Just stayed for 7 days and would recommend this hotel to anyone and iv stayed in Hotels all over the World. Overall really good value for money and in a great location just 2 mins from Soho Square and 15 mins from Naama. Food is so-so as is the case in 99% of AI,s but there's always something worth eating. The pool is great and the snorkelling off the beach is out of this world! The entertainment generally goes above and beyond also. The rooms are great but we did stay in a deluxe so not sure what the cheaper ones are like. The staff, in every department are a credit to the Hotel and can't do enough for you and are always friendly. Only down-side, which isn't the hotels fault, is the Russians which make up about 75% of the guests. They are truly horrible, arrogant, rude and disrespectful. They talk to the staff like animals and at dinner in the last day one literally tried to tip me out of my chair so his fat wife could have it. This isn't an dramatisation, this actually happened. They are so bad that the staff give you special treatment when they find out your British. Please don't let this put you off though, as despite the Russians, this is still a great Hotel and I will be returning.

When travelling with a young baby you need water to prep bottles and wash them up but have learnt that this hotel provides bottled water by the cup but they won't give you it in a bottle, even though they have them! for any parents out there with young babies expect to pay for these bottles of water along with a kettle who would of thought water and a kettle this is a 5* hotel! Sensatori hotel gives you as many bottles as you need, go there instead the extra you will pay on your holiday would of paid for those bottles of water.

Great location, a 2 min walk to Soho Square, perfect for a relaxing eve out. Good for smoking shisha and shopping without Hassel. Restuarants new and very good. You can smoke shisha on the balcony overlooking the sea at the hotel which is lovely, in the piano bar. Free wifi and afternoon tea in piano bar was perfect between lunch and dinner. Snorkelling is great here, safe and easy with life guards. Beach is cool, if you enjoy music while you sunbathe. Gorgeous hammock tents to reserve. Plenty of places to get little refreshers throughout the day too. My boyfriend and I wanted to totally relax so we found a lovely breezy spot over looking the sea. All staff are friendly and can't do enough for you. Naama bay is about 20 mins away, hop on the hotel shuttle but reserve your place in advance. They pick you up 2 & half hours later which is perfect.
Hotel is stylish, clean, good food, classier than some hotels in sharm and great value. I was so impressed when we arrived outside that i thought the driver had made a mistake as the photos don't do it justice except the one of the infinity pool over looking the sea. Very romantic! After staying in different parts of egypt iI would recommend sharks bay and the concorde el salam it to friends.

Having recently stayed at Concorde for a week overall it was definitely more of a hit than miss.
The actual resort is architecturally beautiful with the centre piece being the infinity pool overlooking the Rea Sea. This is surrounded by plentiful sun loungers, a pool bar and a good pool team.
Reception was friendly and efficient in all dealings. Accommodation is fine, rooms are clean and comfortable but without a wow factor inside. The bath with an overhead shower was a disappointment and the bath could definitely use an upgrade. We had a perfectly positioned room with the balcony overlooking both the pool and sea and on arrival we had a most entertaining joyride to our room with in a buggy. The room was also cleaned daily.
The bar was also very nice, featuring an outdoor terrace also. The bar staff are a huge asset to the Concorde, they are professional and so friendly and responsive and seem to make a definite effort to get to know their guests during their stay.
The restaurants proved to be the greatest disappointment with the food definitely more miss than hit. Themed evenings are messy and can leave you with very little choice. There certainly needs to be more western influence on the menu in the evening time in particular. All-inclusive for this reason is to be AVOIDED but worth noting is that there is a lovely restaurant as an alternative over the Queen Vic in Soho Square, 5 minutes from the hotel entrance. Also the Italian on-site is not worth bothering with, assuming you are speaking English you will most likely find it very difficult to communicate even your basic order here.
In terms of on-site activities, if you're lucky enough to be travelling with active people you will have a very good choice. Across the road in the sports hotel there's a great choice of facilities and onsite in the front hotel there are some very good watersports. Snorkelling is highly recommended. The indoor pool is small and noisy in the presence of kids. Animation activities could definitely be of a better variety.
The majority of the visitors are definitely Russian and you might find yourself competing with them at the buffet. Otherwise they don't interact (or even smile) so are easy to ignore.
While poolside you will most likely find yourself consistently pestered to book massages, especially when you are recognised as new. If this is on your agenda you may as well do it early as it gets very annoying to be consistently disturbed with the hard sell. The hard sell aspect is also to be found in the shops at the hotel, although it is mild compared to the abomination that is Naama Bay. Undoubtedly you will have this on your agenda, unless extreme experiences are what you are after, don't bother with it, you will want to leave as soon as you get out of the taxi and the intense harassment starts.
Overall the Concorde is a good facility, served well by it's staff, but not worth paying the whopping all-inclusive fee for.

Room Tip: If you can, get a room close to the infinity pool.

We have just returned from the Concorde El Salam having spent 11 nights there. We had a fab time, room and hotel was clean at all times and the staff couldn't do enough for us. The only little thing that I would say that lets the hotel down is the food. We stayed at the hotel on a half board basis and were very disapointed with the food, both at breakfast and dinner time. However we didn't let this dampen our spirits we still had a great time. Most certainly would go back again.

Room Tip: Request a sea view room so your closer to the beach!
