Very nice rooms, lovely infinety pool, nice beach, with a ponton to end of the reef, wunderfull fish!
The buffet was big with something to eat for everyone.
The waiter at the diningroom Muhammed was exelent! Really good service from him!The other waiters could learn a lot from him.
To bad we only got 1 bottle of water a day for two persons.
Waiting 1 hour for a roll of toiletpaper is to long.

We were here for the second time. And again there were very satisfied! Very grateful to the team of the hotel.
Excellent and well-groomed territory. A lot of green vegetation and flowers. Gardeners diligently care for this beauty!
The chefs prepare too many delicious. It is very difficult to keep from overeating.
The bartenders and waiters my respects to their hard work. It is very difficult to keep up everywhere, but the guys were very best!
A separate hi our friendly, but a strict security service ! Well done!
Animators simply iron men! The impression that they never get tired. Always a smile and never-ending friendship!
Thanks again a big and well coordinated team of the hotel!
We hope to visit this hotel again!

With respect! Andrey and Irina.
(My English is very bad! :-) )

we went to the concorde with some of our family for our anniversary.this was our 4th time at this hotel and we met a lot of the staff we knew who made us very welcome. there were quite a few changes from our last visit some were good some bad first the good the reception area and the piano bar were completely refurbished and looked great the beach bar which was a shack is now a double deck cafe representing a ship and is lovely.now the bad the restaurant now has tea/coffee machines you have to wait in line for, drinks are left on a trolley and although this is to make it easier for the waiters to serve you from people were helping themselves we saw one child take what she thought was a glass of cola but was red wine.then as i see by most peoples reviews there is the RUSSIANS they really are as bad as every one says so i wont say any more on the subject.I went on a couple trips with my grandchildren and enjoyed the quad bikes and snorkeling even at seventy.now although the staff and the hotel are as good as ever we probably wont be back as we were told the hotel will have at least 80% RUSSIANS over the next three years sorry not for us.

Room Tip: try for rooms at small pool near to most things but quieter.

Four fifty plus English enjoyed this hotel. Very good position. good choice of food. Generous amount of reasonable Red Wine. Weather was beautiful, very warm with light breezes.
Yes there are a huge number of Russians and yes they are very rude but we just got used to it and didn't let them bother us in the main.
The staff were lovely and we were happy with all of them that helped us to have a brilliant holiday.
Meat was a bit tough at times but you can always go and find something else to enjoy.
No decaff coffee at all which was a bit dissapointing.
We found the opportunities for snorkeling a bit difficult as one of the pontoons was out of use for much of our stay and hence the other one was always very crowded. We would have liked to have walked into more areas of the sea but obviously were not alowed to walk across the coral (and if you did the life guards constantly blew their whistle to remind you not to stray on the coral.) However the fish are amazing and swim close to you which was lovely.
We all agreed that we'd be happy to return to this hotel.

Dear guest,
It was a great pleasure to me to read your review about your stay with us and I am glad to know that you enjoyed your holiday in our hotel; and liked the hotel’s location, food , weather and staff and regarding not allowing walking, stepping or sitting across the corals the reason is corals are quite delicate and easy to destroy also taking corals or anything else is also illegal as per the Egyptian law, looking forward to welcoming you back for another enjoyable holiday.

My husband and I stayed at the Concorde for 10 nights in October. The weather was 40 degrees most days.

The hotel was beautiful, the room we stayed in was spacious and clean, the staff were always helpful. There were 2 restaurants you could dine in for breakfast 4 places you could go for lunch but there was only 1 main restaurant for dinner. To give the hotel their dues, it is a different theme every night, and there is always some "plain" food for those who don't like to try something new. We didn't starve!

There were several smaller pools round the hotel so if you wanted somewhere quieter away from the hustle and bustle of the main pool you could find sun beds there. We never had a problem finding sunbeds throughout our whole stay. Just be aware the sun is up at 5.30 and sets around 5,30pm so most people are up and about early.

The snorkelling off the jetty at the hotel is lovely, we snorkelled most days, it is quiet at 7.30am and then again at 1,30pm (when everyone goes for lunch!).

You could walk to SoHo square and watch the fountain show on an evening, they have bowling, restaurants and bars (it is slightly on the expensive side as it is owned by the Savoy!). but realistically it was hotel prices.

We went ot Naama bay which wasn't our cup of tea, very busy and bustley and slightly annoying, you couldn't just wonder, however the english bar - The Tavern is great for a pint!

The russian guests can be rude to staff and guests, we tended to ignore their rude comments and were polite to the staff, you may find the politer you are to staff (and a tip doesn't go a miss) you will recieve first class service from the staff. The russians - i would ignore theire rudeness - it didn't cause any upset for us on our holiday.

