I try for 10 minutes to think what I wrote about the hotel, but I do not know what else might say, except THANK YOU on the beautiful time spent with you. To me you are THE BEST. When the time comes vacation, come again. Such beauty I want to experience again. Such a friendly relationship, such beauty of animal life in the sea, the kind of peace ...
Thanks again and see soon.

We have just returned from a four night stay at the Stella di Mare and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.
Working for an airline I have had the pleasure of staying in some very nice hotels around the world and this hotel certainly matches up to the best of them.
We arrived very early in the morning so were unsure if we would be allowed in to our room but to our surprise and pleasure after a short wait in reception we were shown to our room on the eighth floor with lovely views of the bay. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean with a well equipped bathroom and well stocked mini bar.
The pool and beach areas were also very well furnished and attended with iced water, melon and cooling spray available throughout the day. A special mention should go to Eid who worked at the swim-up bar. By the second day he had memorised our name which was a nice touch and made you feel very welcome.
The food was varied and of a very good quality. We were all-inclusive and one tip I would give to people would be to make sure you also visit the two alternative ' a la carte' restaurants during your stay. You do need to book but as long as you stick to the set-menu (still offering a choice) it is included in your all-inclusive package.
Overall we had a wonderful stay. The hotel is beautifully decorated, spotlessly maintained and all the employees offered a very high level of service. I have already recommended it to a work colleague and would very happily return.

We, like many others had read numerous reviews on Trip Advisor, before coming across the review for Stella Di Mare and knew straight away that the hotel must be special to recieve so many excellent reviews.
We stayed for a week on a half board basis from 18th sept and were not disappointed. The lobby was immaculate, check in was very quick and we were taken to our room with our welcome drink. I was lead in with orders to keep my eyes shut and when I opened them I was on the balcony looking out to a spectacular night time view (room 722).
The bed and pillows were the most comfortable hotel ones I'd ever experienced (actually better than my own)! No disturbed sleep throughout our visit (but we did wear earplugs as well). The rooms are very well equipped and spacious and like the rest of the hotel, spotlessly clean.
The food at breakfast was brilliant, the egg station for omelettes, fried or scrambled eggs was just the best, the fresh juices delicious and as for the pastries.....! Dinner was just as good, different food each night along with salads, breads, pasta station and puddings galore. The white wine was very, very nice. We dined inside and out and both were equally relaxing. Neither of us had tummy problems and we ate salads, had ice cubes (the hotel informed me they use Nestle water) and this is down to the hotels high standards of cleanliness and the way they keep the buffet piping hot or well chilled depending on what it is. Judging from half the people on our return flight guests from different hotels were not so lucky! So if you are worried about food poisoning, don't be.
We spent our time relaxing at the main pool with the fabulous huge umbrellas, the young towel man was quick to set your lounger up with fresh towels and adjust the umbrella, then came round spraying iced, scented water to cool you down along with melon and cups of ice cold water. We also used the spa pool later in the afternoon, this was very quiet and relaxing with padded loungers and a lovely waterfall feature.
The snorkelling was amazing, plenty of beautiful fish, definitely worth taking mask, snorkel and flippers with you.
We ventured into Naama Bay once (and for us once was enough)! We preferred to have a leisurely dinner then relax at the hotel.
A huge bonus for us was the lack of screaming children running around! We loved the fact it was mainly couples staying as it made our stay even more relaxing!
The staff at the hotel are all very friendly and cannot do enough for you. We were treated like royalty and appreciated how hard they all work to create such a high class hotel.
We would definitely go back at some point.

imagine layed on your sun lounger, being sprayed down with water and elder flower, broughts drinks of water and fruit, and even your sunglasses cleaned for you while you lay and relax!! It was all done here all day every day. Food looked and tasted delicious. Dressing gown and slippers in your room. We walked into Narma Bay in just over 5 mins, and yet you are on the edge of the bay. Staff were always very happy to help. Grand piano being played whilst you have drinks in one area. Fantastic views and facilities. Highly recommended. I have friends already booking to go. I will certainly go again.

