The work up to the real business was tedious, sitting around a "Bedouin camp" for hours in the afternoon, a skimpy BBQ meal, but then when night descends it all changes. Actually we went in March. You need winter clothing or freeze. There are powerful telescopes, you see Saturn's rings, the guide explains the heavens and it is all worth the wait.

Loved the information given regarding the astrological signes which were pointed out in detail. Very dark at the Bedouin Camp once the sun set! Interesting trip.

The 40min. camel ride was a laugh, the beddouin tea and the camp was lovely, the campfire and dancing was good too. Watch the cheeky camel boys they ask for tips! 10 or 20 is enough. Take hand sanitizer and mossy spray. A jumper/hoody for night and a scarf too!A brill trip !

Star viewing and talk really good, food nice and so was the beduin tea. I did get a sore backside from the camel ride but its all part of the experience.

This was by far my favorite trip. We arrived in the desert and got onto Camles, and taken to the Bedwin site, where we were greeted with the traditional sweet tea. Then we leanred how to make the bread- which was fun to try (don't just watch, join in if you want), Then climed a small mountain and watched the sunset (brath taking) After which we had a traditional dinner, and dance (great fun) and after we went star gazing. The clearest view of the stars i have ever seen, plus i got a picture of jupiter through the telescope :) I would advise laying down to get the best view or you will get a crick in your neck! Definaetly do this!
