Its a beautiful hotel with staff that make you feel special, we have been their 3 times and hope to go back again. we were there for Christmas and the New Year and its was fantastic. There is plenty to do if you want or just relax by the pools or the beach or just melt away in the warm jacuzzi and spa before making a big decision as to what to eat!!!! p.s the beds are sooo comfy.

We are a family of 4 with 2 kids of ages 2 and 4 and this trip has been the most amazing and relaxing one we could have ever asked for. Stella Di Mare is truly a 5 star experience. They have taken into consideration the minutest of details and made an excellent effort for us to have an effortless relaxing vacation. The service was awesome. You just have to mention something and it was there within minutes! Very welcoming, friendly and kid friendly activities like baby disco for kids to keep them busy and the kids club made it so much easier for parents! The facilities we par excellence. The quality of everything to top class! It is just the perfect place to spend a perfect vacation! Definitely will recommend it to everyone. Oh yes and the bed was the most amazingly comfortable bed I have ever experienced!

Like others, when we booked the holiday the hotel was #2 on Trip Advisor so was worried that the ratings had dropped before we went.
From the first moment we got there all fears were gone.
La Terrazza had a great range of food and every meal was varied and tasty. Mustapha looked after us very well and always met us with a smile and a handshake.
The Corallo Rosso restaurant was superb and although this was extra was worth every penny.
The Beach Bar food was very good and as long as you didn't hit the prime times, you could always get a table.
Whilst sun bathing the Beach/Lounger guys always looked after us and they even cleaned your sunglasses in the afternoon.
All in all, this hotel was far better than expected and recommended to anyone who is going to Sharm.

The only negatives would be too many Russians who smoked all over the place, and maybe the hotel was a little too far from the centre but these are only slight.

As I say, this was a great hotel great rooms and we highly recommend the Villas away from the main block for that extra serenity and peace.

Well done everyone at Stella di Mare.

Great hotel with first class room service! Recommend bed and breakfast only for people keen to get out and about at night; there are loads of restaurants to sample in Naama Bay (at various proce ranges) and the hotel's free shuttle bus was great for getting in and out (book in advance as it does get full). Great room service with friendly staff. Cleaning staff left towel arrangements every now and then which was always a lovely surprise - we had an elephant, crocodile and swans, all decorated with petals! As scuba divers we looked around in town for a good deal but went with the hotel diving school in the end for ease and negotiated a reasonable price. Instructor was very helpful and friendly and even took us out for a traditional Egyptian meal in the more local part of town at the end, which was a great experience. Great pools with fantastic spa-pool and always loads of free sun-loungers for stress-free lounging! We emailed ahead asking for a room on a high floor with a good view and weren't disappointed. Great hotel, weather, diving and lovely holiday.

Room Tip: Rooms on the spa side were quieter but slightly better views on the other side.

An important first point: when we arrived, our (cheap choice of) room wasn't ready, so we were very kindly upgraded to a suite. So our perception of value is probably quite honeyed.

The place was incredible. The hotel was very elegant, very clean and the sea view from the hotel room was breathtaking. The hotel staff were the height of professionalism, and spoke excellent English, among the several other tourist languages that they needed to speak (Italian and Russian especially). The hotel grounds were huge and immaculately kept, with very pleasing features. The facilities offered seemed comprehensive though we spend a lot of time in Naama Bay, so did not try them all. Room service was very good on the whole, and their style in rolling in the whole table ready to serve was nice. The suite itself was very spacious, consisting of a walkway into the living room, which bordered onto the bedroom. The bathroom was gigantic and there was a walk-in wardrobe, while the balcony was big enough to enjoy dinner on. The mattress on the bed was the best I have ever lain on. Our suite was close enough to the lobby to catch the Wi-fi usually, but when we asked we were given a cable connection for our room. The room also had a Lavazza espresso maker and two flatscreens, one for the bedroom, one for the living room. The lobby bar was very nice, and was a great place to sit while planning where to go in Naama bay or sorting out flight check-ins etc, or just to read. The hotel has several restaurants; I can only talk about the Corallo Rosso, which we tried and was excellent - fancy restaurant with relatively high prices but the food was outstanding and still a lot less than it would be here. The disco also sounded good, though we didn't try it.

The hotel is a bit of a walk from Naama Bay (it's in Naama Bay in principle, just quite far round from the main area people call Naama Bay), at about maybe 20-30 minutes to the beach, though we didn't know exactly where to go. There is a shuttle bus that runs at 5 times a day but to be honest the taxis are 20-30 LE (a little over £2-3) each way, which is hardly going to be the thing which breaks your holiday budget, so this really isn't an issue.

