Excellent value hotel. Although not Five star by our standards, exceptionally good for Egypt. Rooms are lovely, we upgraded to sea view and were not disappointed, good tea and coffee making facilities and mini bar. Beds are very comfortable and all toiletries are provided. Room boys are great and the towel sculptures amazing.
Food is above average for Egypt, and I think that they do an amazing job, of provided a good standard of food to suit every taste. The fresh pasta is excellent in the buffet.
If you want more than this you will have to try the Ritz Carlton or Savoy and pay the price!!
We had a minor incident in one of the restaurants and the staff and management went way out of their way to make amends, and we were very happy overall.
I would visit this hotel again. BUT if you want haute cuisine - then its not for you. BUT if you want a reasonable hotel with good facilities at a reasonable price then its great.

Room Tip: I would recommend upgrading to a sea view room.

When I Arived in our room the bath room was not cleaned we had dirty towels this wasn't sorted out. But after the first night the room was clean. Then one night our toilet broke and they sorted ot out with in half an hour. All the staff where loverly and helpful. Had a loverly time.

We totally enjoyed our stay in this hotel for a week in April 2013. We went as a family of 4 (2 adults 2 kids) The hotel is laid out beautifully to capitalise on the beautiful sea view. Variety of pools that are set out beautifully with plenty of sun loungers. Kids loved the funicular ride that connects the hotel lobby to the main pool area near the beach. Staff are very friendly, cheerful and hardworking. You see almost the same staff (in the main La Cascade restaurant) from 6 am to 11.30 pm everyday, when do they sleep?! We mostly ate in the La Cascade restaurant. As it is buffet style, there is quite a variety and there is something for everyone. We felt we were fed very well. Quite happy. We tried the Verde Italian Restaurant and Paradise Reef as well which you need to book in advance. We preferred La Cascade as it is buffet. There are many bars to get all inclusive drinks. We enjoyed the cappuccino in Café Shalalat and soft drinks and ice cream in Tipsy Turtle. We booked a sea view room and quite happy with the view of pools and the sea beyond. Room was spacious - two double beds and a sofa bed. Plenty of storage facilities in cup boards and drawers. Bathroom spacious and well presented. Also has a dressing area and a huge cup board with safe to store precious items. Bathroom can be freshened up by re-grouting the tiles. There is a kids club (like a creche) where they do many activities, mine enjoyed going there for swimming and craft. Staff there were quite friendly and welcoming. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Hilton Waterfalls and we thought it was value for money. Would recommend the hotel and would consider re-visiting it ourselves.

stayed here 5may last year, upgraded on arrival there for 3 wks a bit disapointed with the upgrade not quite what we expected..ground floor people walking past your patio area wanted to have breakfast out there ..room was very clean and a good size ,room was cleaned every day to a very good standard ,cleaners very helpful , food in the restaurants is plentyful with a very wide variety ,something for everybody ,the staff are very pleasant and go out of there way to help you ,nothing is a problem ! the bars are very clean with a variety of drinks again staff very helpful you dont have to wait long to get served evan when very busy ! we spent most of our time at the chillax.pool.. no kids .staff at the bar work very hard , very plesant..and again nothing is a problem ..!overall ...a very well run hotel with very friendly staff and management team if there is anything wrong someone will be there to sort it out quickly a blessing on holiday ! this with the weather my wife and i had a great time and guess what where going back in 2 days time 4 may...carnt wait...for anybody going to the waterfalls resort ...enjoy yourselves !

I spent nearly four solid days trying to find the right hotel in Sharm. We are a very busy hard working couple looking for a lovely peaceful relaxing break in the sun and that is definitely what we found at this hotel. I decided to book this hotel because there were so many other good comments here and I felt I needed to add mine because I am Mrs fussy and I worry until I open my hotel room door!. Let me give you a few tips about this hotel, whats good, what to avoid and where to sit!!. On arrival at the airport if you intend wanting to take any trip out of sharm you need the visa - it costs your £13 at the airport. This is for snorkling and Diving. We missed out on a trip because we didnt have the visa!. If you can avoid pre-booking a transfer DO!! Dont make the mistake that we made and catch the coach. book a private transfer to the hotel. It will take you 10 minutes by cab or 1.5 hrs by the coach becuase this hotel is the last one on the line. It will cost you about 15 dollars each way if not. WELL WORTH IT!!. When you arrive pay for the upgrade and get a room in the middle somewhere. We upgraded and we paid about £50 and it was a lovely room room 1414. Air con, towels, water ect everyday. No need to pack beach towels you will be given those everyday. If you want the quieter life everyday sit by the top pool and its fresh water. If you want more of a noisy atmosphere use the one at the bottom. Buts its salty!. Food is ok buffet is included every day but can be a rather the same old and certainly nothing to write home about. It caters more for the Russians sadly. Sorry the hotel is 80% full of them - rude, argy bargy, ill mannored or no mannered! but you soon get used to their ways. Please take a snorkling trip though a must!! go and see 'Hamada' on the beach front he will look after you. It will cost £25 and worth every minute but DONT DRINK THE WATER on the boat - take lots of your own from the room. Turn right out of the hotel and go and buy snorkels for $10 each in the little town there - well worth it otherwise it will cost you $5 every time you want to hire them. There is an amazing jetty at the beach where you will be able to sea the reef and snorkel and see the most amazing fish. Watch out for the mosquitos there are lots and they do bite!. They have a nice spa and you will be sold lots of treatments the day you park yourself looking new and white - buy but only pay half of the brochure price! If you tip the boys around the pools they will look after you and your seat all week!. Book up as early as you arrive the day you want to eat in the italien. Highly recommend paying the extra and getting the 8 course taster!. The drink is fine and the wine and beer is very acceptable. Not fire water as we had last year at another resort. Take your own teabags if you like an english cuppa. There are coffee/tea making facilities in the room. WIFI is expensive but we did a deal on the first day for £50 for 5 devices for the week. For hussle and bussle and fakey t shirts head into Nama Bay but go about 5pm or after dinner when the sun goes down. The old market is ok but a lot dirtier and be prepared to get really really hassled!! SUMMARY - a really lovely, friendly, clean safe hotel. Is it a Five star - no but its definately a four star all day long. We are definitely going back next year. I have never written on this before but I felt if you, like me, are fussy and want reassurance then definitely go here. Its out of the way from the hussle and bussle, you always feel safe and they really do know how to look after you.

