Had a great time here the animation team were great especially Gemma who was very friendly and lively and really made our holiday special. The bar and resturant staff were great always willing to help and overall the accomodation was great

I have just come back from a two week stay and Hilton sharm waterfalls resort, and I had an amazing time. The hotel was beautiful I would definately go back. The animation team made the holiday, they were fantastic especially Jemma! Whenever we went out Jemma accompanied me and my friends, she always made sure we was ok and had everything we needed! Whatever we needed or wanted she was there! Going back next year.

A fantastic stay at our first ever 5 star resort. The hotel is designed in a way that if you were lazy enough, you'd never have to actually leave!
It has it's own reef and dive centre for snorkelling and diving, pools galore, spa, gym, kids play area, as well as many different restaurants and bars from a Bedouin styled rooftop terrace bbq looking out at the starry night smoking shisha to a more private romantic beach setting (which was excellent).
Every single one of the staff was extremely helpful and cheerful, all say hello with huge smiles all day long and a special mention for the room cleaners who even made the effort with a bit of oragami with our towels to suprise us after a day by the pool.
Na'ama Bay is only a 10min and £4 taxi ride away for those wishing to explore more of Sharm's nightlife as well and the hotel can organise excursions to other parts of the area and Egypt

After a pretty horrendous experience at check in we were releived that the rest of our holiday passed off smoothly and the hotel and staff were brilliant. About the check in - we had requested early check and recognse it is at the hotels discretion. However what is not acceptable is to be told before hand it will be Ok only to have to wait 4HOURS to get your room. What made it worse was that the night manager on the desk kept on making hourly promises that came and went. It was only when the hotel manager started in the morning and I spoke to him were we allocated a room straight away (within 5 mins). Whats more he upgraded us to a sea view deluxe rooms free of charge so that somehwat evened things out.
Now about the stay - The room we got (1314) was very comfortable and was one of the larger ones at the side of the hotel. It was also very quiet being at the end of the corridor away from the stairs and lifts. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day and the bed was very comfy. The sofa bed though sagged quite a bit. The bathroom is a very decent size and was also very clean. There is a good selection of english TV chanells with something for adults and children.
Your view of food at the hotel will depend on taste. I could not fault the choice or the standard of the food in the main Lacascade restaurant, though my wife who is not a keen meat eater struggled shall we say. The kids also enjoyed the food. At the La cascade restaurant we normally asked the chef for pizza and chips for them in the evening and this was made with no fuss. In the afternoon we normally ate at the Sea Shore restaurant. Menu is limited but standard of food was fine.
There is a good choice of drinks and snacks outside of normall meal times as part of the all inclusive package and when travelling with kids this comes in handy for their healthy appetites.
The one downside to the hotel is the pool areas. From a distance everthing looks fine but on closer inspection it could do with a facelft on things lke grouting, replacing tiles and a lick of paint. This didnt however detract from the overall experience.
Although the hotel is rated as a five star it probaly is closer to a 4 star. Having travelled to Dubai and the far east the difference in the overall service and attention you get is quite obvious. The staff in the main restaurant do try their best and are a credit to their profession but in other areas, reception and pool area, they seem more interested in where their next tip will come from. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and would not hesitate on staying here again if we were visiting sharm.

Room Tip: rooms 1314 was very quite being at the end of a corridor.

when we arrived at our hotel it was about 10:30pm their local time,told we had missed tea but the steak (lationo's)restaurant was still open,great we thought but oh no got their & they informed us you have to phone recpection the day b4 & make a reservation!
anyway onto the main buffet food was more like 3 * but everything else was good..for a 5 star hotel i expect better food than the rubbish that was being served
will i stay here again?no

We were regretful to learn that your perception of our resort did not comply with the image of a five-star hotel. The entire team of the Hilton Sharm Waterfalls team put a lot of effort to maintain the highest standards of service and to let our guests feel most valued and genuinely cared for.

