If you like beaches, swimming and snorkeling then this would be a good trip foe anyone. However, if you book with a vendor, always be sure to search for and haggle for a better price, don't be shy otherwise you will be ripped off. Il Mercato has good vendors.

There is no way to imagine how beautiful Ras Mohamed is! The area is very well protected, clearly, and compared to other areas in the Red Sea, the coral is in good condition, and the marine life is abundant! You can see hard and soft corals of all varieties, and millions of fish in all the colours of the rainbow. I saw a huge family of crabs, they were massive, and really colourful too!
The beaches are beautiful too, it really is like a quiet paradise.
The only real issue is the amount of time you spend hanging around at the marina in the morning, waiting for the police permissions. They are so slow. I waited for more than an hour! But it was well worth the wait to be fair! And I suppose, if you go knowing that you will have to wait around in the beginning, then you wont feel frustrated by it.
I went by boat, and then by road the day after, because I just wanted to get straight back there! Both ways were great, but the snorkelling is better boat side.
I will definitely go again. Everyone should visit!

Went diving for 3 days with Elite Divers, had a wonderful time, great service and friendly staff. Saw huge rays, lion fish, tuna, jelly fish and loads more. Great lunch on the boat too!

A wonderful Egyptian natural park in Sinai near Sharm el sheikh where you can see colored fish, coral reefs, climb mountains, see the magical lake, the earthquake effects, rare animals, the mangaroof canal & camp.