Room Tip: Middle of the grounds are better and the right side is quieter becuase the amphitheatre and outside...

Rooms - average
food - below average, inconsistent, Buffet was very repetitive, food was bland.
facilities - fairly good
service - inconsistent, some were very unprofessional and not trained properly, if at all!!
Certain people where extremely helpful and friendly -Anastasia - customer relations, Karem - "Paradise reef", Jemma (popke)- the animation team. Some where exceptionally bad and disrespectful to women especially the bar staff, one in particular - M.Nazeer - after waiting for about 20 minutes for a glass of white wine and then told they had run out of white wine, I asked for cold water and was given almost boiling hot water in a plastic cup! Maybe because I wasn't Russian?! this was one of a few bad occurrences we experienced with different bar staff.
On the whole we did manage to have a good time thanks to the few staff members that were incredibly helpful and friendly. Thanks Anastasia, Jemma, Karam, Ali G(Para sailing).

I would not rate this hotel as a 5 star.

We were regretful to learn that your perception of our resort did not comply with the image of a five-star hotel. The entire team of the Hilton Sharm Waterfalls greatly appreciates any and all comments made by our guests and constantly strive to achieve the highest quality standards possible.

Our executive chef was very concerned to know that we were not able to fulfill your requirements in regards to food offers and that you refer to our food as "below average". We are not entirely sure which of our four restaurants were found repetitive and bland. Our culinary team constantly strives not only to maximize food offers, but to consider diversity of culinary preferences conditioned by the geographical origins, dietary needs, etc.

Our open buffet includes more than 62 items for breakfast, over 34 courses for lunch and about 45 options for dinner. Our unique Premiere Package formula is tailored in a way that gives one the opportunity of choosing between three a la carte restaurants: The fine dining restaurant Verdi Bistro, our authentic Egyptian Bedouin restaurant Shish Bish and our Arabic restaurant Paradise Reef. The romantic dinner venue Four Elements was further established to round the culinary world at the resort yet this venue is not included in the All Inclusive packages.

In the mentioned restaurants we offer more than 50 different courses free of charge, as a part of "all inclusive". Some "additional high quality items" such as lobster, crab meat, jumbo shrimp or beef filet are also listed in our menus and optional.

Of course I have discussed your critique points concerning your experience at the restaurant and bars with the food and beverage service manager and we are sorry for the negative impression you have described. Our team members are usually known as very helpful and caring. I assure you that we continue focusing on our philosophy of servicing each and every guest individually and passionately.

On the other hand, we were glad to know that you found some of our team members exceptionally helpful and friendly. I have passed your positive remarks personally to those team members, whom you have mentioned in your review to praise them for the outstanding work they do.

We stayed at the hotel during the 2013 Easter break and absolutely loved it. The staff were very friendly (especially the Cascade restaurant team). My wife is a vegetarian and the chef was very accomodating in preparing vegetarian dishes for her. We celebrated my daughter's birthday whilst on holiday and the chef made it very special by decorating our table, making a cake and all the staff singing for my daughter. The pool staff were also very helpful. The only small complaints I have are: There were quite a few mosquitoes inspite of the open areas being fumigated twice a day. I would recommend mosquito repellent wrist bands as these were the only effective way of making sure you don't get bites. Secondly, the large fresh water pool is only for adults however, the adults only guests were often using the family pools which made the pool area crowded making it difficult to get sun beds (although the staff tried their best to find them for us). The adults only pool area was never more than half full and the pool was empty most of the time. Finally, the drinks in all inclusive are local alcohol which is not nice at all. The weather, food, staff, activities all made it a great holiday in-spite of the above issues.

Room Tip: Make sure you chose sea view and not garden view.
