been out here in sharm since november 29 and i decided to treat my wife and i to a short break in a hotel as we live in an apartment, our friends told us how good this hotel is and they were right.soon as we arrived i could see nothing was to much trouble for Tamer and his wonderful staff.the room was spotless, meals brilliant,i am usually fussy about eating hotel food but not in this one.the dining room is very very clean.the heated swimming pool was a nice change,as im used to freezing ones where i live.the views are lncredible.well thats all i have to say about this hotel i will definitely be going back more than once, for me best hotel in nnama.once again Tamer and your staff are acredit keep up the good work see you soon nik caz.

We have just returned from our 2nd stay at the Iberotel Lido in Sharm and have already booked our next holiday with them.
As with our previous visits the staff welcomed us with smiles and open arms - we felt like we had returned home !!!
As always the staff led wonderfully by Tamer the Hotel Manager, couldn't do enough for us they went the extra mile to make sure that our stay was as perfect as possible - extra touches to the room flowers / welcome fruit and a lovely "personal touch" regarding a photograph - which really was above anything that we would have expected.
The staff as usual looked after us very well out thanks go out to Makram who made sure our sunbeds where ready for us each day - Hassan who brought us Coffee and Drinks by the pool - Mansour and Sammy for New Year and Karem for helping us with our luggage.
The Spa Treatments we had were as good as ever and made us feel relaxed and refreshed.
We can't wait to return later this year to see everyone again and agian many thanks for making our stay so special.
Best wishes
David & Lesley

If you don't like the big resorts, this is the place to go. Among the different choices of hotels in Sharm el Sheikh, the Lido offers the advantage of its great location, just facing the bay and at close distance of the restaurants and shops area of Nama Bay. The design is styled like a cruising ship, with wooden decks. Specially nice is the pool area on the rooftop. Size is reasonable (86 rooms). Private beach just in front of the hotel. Special mention to the Egyptian massage facility that is worth trying. The atmosphere is friendly and the service efficient. We had bed and breakfast only, the location of the breakfast restaurant overlooking the sea is gorgeous. Unfortunately the quality of the food was average. No healthy options like organic cereals, just some classic out of the box flakes, choice of fruits limited and poor quality of fruit (?) juices. But a lot of sweet and fatty oriental pastries. We tried the dinner buffet a couple of times and found it very average, too. Better to go and have diner in town, where there is plenty of interesting food options. In summary, accommodation, comfort and location very good, food average.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the sea are quitter with better view than the ones facing the beach.

We stayed at the Lido a few years ago and always said we would go back one day, the service then was really good, nothing was too much trouble, but this time, well I really don't think if we had gone to a 5/6 star hotel we would have received any better service, from the lower staff to the management the service at this hotel is excellent.

We had contacted the front desk a few times before we went with various questions and dealt Hossam Azad, what a gentleman, he was so helpful, always a polite and helpful answer literally by return, no waiting days for an answer, like a few places we have used. So we decided to book and to say our stay was good would be an understatement.

These guys are the best at what they do, nothing is too much trouble, Makram who manages the pool is a credit to the team, as well as Hassan who does the bar at the pool, but it has to be said not one member of staff as far as we were concerned let the team down, these guys work long and hard for their pay.

As stated in various previous comments the hotel is an oasis in the madness that is now Naama Bay, and if you want night life, because there is not much going on in the evenings at the hotel then a short walk and you will find it..we have seen Naama Bay grow so much in the last few years, not for the better i have to say, but this hotel being only a 76 bed is brilliant, never at any time did you feel hassled,at all times it was service with a smile, the personal touch you just do not find in many places nowadays.

Food is ok, prob much better than a lot of the bigger hotels, my one gripe was that it could have been served hotter but I think its generally the same anywhere, they did move the dining room during our stay and and when re-opened was all kitted out with much better facilities so that could well improve, there was always plenty of choice, and again the staff there were great.

One thing that really impressed us was the fact the management were always visible (not hidden away in their offices) and checking every thing was running smoothly.

It is in a fantastic location, it looks very much like an ocean liner and all rooms have a sea view with the pool area being on the top deck......the rooms aren't huge but adequate and kept immaculately clean, fresh towels every day

It is away from the noise and bustle, but right on the beach, and I have to say the snorkelling is as always fantastic, you can go in off the beach or they have a great jetty with steps down into the sea, make sure you look under the jetty, the fish are amazing

So to conclude, if you need to relax and unwind with fantastic service then this is the place

I have just returned from another stay at the fabulous Lido , this time for 2 weeks and I have to say that the Hotel made every effort possible to make my stay memorable. Tamer the Hotel manager and his staff remembered me from my last visit and made me feel very valued as a returning guest. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautifully clean and the food was fresh and very nice.
In my opinion, there is no where better or more personal than the Lido to stay in Naama Bay and I always recommend it to my friends who are considering a holiday in Sharm.

Visited the amazing Iberotel Lido in November 2012.
The hotel is a couple of minutes walk from Naama Bay "El-mash-shaya" but at the same time it's in a very quiet neighborhood away from the noise.
From the very first moment we had a very special reception by the welcoming Mr. Tamer and the friendly staff with a very pleasant surprise.
Our room had a heavenly view on the whole bay that you could spend days in the balcony without getting bored and we could even see fish in the clear water from our balcony!
The breakfast was very nice. The hotel has a nice pool as well.
One thing that needs some enhancement is the beach as it is kind of small and your foot might get hurt in the seawater because of the small rocks (don't know for sure how they can manage to remove those). You can have a massage if you want to though we thought it was kind of expensive.
In general we loved our stay in Iberotel Lido and would definitely come back in shaa Allah.

Room Tip: If the difference in price isn't that big, pick a full-bay-view room. It's really worth it.

We recently returned from a wonderful stay at the hotel. Iberotel Lido is a small and very friendly hotel. All of the facilities are clean and the staff are very attentive. I would describe the food as adequate (We opted for the all inclusive buffet option) but far better than many other hotels that we have visited with buffet food. The hotel is also well positioned with lovely views across the bay. What makes this hotel really special though is the wonderful staff. They really try hard to look after their guests and we were on first name terms with many of them by the time that we left. We will be back again soon !
