My partner and I have just had 9 nights at the Sea Breeze. We arrived and were greeted with cooling cocktails and a swift check in and transfer to our room in block 15 room 22. Good sea views as requested and positioned fairly low down towards the waters edge but still only a two minute walk to the main terrace/main restaurant and entrance area. RAAMON at the front terrace bar thank you for your superb service and constant smile and attention. Mohamed in the middle pool bar...thank you for looking after MIchelle while I was off diving and for your swift service when we were at the middle pool.
AHMED in the main restaurant who moved down to Elements A La Carte you will be missed with your cheeky lines and warm approach to your customers. Sameh on the pool bar great service and attention to detail. The management team should be commended and every member of staff also. You all work so hard at ensuring the best possible service. The food is the best I have eaten in Egypt..and a good variety with themed nights. As good as many 4 star hotels in England The Shisha terrace needs looking at with regards to managing those people who do not turn up for their booked meal. The only annoying thing we experienced was rude holiday makers turning up one hour later than their booked Shisha meal time and then scoffing most of the food that had been prepared for the later booked tables !!! They should have politely been turned away and asked to rebook for another night or reminded that they are not the only people staying in the hotel !! Management take note please. A booking time is there for a reason. The limo drivers were both excellent and the reception staff helpful and polite at all times. We are returning in January for a week and will look forward to seeing your smiling welcoming staff again and enjoying your committed hospitality......Steve and Michelle.

I cannot put into words how much I loved this hotel! Me and my boyfriend stayed for two weeks from the 28th June and returned very early yesterday morning. We chose this hotel originally because of it's amazing reviews, and we sure did make a fantastic choice!!!
The hotel itself was spotlessly clean! Everything literally glistened as it was that well polished! As soon as we stepped off the shuttlebus from our transfer, it was clear how well the staff kept the hotel, the place was beautifully clean and the plants and flowers were really well kept. The staff couldn't be quick enough to help us with our luggage, and as soon as we walked through the doors we were welcomed with a welcome cocktail, which was gorgeous!
Checking in was quick and easy, we opted out of the room upgrade and were given room 1442, which was half way up the hill, perfect location as half way from bottom swimming pool (our favourite) and reception. The room was a good size, very spacious, clean, and the decoration was lovely with calming colours! The free air con was a god send, was also impressed with the free safe as i have been charged for the safe in other hotels that i have stayed in previously, and loved the fact that the tv had english channels! Our balcony over looked a beautiful little pool too! We had the most amazing towel art during our stay from our lovely cleaner, Mohammed. He also gave us a huge bottle of water daily, fresh towels, and tea and coffee. The hairdryer in the room works really well, so no need for anyone to bring their own! When we first went on the balcony, we discovered that our balcony door wouldn't shut properly, but after a quick call to reception, by the time we'd returned to our room a few hours later, there was a completely new lock fitted on the balcony door!! The bathroom was nice and open, which i liked! The shower was also nice and refreshing after a long day in the hot Egyptian sun! However, i did find the shower quite cold and wouldn't go very warm, which with the super strong air con i would have liked a slightly warmer shower, but all in all it was good!
The 'deep' pool near the beach was our favourite pool! It had a great swim up bar and an AMAZING bar man, Sameh! Sameh literally made our holiday, he remembered our drinks, always bought us fresh fruit kebabs and cold drinks when we were on the sun beds and always welcomed us with a big smile! Cold towels were also bought around the pool which was a god send!!! The entertainment team were based down at the deep pool during the daytime, who were actually the best entertainment team i've seen in all the hotels that i have been to! Kataya and her team provided really good entertainment and weren't pushy at all towards people who just wanted to chill and not join in. The entertainment wasn't cheesy in the slightest and was enjoyable to watch. When up at the entertainment area in the evening, the entertainment was also great, with different acts each night, including different dance shows, fire shows, magic shows and acrobatics! The entertainment was great to watch, and once again, the barmen made the holiday by always ensuring you never had an empty glass! The staff at the hotel literally couldn't do enough for you!
I really enjoyed the food at Xperience Sea Breeze! The themed nights in the Tiran Restuarant were on a two week rota so that you never had the same theme twice, and the staff always dressed up according to the nights theme, like in mexican hats for mexican and indian robes for indian. The food was lovely! Always a huge choice for dinner! And there was a chocolate fountain! Fresh salad was also constantly available through mealtimes! If you didn't fancy/like any of the food available on that night, there was a pasta station where you could have a fresh pasta meal cooked specially infront of you with your chosen ingredients! I really enjoyed the evening meals! We went to the Shisha rooftop bbq once for free, and really enjoyed that, very lovely food! For our lunches, we didn't really venture up the hill to the Tiran, and ended up eating our lunch in elements, which is free of a lunch time! Theres a menu to choose from, with different sandwiches, burgers, pizza etc.. The chicken pizza is lovely! For breakfast, we ate at the Tiran Restuarant, which had a great breakfast selection and the most beautiful omelletes! Every morning i had an ommelete which a chef would cook infront of you and you could choose what you wanted in it!
The shops in the hotel were also good! Would definitely recommend the bag shop, where i got extremely good Micheal Kors bags.. £20 each but the quality was astounding!
Your bar was our favourite bar! I've seen on here people moaning about the fact that all the cocktails weren't free, but i didnt see this as a problem! The free cocktail menu was lovely! I liked the Jamaican Cocktail best and my boyfriend liked the Jackhammer. They also did a nesquik hot chocolate which was lovely, and took me back to my childhood!
The free bus to Naama bay is a must, we had a hard rock cafe meal for dinner one night there, and came to £30 for two of us including drinks! Bargain seeing as in america it cost almost double that!!!! Also they have a fish foot spa in Naama bay which i was dying to do, but we'd spent so much time amazed by everything else there that we didnt have enough time before the bus went! Would really recommend a trip up there!
We booked two great trips with the guys down the beach, which were the speed boat and boat cruise! The speedboat trip is a must do! Only cost £20 per person, we snorkelled in three different places and it was beautiful.. AND WE SAW DOLPHINS CHASING THE SPEEDBOAT! The other boat trip was also incredible! £35 each for a whole day on the boat, lunch, drinks, a snorkelling guide and many different snorkelling locations around Ras Mohammed!!!
The beach itself was also lovely at the hotel, i loved the fact that you could snorkel off the jetty. The sea was clear and you could see so many different fish!!
Towards the end of the holiday i got a poorly tummy, but i dont think that this is from the hotel at all! i think it was from a trip to Cairo i did in the last week!
I didn't find the hill much of a problem, in fact, the walk made me fitter and helped me to burn off some holiday weight, which is a good thing as im a member of slimming world!!! If the hill did get too much, there is a free bus up the hill available, so the hill was no problem at all!
The only recommendation i would make for this hotel would be for it to have more clocks around the building, like in the reception for example, as when we had to catch transfers etc it was hard to know what the time was! But apart from that i cannot fault the hotel! The staff couldnt do enough for you, the place was spotlessly clean, the entertainment was fantastic and so was the food! Very good value for money and i will 100% be returning!!!

