I have visited this hotel many times and it just gets better every time I go. The accommodation is great everything you could want a beautiful beach and swimming pools that are looked after by the great Mohamed and his wonderful team. The restaurant they cannot do enough for you if something is not on the menu then they will go out of their way to get it for you - you just have to ask. I cannot praise the cleaners who always go that extra mile to make you feel very special. The Reception and Management team also help in every way they can. They have a great Beauty salon on site so got my pedicure done at the same time as my hair !!!! It close to Naama bay but not to close and they have a shuttle bus which takes you there and brings you back for £4.00 bliss. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Room Tip: always ask for a sea room you will get one if they have one free

This hotel is by no means the standard one would expect from a 5 star hotel. We ended up leaving as soon as we could be moved to anther hotel. The grotty bathroom put us right off, holes in the bath, mould around the edges, crumbling grouting - all rather hazardous. We went to the reception to ask if all the bathrooms were all like this, as we would've been happy to move to a room with a clean one if available. A cleaner with a gammy finger was sent to scrub our bathroom, when we tried to explain that it wasn't a cleaning job it needed and that it needed refitting and redoing he didn't understand and kept on scrubbing at the stubborn mould. After being shown two of the apparently higher standard rooms we decided to leave, they were all as bad. Our holiday rep was with us, and completely agreed, but the manager got angry that the bathroom was proving such an issue and shouted "well you don't live in the bathroom", to which I tried to calm him down by saying that it wasn't him we had the problem with, it was the fact that the hotel advertises as 5 star standard and it would be lucky to meet 3 by most people's expectations. The same manager persisted in being rude to us as we were checking out, and insisted that my friend write a letter saying that she hadn't to a problem with the staff before we left!

The food was ok, but I guess they didn't have much on offer due to the hotel only being 20% occupied. Some of the staff in the restaurant were very rude. The all inclusive wine is disgusting, always warm and tasted like vinegar.

The pool bar near the quieter pool wasn't open, and the bar next door refused to let us in in swimwear, so to go and get our plastic cups of water (they didn't have bottled water) we had to get dressed - not ideal in 40 degree heat where plenty of water is essential. The other pool is very noisy, with big loud speakers blaring out euro trash music. The pool bar at the noisy pool doesn't serve all inclusive wine.

I wish we'd payed more attention to all the negative reviews of this hotel. I've learned my lesson now. I was really hoping to have a great time here and be able to give positive feedback. Unfortunately that isn't the case.

Room Tip: Just don't go in the first place!

The whole holiday was perfect from the room to the pools, beach ans food. The staff were amazing, Samuel and 'tall' Mohammed who worked the bars were brilliant and were always on hand to assist.
dive club were reasonably priced and helpful.
Restaurants were nice, especially the Italian which was second to none. Mohammed the restaurant manager for the olive tree restaurant was always smiling and willing to go the extra mile to make sure you had everything you needed.
the rooms were clean and spacious.
We were the only Brits in the resort, the rest were Russians who were extremely rude and brash which made the Egyptians upset. We were thanked at the end of our stay by reception for treating them like 'human beings'!
all in all, a wonderful holiday and we were sad to come home. 10/10

Spent a lovely 5 days in this resort. Staff were friendly once they realized we weren't Russian!
Food was pretty good esp the salad bar.
The room was comfortable and was worth the extra for a sea view.
My main criticism was the entertainment, well the lack of it. The bar was dark and miserable and used plastic cups! There was a singer in the cocktail bar but as it wasn't included in the AI rate no one was ever in there.
If you're looking for peace and relaxation for a few days I would definitely recommend it. But unless you're happy either leaving the resort every night or going to bed straight after dinner I probably wouldn't.

Room Tip: Sea view worth the extra.

