My sister & i stayed here from the 9th till 16th Feb , Rooms are large & clean with clean bath & beach towels everyday , The grounds of this hotel are amazing well kept & clean . The staff were always polite & hard working with special thanks to Aslem who works in the Seville bar who was always so happy to help . With so many places to eat you will always find something you like even for veggies like we are. The Italian restaraunt was the best but you can only book 1 night a week to eat there & the c view was great at lunchtimes .The only negative thing i would say about the Plaza is the owners need to spend some money on new furnishings at they are getting a bit shabby for a 5* , All in all a great relaxing holiday .

We stayed at this hotel 7th Feb to 21st Feb..........Our room was really large and comfortable if just a little dark..........fab pools (9) only one was heated the rest were freezing brrrrr!!!!........Food ok have a Hubby could'nt take all the sauces and spices but the restaraunt manager was wonderful and really looked after him. The staff were amazing and made us more than welcome........Was'nt too keen on the madhouse in the restaurant at meal times, not the staffs fault but some very rude guests.
Only down side was the fact that there were too many steps within the hotel and we were led to believe that there were only a few ( Red Sea Holidays please put this fact in your brochure). It is not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties but the staff do try to help with a golf buggy but that is in use most of the time.......just a shame because I could'nt use parts of the hotel even to the beach because of the volume of steps. This lets down the hotel but all credit to them the staff are the ones that make this hotel..........it could do with a bit of up-grading as it is a little tired and very very dated (a gem in it's hayday no doubt) Five star NEVER!! Three star definately. Staff SIX STAR.............Come on Red Sea Hotels help your staff out they deserve it!!!
All in all fab holiday meeting new friends.

Room Tip: We asked for a ground floor because of walking difficulties and they really accommodated us room num...

stayed here as a couple January 2012 for a week, very comfortable and large room, excellent facilities, the food was fine, the drinks were ok, but sometimes the cocktails had the wrong spirits, i guess because the barman doesnt drink and thinks we wouldnt know teh differnce between gin and vodka ? anyway we swam in the sea and the pool lazed on the sun beds all day, drank and danced every night (they have an on site night club) the only downside was the room cleaner knocking every day and being annoying, with different excuses towels, or beach towels etc, but basically looking for a tip.

ideal holiday for out of season travellers like us but maybe not this particular hotel.

We had a really good time but there were a few things that could be improved.

We went here for our honeymoon and spent extra for a room with a balcony only to later find out that all rooms have a balcony anyway. The room itself was lovely and the pools were great and it was close to the beach with a great selection of pools to pick from.

We had issues with the cleaner Mohammad who cleaned our room, on days he wouldn't actually clean the room at all. He also seemed to think my husband was Wayne Rooney (possibly my husbands fault for introducing himself as 'Wayne, like Rooney the footballer)... He then kept calling us special guest and asking us for a laptop, but not any laptop an apple mac..!! He even walked into the room on one occasion when I was in bed having a nap to speak to 'Mr Rooney about laptop'. This was out of order and made us feel uncomfortable, for the rest of the honeymoon we spent it hiding away from him and avoiding the room. We didn't want to report this because it is his lively hood. When we were checking out he was hovering around the room all day and kept wrapping the door, we had to grab our cases and run. I wasn't willing to leave any sort of tip (which we would have done before).

The food wasn't great, I'm a veggie and my husband is fussy but there was enough of a selection to be fair and the staff in the pizza and italian are lovely.

The main bar upstairs doesn't have the greatest staff they only really bother with you if you tip them constantly. £1 coins are their favourite. Even although it's allinclusive the bar closes at midnight and a lot drinks cocktails especially aren't included - I feel like they should be.

Friends that we met when we were there had lovely towel arrangements on their beds on the the last day and special occasions, we didn't get this... We were told of this honeymoon package but we never got any of it and when we asked we kept being told 'we'll sort it' but it never was sorted.

We had a great time nonetheless and I would go back but possibly to another hotel incase we were to bump into Mohammad and we met great friends when we were there too.

I have just returned from a week at the Sharm Hotel Resort/ Sharm Plaza. We were a bit confused when we were dropped off because the tour operator said the two hotels shared the same reception area. Turns out it is all one big resort- possibly just the standard of the accommodation was the difference.
We had opted for Sharm Resort- the accommodation was spacious and spotlessly clean. Room cleaned each day and fresh towels, including beach towels, provided daily if required.
The food was fabulous especially the al la carte restaurants which had to be booked a day or so in advance. We loved the Italian restaurant. Even the buffet was lovely- fresh and plentiful. The desserts were to die for!
The whole resort was extremely clean and well maintained. All of the swimming pools were immaculate- just freezing cold due to it being February!
Service around the whole resort was second to none especially by the Roman pool. Every member of staff did their best to assist. Sometimes in the evening at the entertainment the drinks service was a bit slow though.
Talking of evening entertainment.... that was the only downfall. One singer in particular was dire. Him being so bad was the entertainment! There was bingo one evening which each ticket was £1.50. We were a bit put out that the prizes were rubbish- 25% off in the shop, a free photo etc- so what happened to all the cash that they made? A cash prize would have been nice.
All in all I can't fault this place. We really tried hard to find something negative to say but came up with nothing in particular.
I would love to go back here and I would definately recommend it. As I said... I can't fault a thing.

Room Tip: All rooms are within a 5 minute walk of everything. Think the more expensive rooms were towards the...

Stayed here for 2 weeks in January. On the way from Airport, when approaching the hotel I wondered what we had let ourselves in for! Derelict, half finished buildings and lots of rubbish but his hotel certainly has a lot going for it! Once we were through the gates to the hotel, the gardens were really well maintained and reception area very spacious and efficient. Lovely spacious room with a terrace overlooking beautiful garden.

Only criticism we had was the self service restaurant. Most mornings we had to search for cuttlery and mugs for tea/coffee. Suggest they invest in more cuttlery and mugs. A la Carte restaurants were excellent.

All staff in bars, restaurants and on the beach excellent and courteous. No problem finding sunbeds.
Special thanks to Mohammed and Mustafa in Sevilles Tapas Bar for looking after us so well.

Hope to visit this hotel next year.