Room Tip: We had room 1442, which was in the middle between everything! Brilliant room!

i have just come back from a week with my husband. I have never been to Egypt before so was a bit apprehensive but it was great. i upgraded to a deluxe seaview room and it was well worth it a very big room and a great view. The hotel had various restaurants which some you have to pay for Masala the Indian was great ate there twice and it was reasonable as you get 25% off the food. Elements that is towards the beach is very nice but you have to pay full price. The buffet restaurant was also nice and personally i am not really a lover of buffet but to be fair there was a big selection for dinner and breakfast. lunch we had at Elements that was included in the All Inclusive. there are 5 pools different sizes we always sat round the bottom pool near the beach area. Various activities are offered Darts/Yoga/Aqua Aerobics/ etc. Music is played round this pool and at times can be quite loud which did not bother us but may not suit everyone as it was played between 10.00 am to 1pm and then from around 3pm until 5pm so if you want peace then maybe best to use another pool. Drinks were delivered to us very regularly without having to ask and never had a problems with drinks at the pool bar which some reviews are stating. The staff i found were very good and we tipped them at the end for the ones that stood out. There are shops in the hotel that are very reasonable a recommendation is Joseph who runs the shops with the handbags and purses very good quality and good prices. Personally i would not change Turkish money before you go as got a better rate out there and to be honest they take English anyway.
Please note that the hotel is bulit on different levels so if you end up in block 15 to 18 then it is a fair walk up hill to the reception and the main restaurant so if anyone struggles to get about could be a problem
Please note that the Duty Free at the airport only takes cash not cards
i would recommend this hotel and as the hotel is adults only we are considering going back next year

Room Tip: it was in some parts of the hotel

This was my 7th visit to Egypt and after reading all of the excellent reviews we decided to book this hotel only after we have returned home do we feel 80% of the reviews are very misleading.