Our Executive Chef was concerned to know that we were not able to fulfill your requirements in regards to variety of food. Our main restaurant La Cascade features 7 different theme events during the evening hours with a large selection of dishes. In addition we offer 3 other restaurants which are included in the premier all inclusive package. Nevertheless I have urged the kitchen equipped to fine-tune our seasoning philosophy. In addition our Executive chef Ayman ElSawy held a meeting with his Sous chefs and main kitchen chefs to roll up the sleeves more and to let the creative mind come to its full potential.

Our main restaurant serves dinner from 18:30 until 22:00. Late snacks are available at Latinos from 22:30 until midnight and this is included to our Premiere Package conception.

We will continue with full power and motivation to strive for excellence - hopefully, you will notice a difference during your next stay. Arrived back last night after seven nights at the Hilton Waterfalls Hotel.

When we all are looking to book a holiday nowadays we almost automatically check tripadvisor reviews and before we went we did just that. Needless to say there is always a variety of comments and the ones of this hotel were really positive (with the odd winger who wants the world for a cheap price).

When we arrived we were very quickly checked in and whisked by golf buggy to our room where we proceeded to drop off our bags and head straight to the bar for a G&T. After two or three of the above mentioned beverage we headed back to our room. The room was clean, spacious, and well kept, and every day there was a real sense of anticipation as to what 'towel origami' would greet us on our return ( I will not reveal what brilliant things there were as it would ruin the surprise if you go). Our view was over the lower pool area and we were in a great place for access to both the beach and main hotel,

We decided to go all inclusive and judging by the amount of liquids of one form and another that were consumed this area alone proved all inclusive to be a wise choice.

Primarily we used the Tipsy Turtle bar staffed by Ahmed, Yasser and Mohamed S. these guys were brilliant for the whole time we were there nothing was to much trouble and we were always greeted with a genuine and enthusiastic smile ( Yasser you are a legend !)

It goes without saying that 5* in Egypt is not the same 5* in the UK therefore make allowances for that.The food.......was I thought really good, breakfast was pretty much the same every day but the quality was great and you didn't really need more choice. Lunch and dinner were of a consistent high standard and always a wide choice and most nights 'themed' but the desserts left a lot to be desired. The restaurant staff were again very professional and friendly and very quick to help in any way.

OK now the negative... no not the hotel.... the Russians !!! how can I put this? Generally rude, don't bother being polite and queueing cos they wont!! They will pile several plates full of food and trough it down as if someone is about to take it off them. I saw one girl in her mid twenties with the body mass index of a stick insect take to her table enough to feed a family of four, I exaggerate not, needless to say 50% was left on the table when they left GRRR. I do feel that the hotel aims very much for the Russian contingent during any performances i.e. beach party where all the chat was in Russian and next to no English

Oh while I think of it NO FREE WiFi anywhere in the hotel and by all accounts not great when you pay for it...although maybe no WiFi when your on holiday is a good thing....what do you think?

We had the holiday we were looking for, Relaxing, lots of sun, lots of snorkelling, plenty of beach time and to be able to eat and drink whenever we wanted.

One final tip... learn a few Arabic phrases, the normal please and thank you and anything else you can remember ( lots of videos on youtube) It will get you a long way to your benefit.

Just back from a week at the Hilton Waterfalls had a very relaxing time. All staff very helpful,happy and hard working. Special thanks to Moustafa at the Chillax bar/sun terrace he was always there with your drinks and anything else that you required without being "in your face". We found this area much more to our liking than then pool nearer the sea as this as it says in its name is quieter and you are not constantly bother by people trying to sell you spar treatments etc. But both areas are lovely and lots of sunbeds and shades.

We had a sea view room - wonderful lots of space for all your stuff and the standard of cleaning was high - so no issues there.

Food - well it was ok but a bit bland and the same most nights - my partner is a veggie and was able to eat well but could have done with a bit more choice ie why put ham in with the peas? Little changes like that would have given her more choice and not upset the meat eaters like me. The food is really where you can see that this is not a five star hotel and I would say a good three maybe a four. But there was nothing that upset us all was well cooked and the staff (again) were so attentive and helpful.

So all in all a good holiday but would not go back as it was nothing special and there are so many places to visit in the world.