Beautiful looking Hotel with wonderful staff. Once you look at the fine details though, this hotel has obviously been neglected of late in the maintenance and restocking area. Pool bar seat top was missing exposing 2 large jaggy screws where concrete seat top should have been. Next seat top had been badly reattached but still cracked. Pool side bar top (which swimmers lean on whilst drinking) was hanging precariously because the under support had fallen off and was lying in the pool. Bar top is made of concrete, so that's a nasty accident waiting to happen. Pool bar had no drinking water available for the first 9 days of our holiday.. Water available for 2 days then never available again. Pool bar only had 5 bottles of alcoholic drink an 2 bottles of soft drink available. This area was sadly sparse and dirty. No mid day snacks available as advertised in any area's of hotel. Sun lounger mattresses were ripped and dirty. Jacuzzi area's were not filled or available for use. Gym had no drinking water available.. Guests are only given 2 small bottles of water in their rooms per day, if you require more, you have to pay for it and room service to have it delivered as it can't be sold to you any other way. (£4 charge) Also, no milk in rooms to accompany tea/coffee making facilities. This has to be ordered and charged through room service also. On arrival, our duvets were stained with dried blood and other body fluids. Bath was filthy, shower curtain dirty and stained, lights not working in hall and bathroom and no drinking water in room. Reception said they would change duvet next day which I refused. So, it was after midnight before this was rectified after we had to go to reception personally because no one came for half an hour after complaint using room phone. All inclusive ends at midnight, so there was no food or tea/coffee/drink available for us once the room problems had been rectified. Lovely bar area adjacent to reception, but this bar is not included in the all inclusive, so you must pay for anything consumed there. Al inclusive bar was full of mosquitoes and the air con was never on or faulty, so it was too hot to sit in there. If you order tea in this bar (Los Amigoes) you are told to make it yourself at the end of the bar and only plastic cups are available which are not type appropriate for hot drinks. Food was good and the cakes were amazing. The new manager Mr Hasem was very approachable and helpful and seemed genuinely interested in obtaining feedback from guests. This hotel is definitely not a 5 star hotel. Furniture is tired and in need of replacing in many area's. The staff were lovely and try to help whenever they can. This hotel is predominantly occupied by Russian guests who are rude, abrupt and aggressive. Entertainment was geared for them, so there is very little for British guests unless you stay at the bar which is not part of the all inclusive. We were the only uk guests at the hotel although the hotel was very quiet with few guests. Hotel Taxi was double the price to go to Namma Bay or Soho Square than the regular outside Taxi's. Bus service was available, but it only allows you 2 hours in Namma & Soho before return pickup with a charge of $6. Return bus was regularly late on returning, meaning guests had nearly an hours wait for it to pick us up. All in all, this could be a fantastic hotel once money has been spent updating and repairing various area's, not gearing everything to please the Russian clientele and paying more attention to detail to what guests expect of a 5 star rated hotel and providing it without request.

Room Tip: Do not book a room next to main pool area next to 'Horizon' bar, very loud music.

Dont know where to start really , we have recently go back from a fabulous 8 day break (my partner) & I . I have to say Eygpt is a fantastic place & the local people make you feel like a King & Queen the service is that good & aided by the Russians ignorance makes the locals more eager to welcome us !
The coral on which the hotel is built is amazing & we got very special service from my good friend Mohamed Gooda & will one day return to see him ! Thanks mate
The food which we had heard many bad things was very good & always something on offer of difference which my partner & I like to try whilst abroad ( Provided the drunken ruskies left some)
We again came in for very special service from Mohamed Salah Noreldain who I would also like to thank for making our stay very comfortable & always went the extra mile to help not only us but the ever irritating & ignorant Russians !!
It was a truly memorable stay & we both didn't want to leave at the end of our vacation , In the bar in reception we met the really likable & friendly Abdo who helped us polish up our English swear words & phrases , Thanks . Also another thanks goes to his miserable boss Wagdy !!
Only joking the list of staff is to long to list .
I would like to thank all the staff for a fantastic time & I would recommend this hotel to anyone . Yes there are down sides like Eygptian tummy etc but that is a small price to pay for a truly fantastic experience & would also recommend a sea view
Many Thanks & see you all soon
Chris & Georgina

good but spoilt by small annoying things. We all enjoyed ourselves, Noise from loud music played around the swimming pool, luckly there are two pools so we could avoid this, but could still be heard in the room in the afternoons when we want a bit of time out of the heat.
They constantly ran out of cups for tea in the morning and at other times.
In the evening we had to insist on drinks in glasses rather than plastic beakers.
Snorkelling off the beach superb, a visit to the aqua parks a good day out.
Don't pay too much attention to other russian guests. we stayed for 8 nights and it ticked all the boxes for us.