We paid for an upgrade on the room and were in block 18 with fantastic views right next to the pool overlooking the sea, we felt it certainly was not worth the money as the "jacuzzi" is simply a jacuzzi bath the hotel next door play music and activities ridiculously loud until 1:30 am.

The food was ok, on a few occasions we struggled to find food that we both liked. Ate in the Indian restaurant twice which was really nice, special mention to Mahmoud who was probably the most helpful and friendliest person there.

We were constantly hassled around the pool or beach and even noticed people who had do not disturb signs up we're just ignored and hassled the same by so many different people on a daily basis, half of the time there was no staff at the pool bar you could stand waiting ten minutes just for Sameh to return and ignore you whilst he made some drinks then he would disappear to deliver them to other guests who had obviously tipped him. Numerous occasions he would walk past and bring drinks to various people all around us only to ignore us and everybody else. On one occasion when he was making milkshakes he said they were not all inclusive after he had made a tray full then delivered them all around the pool to at least 5 different people.

Philip our cleaner in block 18 was excellent always very friendly and helpful also the towel guys at the bottom pool were excellent.

It's an ok hotel but just let down by the feeling that a lot of the staff expect tips off you and everybody gets treated differently according to how well you tip them.

We have just returned from two fabulous weeks at this hotel. What can I say, the staff are fantastic, polite and very attentive. Special thanks to Ibrahim who managed the pools and beach areas, he took time every day to check with us and other guests, making sure all was well with us. It was clear he was very proud of his team and the standard of work they maintained. While sitting round the pool ( with the slide ) we were regularly given drinks, ice cream, melon on sticks by Abdulla who was never still. The rooms are kept very clean, with tea and coffee making facilities. We upgraded to a sea view, nice but most of the rooms had acceptable views. The food we thought was lovely, each night was a themed country on a two week rotation. Also there was an option for pasta if nothing took your fancy. The larger pools had snack facilities, but if you wanted to get out of the sun, the main restaurant served lovely salads and a large variety of dishes. The restaurant was well managed and clean, the waiters especially Ahmed,we're very attentive. The hotel is on quite a steep slope leading down to the beach but there is a regular mini bus going up and down picking people up and dropping you off in between at the various blocks well done Anton! We also had a meal at the Masala restaurant which is situated by one of the pools, a lovely romantic setting with music and soft lighting, waited on by Mahmoud who did all he could to please. The food was delicious with a bottle of bubbly to make it special. My husband informed the hotel that it was our anniversary while there, they provided us with a bottle of wine bowl of fruit and a lovely chocolate cake. The entertainment I can't comment on as we never watched it, being quite happy to sit in the main bar chatting to other guests. There are no children at this hotel which was a big plus for us and most of the other guests we spoke to, making the atmosphere very relaxed and calm. I would like to thank Mr Basin and all of his staff for making our stay so enjoyable. We have returned feeling chilled and relaxed, a brilliant stay, we will come back.

Room Tip: Blocks 12, 13, 14 are sort of midway down the slope, all have quite a nice view. We stayed in block...

Stayed here last September when this was a family hotel (I now understand it's gone adults only) and honestly couldn't complain for the price. The hotel has about four/five pools catering for each block of apartments descending down its steep slope (not the best for anybody with disabilities) and every one was well kept and clean with its own bar and attentive server. The hotel itself is a nice sight with some really nice décor.

The rooms are not five star standard (I would say three star) but for the price I couldn't argue with the cleanliness and room service, bathrooms very nice and each apartment with its own balcony.

As a bloke who likes a good drink, I found the AL alcohol a bit weak with them serving half measures of beer and spirits with not much of a kick to it, but this was a family resort so perfectly understandable at the time. They will also charge you for some spirits and certain beers.

Loved the food, there was a different country theme every day on a two week rota so never struggled for variety though some people will be taken back by the breakfast options (remember this is a Muslim country) with substitutes for your more traditional breakfast pieces, so don't expect the bacon and sausages to be what you're used to back home.

The staff on a whole were great, with special mentions for Reva & Mohammed, great guys who couldn't do enough for you. An overall great stay and would come back to this hotel.

Plus points

Lovely pools, gorgeous beach front and bars.
Nice exterior and decor very classy
Staff very attentive and friendly (barring one/two)
Food variety and the rooftop kebab lounge!

Negative points

Hotel situated on a VERY steep hill, good exercise though and there is a bus running up and down.

Don't expect to get drunk on the AL alcohol.