We have just returned from our trip to Sharm where we stayed in Stella di Mare from 15th to 25th September, so with memories still fresh and before the daily work life routines take over, I promised myself to write a review of our unforgettable experience there. There were three of us in our party - my 82-year-old mother, my husband and I. We have booked two standard de luxe rooms in Stella via Travel Republic after lots of searching & browsing and I am glad to say we have never regretted the choice!
We have stayed in rooms 530 & 531 on the 5th floor with beatiful sea views. There are 8 floors in Stella, with main entrance & reception being on the 7th, La Terrazza (main buffet restaurant), shops, the Bubbles (discotheque) on the 3rd. From the 3rd floor you will go out to the central pool with the bar, there are other pools on different hotel levels (Stella is amazingly built into the rock and goes down to the sea level) - on the 4th floor next to the Spa centre there was our favourite outside Jacuzzi pool ( spacious, quiet, with comfortable soft sun-beds ) where we went every afternoon and stayed in full shadow until late... There is another pool (with adjacent pool for kids) on the 1st floor level - water gym session at 11:30 attracted us into this one :-). The hotel does not have a 'traditional beach' - understandably though, as right at the shore there are beautiful coral reefs with loads of colourful fish. From the jetty or (better) from the second bridge further away close to La Scogliera Restaurant, you can snorkel along the reef and delight yourself with variety of the sea world - you don't even need to take boat trips as you have your own great coral reef at the hotel door step!
The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. The beds so comfortable with egyptian cotton linen you won't want to get out of them.
And the food! Great variety for everyone's taste! It was difficult not to put on weight as you want to try many things and 10 days were not enough to do this. With my sweet tooth, I found the sweets especially delicious, but indeed everything else was, too. Lots of compliments to the Chef (s)! We stayed half-board which I think was ideal if you want to venture out for excursions during the day, occasionally we had lunch in the hotel, on other days found that fruit & drinks during the days were enough to keep us going in hot weather...
All of the above add to your total appreciation of the experience in the hotel, but really the main thing which stands out is the Top Service you get everywhere - attentive, polite, smily personnel with these 'little touches' making you feel welcome - offering to clean your glasses on the beach, spraying you with flavoured ice water, bringing melon & other fruits to the pool areas... Having been to many hotels in the world (both business & leisure), I can say Stella compares favourably ( I can only compare the service we got here with 5 and 5+ star hotels in Cancun, Mexico which I thought was unsurmountable before finding similar level of service in Stella!).
During our stay we could observe how Stella employees dealt with a problem. One day we discovered water in the wardrobe (!) in our room, many of our clothes became wet. It was around mid-night but we didn't want to wait until morning fearing it will become worse and called the reception. Almost immediately, the house-keeping personnel was in our room and identified that this was caused by air-conditioners. Though they fixed a problem, but we were offered to move to another room (528) which we did. The housekeeping manager offered to take all our wet clothes to the laundry, courtesy of the hotel, of course, and next evening it was delivered to us clean & ironed. Next day we have also got a bowl of fruit.... So things can happen, but this incident did not leave us with a bad feeling as it was dealt with professionally.
We went on 3 excursions - visited St.Catherine's Monastery, went to see Alf Leila Wa Leila (1001 Arabian Nights) show and went on a glass boat excursion. Liked the experience of all three, though I am blaming the lunch at St.Catherine's restaurant for my upset stomach afterwards (managed to cure it using the advice on Trip Advisor forums - bought Antinal at Naama Bay's pharmacy (a pack of 12 capsules for 3 days at 20 LE).

Hotel Shops. I've read some people found the behaviour of the shop assistants there not much better than in Sharm. This was not our experience. Dr Fadi, for example, did a good selling job (we left with goodies worth 50$), but did it professionally through a pleasant friendly conversation with welcome drinks of carcade tea.... Another guy selling T-shirts was not aggressive at all either... So may be lessons were learnt after previous reviews.

Are there any things where Stella can do better? Not many, but will mention a couple:

1) Getting to Naama Bay. Though Stella is just 5-10 mins drive from Naama and there are 4 free shuttle bus trips a day ( 10 am, 4 pm, 8 pm and 9 pm with trips back at 12:30, 7 pm, 11 pm and midnight), we wanted to try and walk to Naama in the evening (when it's not too hot). Some people indicated in other reviews, it may be possible (though not for people with walking problems..), so we tried to get through the neighbouring Halomy & another hotel (forgot the name), but were stopped by the personnel there and had to retreat back. Something for the management of Stella to think of for the future - either make agreements with the neighbouring hotels to allow Stella guests to pass through or think of alternative path to Naama... It's a shame of being so close and not being able to walk there.
2) Water. In the hotel a big bottle of mineral still water costs 20 LE (2.30 £), in local shops in Naama - 3 LE (0.35£). In hot climate you have to drink (and do) a lot. Personally, we have not been stopped to bring the water from the outside to the hotel.
Believe that water should be sold in the hotel at the same or slightly higher price than in town, but not 7 times more expensive...
3) Entertainment. There were variety show programmes in some evenings and musical programme every night, and the quality of animation teams dancing was not bad, but still consider it to be an area where improvement is required... Nothing to compare with entertainment shows we have seen in Mexico, for example, or at the best of the cruise ships. There was not much publicity of the shows either - at the information desk or at the entrance to La Terrazza you would want to see in advance what will go on a particular evening... A good host during the show could also make a difference....

Overall, we are very pleased with our stay at Stella and would definitely recommend it to anyone! Book it - you will not be disappointed!

Many thanks to the management and all the personnel at this remarkable hotel for making our stay so admirable!

Dear TripAdvisor Member,

WE LOVE YOUR COMMENT!!! We strive daily to do our upmost to deliver first-class facilities and services in a world-class fashion.

With regards to your suggestions, we are looking at some options to facilitate an easier access to Naama Bay and believe to reach a favorable outcome in the period to come.

Since October 1st, we have decreased the water prices and are as well granting customers daily complementary mineral water in rooms. Note that we had already, at various moments of the day and as a regular service, provided the pools and beaches with complementary glasses of ice water and offered as well glasses of water during the meals’ periods.

We are in perpetual enhancement of the evening entertainment and the teams are rehearsing hard to continuously add new performances to the program. We will review the advertisement of such events to ensure that broad information is delivered on time to customers.

Dear VickyLargs, thank you for this great review and the privilege to have had you in residence at Stella Di Mare Sharm Beach Hotel & Spa. We look forwarding to welcoming you in the very near future.
