Not bad for its money! Food is ok. Hotel is on the 1 line, the beach is very close. Staff is friendly, no problem in the room, everything works. they have plenty of wedding celebration parties there:)

Booked into the hotel, after checking the room and speaking to one other guest, immidiately left the hotel. No hot water, no clean sheets and bathroom, no lockers, no internet facility and other guests sufferd from food poisoning (they warned me to leave!), Against all advise I went here, however, I should have listed to other reviews. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE if you want a nice holiday, I am a very experiences traveller, this the worst place you can imagine, even staff acknowledged this but said there was nothing they could to about it. Avoid the hotel, in any other part of the world it would have been closed already due to its old and unhygienic appearance. Save your money, there are many other hotels much better but try to go for an international one, decend price and value for money.

Room Tip: Choose another hotel at all cost

after spendind two horrible nights at Comfort El Samaka and another three nights at La Perla (please see my reviews of the respective hotels) ,I finally arrived at this hotel to spend 9 more nights, after paying at Tez Tour headquarters an additional 75 Euros, additional to the 741 Euros I paid in Romania for this trip for a 3+ hotel;although this hotel is not three stars plus and the offer in Romania for this hotel is 683 Euros;so Tez Tour didn't respect the contract and what is more revolting is the fact that Tez Tour was not correct and charged me unfairly with additional 133 Euros;upon arriving there I was given the last room on the left side at the second floor of the main building;a small room, with a kind of unpleasant smell and right above the hotels disco;I had to spend there two nights after which insisting at the front desk and for a tip of 5 Euros to Mr.Arafat from the reception who literally asked for it,I was given a bigger room close to the beach;a worn out, very basic, old fashioned room with a strange bathroom almost as big as the room but with a small and very worn out shower cabin and a small sink in a corner;and again that strange smell like something is not new,is not clean and not properly maintained;anyway, this was not all : the whole place gives an impression of neglect ,of not caring by the staff, although I noticed there was a lot of staff;they acted all in a chaotic manner and only if they were in the mood of doing something;at that time the hotel was full of Egyptians mostly from Luxor and Assuan who came to the seaside on vacation after Ramadan;I don't have nothing with Egyptians as they are modest people but it was so crowded, there were masses of people coming and going permanently with a lot of children too, that it was permanently an embarassing feeling;one didn't have a comfortable feeling there;concerning the food I must say that this hotel is in fact not prepared to offer all inclusive services;in the morning always eggs and the same cheese,no butter as they said the Egyptians would take it to the rooms...;lunch and dinner simply miserable:always the same beef, chicken, sometimes fish, rice, potatoes, pasta;food had absolutely no taste and seemingly what remained at lunch was served at dinner or next day;salads tasted also not fresh;all in all a very simple, bad food, reheated, like in a soldiers cantine...the last two evenings I simply couldn't stand eating it and the restaurant manager offered to make me a pizza which was kind of him;all in all a spoiled holiday;it seems like one must be careful when booking with Tez Tour as there is no guarantee that you get the hotel and room you actually booked;this happened also to some other people I spoke to over there;on the other hand there were two young couples from Russia who stayed there 2 nights, didn't like it and asked to be moved;they were given rooms at Zahabia Village ,3+,which they said was very good and they didn't have to pay an extra charge although at this hotel a two weeks stay is 809 Euro instead of 683 Euro at Sand Beach Hotel;I must say ,it's sad and dissapointing and someone should have to bear the responsibility of totally spoiling someone's long awaited vacation !!! there was no value for money at all !!! it seems like this is not very important for Tez Tour ...

Room Tip: I wonder if there are good rooms at all at this hotel...

For the money. this is really not a bad place to stay; it has its own small beach, with good snorkelling just along the jetty. Rooms are very basic and in need of a little tlc, as were the sunbeds. The whole place seems to be in the process of ebing renovated, which is a little overdue, but welcome. We found the staff cheerful and most would go out of their way to be helpful if you were polite to them. Whilst the health centre is being built (or rebuilt, couldn't quite tell), an ordinary guestroom has been put to use as a massage parlour; privacy a little lacking, but the quality of the massage was very good, and excellent value.

I booked this via the net because I wanted to dive the Red Sea but not be based in Sharm.
We had the first night in a terrible room above the main street, which was very noisy because if you've ever been to Egypt you'll know that Egyptians drive with their car horns.
After a word in reception the following morning, we were moved to a room near the pool which was much better.
The food wasn't up to much, especially for myself being a vegetarian, every other time I've stayed in Egypt the food has been very good, but they seem to be catering for the Russian tourist.
During our stay, we were the only Brits in there. This wasn't a problem for me cos I like my own company, but I don't think my partner was too impressed, on the days I left her to go diving! So much so that she came with me for a few days.
The hotel is overrun with Russians, who (it may sound recist) in the main are very ignorant, pushing in at the bar and the restaurant.
We found the staff weren't very fond of them either, but because we always treated the staff courteously, with a please and a thank you, we were virtually waited on whenever we entered the bar or restaurant.
The hotel is situated in the old part of town which is rough and ready to say the least, but if you like the banter and the bartering (I don't) you should enjoy yourself
