views of Tiran island and Sundowners in the Sports bar, FAB!

Excellent venue. Beautiful views. Swim up room fantastic.... staff are sooooo friendly entertaining and helpful. Will certainly return... the service given on arrival was great, a welcome with a cold flannel and refreshments.... yr driven to your room on a golf buggy!.... the beach is right infront of the hotel, with beautiful coral and exotic fish to swim with. The restaurant is good and the food it very tasty. Evening entertainment is good and the piano lounge is a good place to chill with a Sensatori cocktail.........