On the whole, the hotel was fantastic and the only problem now is that while I would normally want to try several new holiday destinations before returning to the Red Sea, this hotel is tempting me otherwise!

This was one of my best holidays ever. We were 2 families consisting of 4 adults and 3 children ( all under 4 ) and found the one week stay memorable. I have detailng my experience for guidance to other travellers.

Before travelling: contacted guest relations( which i would recommend if you want to make sure they understand your needs) received prompt reply and had all the requirements met on arrival including baby cot, connecting rooms etc.

Airport transfer: 40 USD one way for the whole party in a clean and punctual bus. highly recommended.

Check in : A breeze, speedy and very friendly reception staff, paper work done in 5 minuted and keys handed over.

Rooms: had booked super deluxe with ocean view on 2nd floor ( reception on 7th floor as hotel on a cliff and all the action downstairs...) room was immaculate, bed was the best i had experience with comfortable Egyptian cotton linen and pillows, getting up in the morning was a struggle.House keeping were efficient and punctual.

Pools/ beach: 2 pools with warm water and very clean. Children pool was good fun. man made beach id clean and well looked after, efficient beach staff for towels drinks etc. Coral off the beach is beautiful better than what i found on tiran island cruise... loved it.

Food: Was on half board basis and enjoyed the variety of breakfast and dinner again the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Staff: Brilliant starting from reception staff to bell boys and room service, prompt, friendly and keen to help.

I would definitely recommend staying in this resort if you value quality of service, friendly staff and hygiene coupled with breath taking views and wonderful snorkelling.

Room Tip: Go for ocean view, less noisy than the pool view rooms.

This was our first trip to Sharm. We travelled here on the 1st January as a family with two teenage boys (19yrs & 17yrs) on an all-inclusive package. Our intention was to complete the PADI Open Water course. We phoned the Dive School on the first day and Vania was really helpful and talked us through what the course entailed and invited us down to be measured up for our equipment. They let us have our snorkel and mask that day which allowed us to first experience the amazing fish that feed on the coral stacks off the Jetty.

'Sam' Bright Sky tour rep tried to promote another Dive School outside the complex. With all the add ons it would have been much more expensive and more hassle.
By using the hotel Dive School we were able to lunch at the hotel and rest in our room between dives or theory lessons.

Our 4 day dive course was demanding but great fun. We have to say a huge thank you to Zezo (Azad) for his infinite patience and guidance. Especially with my reluctant underwater mask removal!!! All the staff at the Dive Centre were so helpful and friendly and they really made the course for us. Our safety was paramount to them and they demonstrated fantastic flexibility when our youngest was too ill to complete the final day with us. They let him do it the following day at no extra charge.

This place was a great place to dive for novices, the coral stacks at the Jetty were amazing and attracted all kinds of exotic fish and on our final dive we had a wild dolphin swim with us about 3 metres away. Breathtaking and a once in a lifetime memory. The day before other divers had seen a turtle!! We all passed the practical and theory and can't recommend this school highly enough.

The hotel was very nice and clean and we agree with the comment about the need for another bar in the winter months as the seating was at a premium in the evenings. This would not be a problem in the summer months as there are numerous outside places to relax.
The service was slow on occasion but not really too much of a problem.

The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. Shower could have been more powerful but hey ho! Our cleaner was excellent.

Restaurants and Food:
Were good, there was a good selection. The 'Corollo Rosso' restaurant offered a set menu and then served something completely different without explanation. When challenged, the matire D' said he liked to surprise his guests...hmmmm!! The Oriental restaurant was our favourite. We enjoyed the Orient Show.
The food could be repetitive if staying for more than one week.

Staff: All the staff were excellent and really went out of their way to help you without the expectation of being tipped. It would have been really helpful if the reception staff kept more smaller denomination notes to assist with tipping. Twice, reception were unable to assist us with this service.

Plus Points:
Coral reef at the end jetty
Dive School on site
Friendly, helpful staff
Clean, comfortable rooms (and ours were the most basic ones)
Food good, great variety
Nice but not cheap SPA
Great views
Nice piano music in lobby bar in evenings
All the guests were well mannered and the children (whilst being children) were not a nuisance to others, it is after all a family hotel, in the school holiday season.

Cons:
Some more variety in where you can sit in the winter evenings
We suggest another bar or table service on the public seating on floors 5 and 6
No nice walks outside the complex or along coast

Without hesitation we would recommend this hotel and Dive School
