We cant praise this hotel enough. From the time we arrived to when we left was the most relaxing time we have ever had and wished we had booked for longer We have found our knish for holidays of the future. All the staff from the gardeners to the top management couldn't have been more helpful or friendly Breakfast was a delight something to suit everyone and nothing to much trouble In the evenings we didn't go anywhere else to eat as the hotel food was top class and so clean you could eat off the paving stones they are polished every day.We even found we could make up our own menus up and they would bring it to us The Italian Restaurant is to Die for the ambiance, the view and food all excellent. The Seagulls bar staff are Tip Top make you feel so welcome and very helpful as to where to go shopping for the best bargains. The room we stayed in on the main walk way was Clean Clean.Shower strong and nice hot water. White White towels in the room and face cloths.fresh every day and we also felt the sheets were changed every day how the bed was made up.The pool is sparkling clean and lovely and warm you can walk straight in which is a big bonus for me!! A huge reading room with so many books in all different languages so saves you packing a load of books. So all in all I cant praise this Hotel enough.
In Fact we are already booked in again this year for 3 weeks this time and taking my parents who are 82 and 86 as its only a five an half hour flight for us

Stayed at the Casino for 3 nights in Dec, I looked forward to staying there as I had heard so much about it, what a disapponitment. Initially stayed in the Palm area - big mistake - room was lovely and well appointed, but the horrendous noise of music from Naama Bay all night made sleep impossible, one night was all I could take! I moved to the preferred area, further from Naama Bay noise.

The first night in this area I managed to sleep, the second night there was a party at the Sonesta and another sleepness night. The second room I found to be very dark and depressing, the decor was sombre and just 2 plastic chairs on the terrace which suprised me at such an expensive hotel.

The pool is small and the sunbeds are close together and the toilets at the pool area left much to be desired. I wasn't impressed with the beach area either, other than there was a good decked area for disabled people, I have to say this hotel is suitable for anyone with a disability. I wasn't impressed with the food, although it was plentiful.

The reception staff weren't very helpful when I complained about the noise, saying it didn't go on all night and wouldn't be a problem, their attitude wasn't what I expected from a Maritim hotel. The room cleaner was very pleasant and the room was really clean, the grounds are well cared for. Kettle and mugs in the room, but no tea and coffee provided.

The convenience to Naama Bay is perhaps what will draw a lot of people, whereas I couldn't wait to get back to the peace and quiet and quality of the Maritim Jolie Ville Golf!

As going to Sharm in Aug 2010 was my first ever holiday I was extremely happy with the choice of hotel that my girls picked! Understandable I was very excited to go on a plane & be in Egypt but when we arrived at the hotel I was even more overwhelmed.

Our package was bed & breakfast, 7 nights! The design & exterior of the hotel was amazing & completely blew me away! It was so beautiful, & extremely clean! With wonderful fountains on display. The hotel is massive, so is always nice to take a little stroll around the grounds!
The service was great! checking-in was fast & our rooms were more or less next to reception. We got a ride on the cabbies to our room! The staff were always so helpful! Very friendly & made my stay at the hotel that much more pleasurable! Management were always asking us if we were alright & assuring us that they were willing to help in any way possible! Breakfast was always enjoyable! I especially loved the pancakes & waffles! They had such a varitey! cereal, crossiants, fruit, bread, buns, pancakes & waffles (of course) etc etc etc! They was never anything to complain about so all i could do was take in the views!

all the rooms look the same from the outside! inside the rooms were always clean & tiidy! air-con was fab & well needed in 40c heat! The room was also a lovely size! Just right for the two people sharing & my other friends had an even bigger room with three sharing & two balconies! housekeeping was always on point & always had the room looking like we had just moved in! the beds were confortable & i slept like a baby every night! we had a balcony so that was always nice to go out onto the balcony & chill & just look at the beautiful surroundings of the hotel! We had a shower in our room which was lovel! lovely water pressure, real clean & never seemed to get dirty even doh we showered like 2, 3 times a day! lol!

The location was pretty good! we were literally a mins. walk from naama bay so no long walk back to the hotel if you've had a good few drinks in the bars! the beach was next to the restaurant and wonderful at night with some cocktails at the hotel bar by the beach!

The swimming was great as well! were a lot of people so that was great & its luke warm! there was also a small kiddies pool which hardly ever got used & unfortunately was a bit dirty! but the main pool was clean & a joy to go into whenever we wanted during operation times!
There is also a spa which unfortunately i didnt get the opportunity to experience but im sure i will next time! They have a games area with two big pool tables & internet! not too sure about their entertainment as we didnt stay in the hotel for long periods of time to experience it! we were more on naama bay in the bars but one that i did witness, or at least hear from the bar on the beach one night was belly dancers, which seemed nice & enjoyable for those watching & some people singing!

There is an excellent night life in naama bay! shisha, untold amount of bars & the locals were just as much responsible for making my stay in sharm as breath-taking, enjoyable & unforgettable as it was! one particular bar you must visit is MONTY'S! the owner is a wonderful man! very friendly & the staff are great as well! MONTY'S is a great place to go as its got a feel for back home in london & a bar we would always find ourselves at every night after whatever other bar we went to during the night! DEFINITELY GO TO MONTY'S xXx

My only negative thing i have to say about the hotel is we encountered a couple ants a couple nights in our room but that was it! literally 1 or 2 big ants for about 2-3 nights, which was only that irritating because i don't like insects but i reckon that's to be expected with the country & climate! However my friends in the three people sharing room said they didnt have any ants!
Overall the hotel is lovel & i would definitley reccommend anyone stay here who is going to visit sharm. its so good that we are hoping to go back by the end of the year & we are insisting on stay in the same hotel!
great hotel! great staff! great breakfast! great pool! great room! great beds! great people! great stay! x

After reviews from friends and family that this hotel was a good one we were really disappointed :-( We had been looking forward to some r & r for a long time and unfortunately the room they gave us was in the "palm area".

We didnt realise that this was right off the back of all the clubs and pubs and the main road going through Naama bay, so every evening we were kept awake by the clubs, people shouting, drunken arguments and if not that then the constant coaches going over the speed bumps. It was the worse nights sleep ive had in a long time and even blocking my ears couldnt help.

The only rooms they would offer us were those over in the main road away from the beach which were downgrades, all the best rooms were taken by Egyptians which they do seem to favour.

Adding to that the "dirty" toilet paper we found in our room when we got there and the windows not closing properly, plus our hotel room door looking like it had been kicked in.. it wasnt the best place ive been!

Some nice things to say about it, the breakfast was good, the beach was also great, the service was good also. The staff are very friendly and will try their best to do as much for you as possible, its just a shame giving us a decent room wasnt one of them. Yes we are only in it to sleep in the evenings but we couldnt get to sleep until 2 -3 in the morning most nights.. this would be fine if we were out clubbing each night.

I wouldnt stay here again though and id urge anyone looking to book here to be careful about the "palm area", i would check the small print when booking with a UK tour operator as they are not that clear about it and you think your going to be near the beach.

I stayed at this hotel in 13/14/15 january with my wife. It is an excellent resort which is centrally located and in proximity to the market. The staff were very polite and cooperative and the food was great. The private beach was well kept. It was a wonderful experience and would surely come to this beautiful place again.
