The hotel was good.the swimming pool, the sea was perfect. The staff were very friendly except the sea bar the one at the entrance of the sea not the marina bar he kept shouting and acting in a bad way.
The lunch wasn't good as much as the breakfast and the dinner
special thanks to Ahmed the villa swimming pool barman. Aziz and Ahmed at the swimming pool bar.

Prior to our trip, I was reading reviews from Western European people or Americans, and thought they were spoiled and that they are overreacting saying this hotel wasn't good. Being from Serbia I thought it cannot really be that bad, and I wasn't expecting Hilton by US standards, as this WAS Egypt.
Hotel used to be 5 starts...maybe 20 years ago. Everything is outdated and clearly not that well maintained. Swimming pool area was thoroughly machine cleaned and disinfected once in 10 days we were there. Usually someone walks over with a bucket of pool water and a broom, and lightly scrapes of visible stains on the side of a pool.
Everywhere you look, there is dust. Only rooms are kept tidy and that is the most important of course, but make sure you tip the room maintenance guys with a Euro or two.
We paid for All inclusive, their all inclusive food and drinks list suggested we would have canned juices, snacks on the beach, ice creams and whatnot. They also suggested a variety of different a la carte restaurants. It was important for as to have canned juices because we have a 4 year old, and wanted to make sure he doesn't get tummy problems.
Juices are made of syrups, and have detergent like colors - wouldn't dream of drinking it. Beach bar has draft cola, sprite and local beer besides that. Even cans of cola/sprite/fanta are extra charge. They have a bad nescafe vending machine, with terrible espresso. Only other place to get a real espresso is the reception/lobby area, where you can also get some apple/pinepple and similar juices. So we needed to buy normal juices and bring them to the beach. You can imagine after one hour, they were all warm...
As for food, no snacks on the beach could be seen in those 10 days.
Ice creams are served in the pool area only, and just from 14 to 16h. That time of day you are at lunch or in your room, so no real use of that. As for a la carte restaurants, there is only one that is open, at the beach...haven't tried it.
So if you were expecting to have a fresh mixed fruit drink, or nice cup of coffee at the beach, or to buy some fruits to freshen up or anything normal beach bar would have - forget it,. You can't even buy it, cause you are simply stuck with what they have to offer, which is not much.

Rooms are comfy but not too big. Refrigerator is way to small, and can't do colder than let's say 10 degrees, after 24h of keeping something in it. Hotel air conditioning makes the air dry, and doesn't work that great.

Food in the main pebbles restaurant - well that is a mixed feeling.
Lunch is obviously not to important to Egyptians, due to heats I presume, but hello you have European guests who ARE used to having strong lunches and lighter dinners. It is other way around for them, which is also proved by prices for lunch and dinner (dinners are more expensive). If you are a vegetarian you will be happy - tons of meatless dishes and salads. However if you eat meat, you will see 3 meat choices for lunch, one of which is fish, second one is not edible (over-burnt chicken wings the size of a pigeon), and third one would be goulash for instance. So I felt hungry already an hour or two after every lunch. Dinners are much better with variety of meat dishes.
There is free of charge wi fi in the hotel lobby area, it is slow and connection breaks from time to time, but you can check your emails or do some Skype calls.
Hotel beach is really great and we truly enjoyed 25-26 degrees water, and no real effects on the beach area by tides.
All in all, we are not planning to go back to Hilton Hurghada or Egypt for that matter any time soon. I would rather bring money to the beach (instead of having a bracelet) and be able to buy what ever suits me in that moment, than to be stuck with no real options in the "5 star hotel" with all inclusive package.

Dear Sir/Madame ,
I am an Egyptian .I very just arrived from Hurghada after 2 weeks stay at your most fabilous resort.
I have really enjoyed the private beach it was really great as if swimming in a large enchanted natural pool.
Furthermore the animation team was fantastic they did their best to amuse us during our stay. Special thanks goes to their chief leader Mr. Kan kan & his cooperative energetic team Miss Tasha, Miss Jana, Mr. Snoop, Mr.Ebnoub & Mr Eidou.
Finally, I would like to thank every member in this hotel starting from the bell men , reservation desk, house keeping, restaurant chiefs & everyone who has helped us to enjoy our peaceful stay.

This hotel has an excellent location, very friendly staff and hospitable. They upgraded my room upon my request and offered special treatment as a Diamond/VIP. I had a sea view room that was clean. All services and response to requests were very quick. I would love to come back again

This is quite a detailed (long) review, but hopefully some people may find it useful.

My husband and I have just returned after a nine night All Inclusive holiday here. We were originally booked into a 3 star hotel just down the road (The Hor Palace Hotel), but soon realised our mistake as soon as we checked in. So we contacted our rep after one night at The Hor Palace, who said that the Hilton had availability, so we jumped at the chance to get out of that hotel!

