Top hotel. Lovely staff. Wonderful food. Just got back from 2 weeks here and are already planning to go back next year. A big thankyou to sabbry from the poolbar and evening on the terrace. Sharif in the restaurant who was funny. Our room cleaner for the towel art. The pool guys for changing our towels every day and putting up umbrella. Entertainment team were brilliant and worked really hard a special mention to Rebecca loved her bubbly and friendly as well as a great singer. The gala dinner is a must you get to meet management team. It was our 25th wedding anniversary we got champagne a cake made for us and the staff sang and danced it was wonderful. Met some lovely people from Facebook iberotel palace page. We are already telling friends to book and are deffinately returning next year.

The hotel is very well presented and maintained and all in all the staff are lovely. I travelled with my boyfriend and we have had a couple troublesome experiences. I must emphasise that this was at no fault of the hotel, they were extremely attentive. They kindly did our laundry twice, free of charge- therefore returning home with a suitcase full of clean and ironed clothes! The food was average hotel food, but our expectations are rather high, especially after we overheard an individual say that his meal at the a la carte restaurant (which you are able to visit once in your stay free of charge) was the best meal he had eaten in a few years! - we did however, experience awful stomach upset from the food, which definitely impacted out holiday as a whole. Cocktails were extremely UNalcoholic most of the time, and juices from concentrate out of a carton. The entertainment is minimal, and to be honest the resident duo (who sing every night) aren't all that great, we often avoided their evening 'entertainment'. The boat rides to and from the coral reefs from the beach were always highly enjoyable, and the snorkelling was amazing. If travelling with Thomson do NOT book with them as they charge more than double the price, we were offered the same trip at £20pp. If using the boat service to the coral reefs from the hotel (free of charge, located at the far left of the beach) bring snorkels and shoes/flippers.

My advice is stay IN the hotel; we were going to Naama Bay to visit our friends and the hassle to organise a fair price was the taxi was exhausting. Upon leaving we were advised to pay no more that 30E as we had no change we paid him 40E. However on the way back, we agreed the price of 30E with the taxi driver and when we arrived he demanded more and became very aggressive, claiming he was going to call the police.

As the hotel is opposite the old market we thought we would go to explore. The first shop we walked past a man greeted us telling us to sign his book of well wishes, and we did so as not to seem rude. At this point we didn't even know what the shop was, we later saw that it was a perfumery. He asked us to smell different scents, asking is which one was our favourite. At that point we emphasised greatly that we were students and didn't have a lot of money to spend and had no intention of buying any perfumes etc. He assumed us that he wasn't trying to sell is anything and that it wasn't about money but friendship- either way we didn't want to buy his product. After asking us to pick a bottle (again us emphasising that we weren't here to buy anything) he starts wrapping the bottles and takes out his calculator, saying that we owed him 600E. We were horrified! Had we had the money on is we probably would have paid. It was just a disaster!

After reading many of the reviews in the months leading up to our holiday we were a little bit apprehensive that as a young couple we may have been a little bit out of place at this hotel. We couldn't have been more wrong. With a mixture of age groups, the Iberotel Palace is the perfect resort for couples who want to relax, enjoy brilliant food, drink, (cocktails are included) entertainment and ultimately 5 star treatment. The staff are so friendly, by the third day they knew our drinks order off by heart, and they're so attentive, always checking if you're okay and if you need anything. Really top class service. Our room was beautiful and was cleaned daily by the maid which was fantastic. The hotel is also beautiful, and the pool is fantastic, we never had a problem getting a sunbed, but then again we were always up early making the most of the sun. We had an absolutely brilliant holiday and we can't wait to return next year for 2 weeks!!

My wife and I stayed at the palace from the 7th June for 2 weeks we had a wonderful holiday from start to finish. The food was varied and plentiful and always hot , the pool and beach is superb with plenty of sun beds to go round . A final mention must go to the staff all of them they are the people who made our holiday so special Tina and Barry from Kent

Stayed at the Iberotel Palace as the reviews fitted all out needs and were not disappointed. Lovely small hotel with everything we could wish for, extremely friendly staff and delicious food. Ideally located on the beach and opposite the Old Sharm market for shopping, so no need to go to Naama Bay for holiday bargains.
The only down was the beauty room on site, not owned by Iberotel Palace, unlike the Spa.
I had the worst ever pedicure and manicure at the beauty room, so brutal that my feet are still sore a week later - AVOID and save a fortune!
The Spa was professionally run and our course of massages well received.
The best thing was the dive school on this hotel site; C-Fun Divers. Great staff:) and the port was 5 mins away by mini-bus so we didn't have to spend a long time commuting when going on their daily dive boats.
Thoroughly recommend Iberotel Palace, Sharm.
Planning our return.......

Room Tip: Basic double was perfectly adequate, no need to spend extra for partial sea view as we were never in...

We have just returned from ten days at the Iberotel palace, we chose this hotel because it is a couples hotel, I must say that when we arrived the first impressions were very good, and it continued to be very good, the food was excellent, a very wide choice, a different theme every night. The superior room we had was large enough clean and well appointed. John the Thomson rep was very knowledgeable always ready with tips and advice, always cheerful, nothing is too much trouble, the staff were attentive and polite. Any issues were attended to quickly and efficiently, I must mention Muhammed Said from the lobby bar who really made us feel special, he was always happy to chat and was interested in what we had done and where we had been, I played boules on the beach every morning under the control of Youseff who made it great fun, I can say that when we return to Sharm El Sheikh it will definately be to this hotel.

Room Tip: We were in block 4, which is a little bit away from the main centre of activity, try and get block 2...
