We stayed here as a family holiday (8 adaults, 2 of them Egyptian, age 21-58) and were rather shocked by the overall quality of the hotel.
It should also be mentioned, that all of us have been in Egypt previously several times or are born here...
On arrival, we were greated in a very unprofessional and unpolite manner and since the hotel was overbooked, we were moved into the linked sisterhotel "Sphinx", which is supposed to have even 5*...
But the rooms were dirty on arrival, the food the worst we've eaten in this country till now (but on an open buffet), nearly all of the staff were unfriendly (but this is likely due to the fact, that 99% of all guest are of Russian nationallity, who do treat the staff with no or little respect).
Furthermore, there was loud music playing half of the time, even loudly hearable in all of our rooms, giving little chance to rest or retreat.
Even after trying to improve the situation (get people to clean the rooms completely, (try to) open the partly screwed rooms saves, not much improvement could be done.
Also all materials used by the hotel seem to be of the poorest quality and/or is fully used up. This refers to food, rooms materials, bed sheets, public area furniture ect...
Additionally, the surrounding of the hotel (and nearly all of old hurghada) is surely breaking down and gives no good...We stayed here as a family holiday (8 adaults, 2 of them Egyptian, age 21-58) and were rather shocked by the overall quality of the hotel.

Now, after 2 days in this "resort", 5 of us have stomach issues and we will move to a different hotel (Mirage) for the remainder of our holidays!!
Another feedback on this hotel will follow after the completion of our stay :)
If you can avoid it, do NOT book this hotel, as there are many other for the same or even better prices, for surely better value!!More