OVERVIEW
The hotel itself is really nice, and is kept clean and maintained in most places (although the tiles around the swim-up bar in the pool and the shower doors in the pool toilets/changing rooms could do with being replaced). The gardens are also maintained to a very high standard. I have never read a hotel review where any of the gardeners got a mention....so I'm going to give them a mention here - they worked so hard keeping the gardens looking wonderful. My husband and I named a couple of them Mario & Luigi (because they both wore dungarees & caps and had moustaches)!

STAFF
The staff are the biggest asset to this hotel.....they were brilliant - nothing was too much trouble. They looked after us so well and really made our holiday special. I'd like to give a special mention to the following:
> Ibrahim (Concierge) - was so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
> Mohamad (Lobby lounge barman) - looked after us so well. Remembered what we were drinking after the first night, was efficient, hard-working and was a really good laugh.
> Hamada (Swimming pool lifeguard) - such a lovely lad. He took such good care of us and worked really hard, and we became really good friends with him.
> Aziz (Swimming pool barman) - always remembered what we were drinking. Friendly and hard-working.
> Mohamad (Room cleaner - 6105) - kept our room lovely and clean and supplied us with fresh towels and toiletries and did some terrific towel art. He even brought in a lovely little bunch of flowers for the room.

ROOM
The room was a good size and the bed was really comfortable. The bedding was clean and fresh and we were provided with clean, fluffy towels every day. Toiletries were also provided (shampoo, conditioner and shower gel). A kettle, tea, coffee, sugar and creamer were also provided. There was also a safe in the room which was no extra charge.
We were provided with one 1.5 lire bottle of water per room per day, which we felt was not quite enough and could have done with a bit more, but we bought a massive 5 litre bottle over the road at the shop which was only about £2, and that lasted nearly the whole holiday.
On our first day, we noticed some lightbulbs were not working and were going to report it to reception later on in the day, but we came back to the room in the afternoon, and all the faulty lightbulbs had been changed without us even having to ask, which we though was good service; by the cleaner for reporting it and maintenance for repairing them so quickly.

POOL
The pool area was lovely, and there was always plenty of comfortable sun beds and umbrellas (no having to get up at 6:00am to get a bed)! Fluffy pool towels were also provided. There were showers, toilets and a pool bar, so all the facilities needed. The pool was a bit chilly, but actually quite refreshing, and it was very clean.

BEACH
The beach was really nice, again with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas with towels provided and the sea was clear and warm. There was a shop, towel hut, bars (Marina bar and Waves beach bar), and toilets.....so everything we needed really.

FOOD & DRINK
The food for the most part was fine. There was always fish and chicken and sometimes lamb and beef, along with all the usual rice, salad, vegetables, soup, bread and desserts, etc. It wasn't the best food we've ever had but it certainly wasn't the worst. The staff were also really friendly and helpful. You could eat in several different AI places:
> Pebbles main restaurant - breakfast, lunch and dinner
> Pool bar - a snack after breakfast or lunch and ice cream in the afternoon (albeit very small)
> Waves beach bar - lunch (smaller selection of what was being served in Pebbles).

Drinks were the usual that you'd expect at an AI hotel - local beers, wines, spirits, soft drinks and tea & coffee. We met some people who moaned about the drinks and bought their own, but we honestly didn't have a problem with any of the drinks.
You could drink in several different AI places:
> Lobby lounge - all day/evening
> Pool bar - all day
> Marina bar (beach) - all day
> Outside bar (by the stage - open only when the entertainment was on for a couple of hours)

There were other places you could go to eat/drink (Lagoona restaurant, La Casa restaurant, 321 bar/lounge, Champs sports bar, Marhaba oriental cafe), but all of these were chargeable - they weren't included in the AI.

The things we didn't like about the hotel were:
> Smoking was permitted in the lobby lounge
> Too many restaurants/bars were chargeable and not included in the AI price
> The swim-up bar in the pool was not open the whole time we were there
> Only one bar to drink in the evening (lobby lounge). We weren't really into the entertainment outside, and that bar closed as soon as the entertainment finished. It would have been nice to have a quiet drink outside somewhere (away from the smoke).....we thought it would be a good idea keep the bar by the stage open after the entertainment had finished, or to open up the Waves beach bar in the evening just for drinks. String some fairy lights around it and put in some quiet background music.....perfect!
> There are a couple of showers in the changing rooms by the pool for people to freshen up when they have to wait around for flights. It would be nice to have a couple of dispensers on the walls with shampoo/conditioner/shower gel in, and maybe a hair dryer.

All in all, it was a really lovely holiday, and we would definitely consider going back if some of the things above changed.

Excellent Resort , we enjoyed the relaxing either at the Beach or the pool, soft drinks and some snacks are served . Variety of food at the main restaurant. And staff are well trained . My kids enjoyed the daily show by animation team . I will come back soon.

I have been there for more than once , everything became better and better every time . Staff is very friendly, room service is a great one , Animation team leader "cancan" is a great leader . Animation team in general are very funny and great . Food is good . Everything there is great . A great hotel to visit and have a vacation in .
