A lot of just waiting around. Short ride on a camel, even shorter ride on horse and donkey. Felt really sorry for the horses and donkeys that was whipped i circles with one tourist after another. The donkey had a rope around its behind that was to tight and had made big wounds on the back of the legs. The beduin village was a tourist setup with big a big parkinglot. Everything we were rushed through just to stand around and wait some more before next activity. The quad bike ride was the only ok activity. The entertainment at night was almost non existing and we waited a LONG time before it even began.
So dont use your prescious holiday time at this tourist trap!

I spent a great day with 6 other travellers (that I met in my jeep). We had an adventurous journey across the Eastern Desert, being well informed by our guide Mahmoud. The visit to the Bedouin Village was fascinating and the day concluded with a meal and watching the stars. Very good value for money and really interesting

A very action packed day: Camel riding, horse riding, quad biking and 4x4 driving - was shaken to bits by the latter but it was really good fun. And it did not end there had a lovely meal under the stars in this Bedouin Village along with entertainment. Wonderful experience and would recommend same

We took a 4 x 4 trip out into the eastern desert to visit a Bedouin Village.
Although the highlights of the trip were good (the scenery, the vilage itself, the short camel ride), there was a huge amount of sitting or standing around not doing anything.
We waited to get picked up, then we waited to get into a 4 x 4, then we waited to ride a camel, then we waited to have some very average food, then we waited to go back in the 4 x 4, then we waited to get transfered back to our hotel.
Unlike some others we didn't see any stars as it never got dark enough and there was very, very little at the village apart from the camels.
Overall I wish I hadn't bothered and could have spent the afternoon snorkelling instead.