I can't fault the hotel - it was lovely and I would stay again.

My wife and I spent 7 days at the hotel from11th to 18th of October...
What a delight to be waited on hand and foot.... excellent
The hotel was clean, in fact immaculate.
The bar & restaurant service was excellent....the food..fairly good but repitious, especially the desserts. The idea of theme food nights was a nice thought..we even had roast beef, alas no yorkshire puddings!
Everyone at the hotel was very friendly including the waiters. Special mention here goes to Mahmood, the waiter who looked after us during our stay, nothing was to much trouble...what ever you are paying him could never be enough...many thanks!

Two moans...The shop owners off the reception area are a pain in the *ss and hounded us evertime we passed their shop windows...guys if people want to buy your wares it will be their decision not yours..lay-off.
We had to wait two hours for a toilet roll! and even then I had to search out one of their cleaners and stole it! Not funny when you have a dose of the old gypy tummy!
All-in-all a great time...would we go back...nay..it wouldn't be the same second time around..
Oh I forgot to mention the russians..an absolute bunch of arrogant and rude people

My boyfriend & I stayed at the Concorde front at the end of September into the first weeks of October.

ROOM-
We were given a room in the 'British part' which appear to b most of the turquoise rooms and couldn't complain. It was comfortable & more than adequate in size. The fridge to stock with your own drinks was a welcome bonus. Also the air con worked perfectly & there is a safety deposit box built in.
The room was kept spotless for the first week of our stay, however our cleaner changed halfway and he was awful!!! Days passed without the counter in the bathroom being wiped, bed being properly made or toilet paper being replaced (which in Egypt is essential!) the tv in our room also didn't work the entire time we were there.

POOLS & BEACH- we used the aquagym pool most days as it seemed to be where most of the British guests stayed and it was great, just quiet enough. The staff at that pool were by far the best in the hotel & really went above & beyond.
We tried to use the main pool the odd time but were met by a sea of angry demanding Russians. The main pool is basically a Russian 18-30 club, all the games etc r aimed at them, they're steaming for most of the day which only makes them louder, bark orders and move towels off beds regardless of whether your there or not. Theres a few Russian kids knocking about this pool too, they'll be easily recognisable as everyone of the kiddies I seen had really bad sunburn and was usually chucked into the water by themselves whilst their parents demanded more alcohol from the pool bar staff.
The beach is ok, not very spacious or relaxing but the house reef is fantastic for snorkelling!!!! Worth a try!

RESTAURANT - the food is NOT 4 or 5 star, it's probably more akin to 3 star. However there was always plenty of choice but it did get very repetitive. It is bland and generally aimed at the Russian visitors, by the end of the 1st week we started to go into Nabq bay to eat. The desserts all look amazing but generally taste the same and there are only so many nights someone can eat waffles before it gets a bit boring. At dinner you can get pasta made up fresh, this was lovely!! Generally their cuts of red meat were very lean & good quality so I tended to stick to them. The staff in the restaurant are a mixed bag but I'll cover that next.

STAFF & SERVICE - At the beginning of our trip we thought the majority of the staff were fantastic but unfortunately by the end we could only say a handful were anywhere near what we'd expected from the hotel. Mohammed (aqua pool & Piano bar) is fantastic! Easily their best member of staff, goes above and beyond. I fell Ill and he delivered soda water to the room to help my tummy & went to the chemist to get me an ointment when he'd seen me scratching a mosquito bite, lovely lovely guy! He doesn't expect to be tipped constantly but definately deserves it. The lifeguard at the aqua pool was also fantastic. He ensured we had the same beds everyday in the same spot and a parasol was always available if we needed it, again brilliant service.
There were about 2 waiters in the restaurant who were quite nice however most weren't and 1 started to argue with me one night because we hadn't sat in his section then purposefully would not serve us for rest of holiday??!!

Overall the hotel looks the part & has all the amenities to make it fantastic, especially the location however this was spoilt by the running theme of the Russians. The place is infested with them and they are actually as bad as you think. They are rude, arrogant, confrontational and have no concept of what's socially acceptable at all. I was physically pushed by a beast of a Russian man because I dared to stand in the 1ft x 1ft square of floor space that he had obviously deemed was his. The majority of them actually disgusted me! They are animals at mealtimes, piling their plates with abnormal amounts of food that they push theie way in to get. This hotel could be Brilliant but will not be whilst the staff continue to bend over backwards for the Russians guests and British guests are treated like second class.
I think Thomas cook/Thomson etc would need to reconsider how they market this hotel to avoid people being disappointed.
