Stayed here in March 2012.The hotel rooms ,pools and grounds were excellent as were the quality of the staff.The food menu was not of comparable standard as the rest of the hotel.Much of the food was served Luke warm or cold.Although we were allinclusive it was not possible to have wine other than at lunch and dinner.We were staying at the palm side to the hotel,but visited the excellent beach for the day.At lunch time when we tried to get a sandwich from the bar we were told we would have to pay for them.We were also not allowed all inclusive drinks on an evening at this bar.On our last day we were told in writing that we had to surrender our AI wrist bands at 12.00 otherwise we would be fined.It cost us£40.00 at the hotel bar for a pizza ,hamburger and bottle of wine before we left for home.these restrictive practices were not what we had been accustomed to

We stayed here last week and had quite possibly the worst experience we could image staying here. Right from the initial service when we first checked in, to giving us the wrong room and then saying that it is tough, we are busy and there is nothing we can do about it, irrespective of the fact that we booked our room well in advance.

The quality of the food was also sub-standard and the attitude of staff all bar 1 very helpful lady on the reception called Mimi was just appalling.

For this hotel to be deserving of 5 stars even for Egyptian standards it has a long way to go to catch up.

There are no minus ratings here unfortunately so I give it 1.

Dear Viewers ,i have just arrived back from the fabulous red sea resort of Sharm el Sheikh,,and once again,,i spent the 8 days holiday at the Novotel Sharm el Sheikh hotel, This is my third stay at the hotel in a year's period,,and it was REALLY REWARDING,,I was upgraded to a lovely room at the beach front instead of Palm side ,,with the same price,,this is because of REPEATED VISIT somehow POLICY,,they consider a mutual investment ,benefit with every revisit,,and signs of gratitude,respect,,with obvious feelings of success is the general theme. In this regard i would like to thank Mr, Ehab Abd el Shakour for his remarkable cooperation ,gentilleness,profound decency ,,and genuine passion for success and convey the idea that the Hotel is always the best bargain,,in every sense of the word,,,
Once again I would like to stress upon the Personnel of this lovely hotel ,,actually from every department,,as i believe this is their main core of success. There is always a great deal of DISCIPLINE,,DECENCY ,,PUNCTUALITY,,and above all THE SENSE OF FAMILLY ,,amongst the working time,,all this reflecting,,great comfort,relaxation,,and always the sense of a wonderful bargain,,that u get more than u pay ,,!!!,
The room was spacious ,clean ,,and highly equiped, The breakfast and dinner courses were great,, variable ,and always changeable to overcome any monotony,(iwas on Half board basis ,and it was beneficial price wise ,,and i highly recommend),,
The Hotel has a lovely beach front,,multiple swimming pools,,and most important is the Location ,,as u are almost never inneed of taxis,,,with all the hussle that follows,
I highly recommend this hotel,,and my advice,,is always get in direct contact with the management ,,for reservation ,,special room preferences ,,or any misunderstanding or doubtful impressions,,these people are genuinely there for help and proper advice.Thanx for every thing

Nice resort on "the promenade" in Sharm. Nice rooms, good service, great pool and good food at the pool bar or in the Italian restaurant in the evenings. Great dive center run by Mohamed. The beach is nice but very hot.

We stayed here for four nights once we had been moved from the maritim jolie ville casino resort to the novotel hotel as our travel agent had made a cock up (broadway travel) and thank god it worked out in our favour as the novotel hotel was so much better. Hotel is clean, tidy and modern and has a warm homely feel to it, the pool and beach areas were beautiful aswell as the view from the balcony from all the rooms. Decent size room clean shower and washroom comfortable and spacious bed. We had booked b&b which was very nice great variety of local and international foods. Helpful and friendly staff especially Ehad who i believe is the manager helped us out and looked after us. I would highly recommend the novotel hotel only 10 min walk to the naama bay area which was great because loud music can be heard if you stay close by to naama bay. Hotel is designed to cater for types of holiday makers. Overall highly satisfied and would definitely come and stay here again.

I stayed there with my husband back on October 2012 for a week. I chose the Novotel mainly for its central location & beach front.
Pros:
- Beach was clean, plenty of subeds, sandy seabed here & there.
- public areas in the hotel, by the pool were well looked after, all nice & clean
- free WiFi by the pool
- Room had fairly good size, the bed was a proper kingsize @ 2x2m, tea & coffee making facilities which I always appreciate

Cons:
- Bathroom often smelled like sewage
- Food: we only had breakfast but was a bit disappointing, it was the same everyday. Pastry was not so tempting, cheeses were of local quality...
- the hotel was full of Russian guests with All inclusive and I guess it brought the quality down a bit. They paid around 900 eur for 7 days all inclusive...

I can only say that it was acceptable for that trip, but next time i would find a better alternative.
