This has to be potentially one of the best located hotels in Hurghada. Enjoying an end-position on Makadi bay, it enjoys 5 to 6 separate beaches, each which are private and away from all the other hotels, and being built into a hill, many of the rooms enjoy enviable sea views.
We stayed in one of the bungalow rooms - which is well worth the upgrade. Fantastic room with our own private garden area and views of the sea. The room was huge with an equally big bathroom. Unfortunately the water came through red and muddy so we could not enjoy the huge sunken bath which was the feature piece, but apart from that, the room was great.
Thats where the good points stop.
The food at this hotel is terrible, and unless you are willing to eat outside of the hotel, or bring your own food, then there is no point staying at this hotel.
The buffet restaurant food is bland, with a very small selection of food (although doubled or tripled up throughout the restaurant), and food does not change throughout the week. Every night there is one fish option, a dubious meat option, some potatoe option, and some pasta. Trust me - theres only so much pasta you can eat! As this was the safest option!
The food is very much geared up to cater for Russian tastes.
On our second night, my wife had a worm in her food. When we told the restaurant manager, he simply took the plate away and did not even apologise!
We then complained to the management, and made it clear that we would not eat in any of their buffet restaurants for the remainder of our stay, and expected to have fresh food cooked for us in the a la carte restaurants each night. The management were very good and provided this, however it did not take away the fact that the food variation is terrible and quality is highly questionable.
Now, although russians on occasion may be rude or pushy, touching the food with their hands, nice for the next guests - however this should not mean they are treated any differently. The hotel seems to have recognised that some other European guests do not like the attitude of the russians, and so have setup a second buffet restaurant purposely for 'Western Europeans'. If you are not italian, german or English, you are refused entry.
Horrifying that an african country in this century is supporting segregation!
Anyway, the hotel needs to improve the quality of the food, and if that means raising the prices, that may sort out a few of their other problems as well.
Would stay away from this hotel until they get the food issue sorted out. A pity really as it is such a beautiful hotel in a perfect location.

Room Tip: Choose a bungalow room with a sea view

We have just returned from 4 weeks winter break The hotal was excellent value for money and the staff were dedicated to enable guests to have the best time with as little hassel as was possible. From the bell boy taking your luggage, reception attention togetherwith bar staff, waiters and housekeeping all were always polite, friendly and professional. The hotel was clean and the gardens (although their winter) very well kept and these complimented the natural beauty of the bay. We paddled and snorkeled with vivid coloured fish and watched families enjoying the Animation Team who were encouraging but not pushy. We joined the bowls and darts and watch really good comedy shows and dance comps. Unfortunately I had to visit the in-house pharmacy and clinic and the doctors were very caring, professional, (something from UK ) and was not expensive. We have been to Egypt many times and already will return to the Al Nabilia next year.

Room Tip: We stayed in the main hotel which was excellent with excellent views and any minor problems or requests were dealt with immediately, so no waste of time for your stay. We did meet people who had bungleows who also send they were spacious and great. Exce;;ent for a long winter break we have just returned from 4 weeks, and I usually have itchy feet, but did not want to come home. Beach is a paradise and the staff are dedicated to making your stay special.

Hotel is located on the edge or hill and surrounded by villas. Area is very big, there is a lot of walking to reach restaurant or you villa (iof you don´t have a room in the main building. There is bus connection between up and downside, but not everytime you need. But it is a holiday and some walks do not matter.. Meal is not very exciting, one night at Italy restaurant was an exception, the rest is average. Nothing memorable. VERY POOR CLEANING OF THE ROOM. THIS WOULD NEED A GENERAL CLEANING ONCE A TIME. Although we left everyday some money for the housekeeper, cleaning is for sure the weakest part of the hotel.

Room Tip: honeymoon cotteges in C1 sector are amazing - you hear the sea all night

We were here at the period 14.9-21.9.2012. Everything was great; great staff, great beach, very clean hotel, food was ok.
When I came home i discovered that something worth is missing in my luggage.
It was new swimmwear, worth 60 euro, which i was sure i put them into my bag.
The problem is that we had to put our luggage in front of our door of the room when we left the hotel the last day. The room-cleaner was very friendly to us during our stay, the last day he asked us at what time are we leaving. When we go to the reception to check out from the hotel I saw him walking towards our room, where our luggage were prepared for porter to bring it to the reception. He smiled and greeted us and i couldn't mind that time that he could steal something.
When i came home i was quite sure that he stole my swimwear out of my bag.
Be ware of your luggage!
I will definetly not go to this hotel anymore, except everything other was great.
