2 weeks with family . Stayed at lots of egyptian hotels and all considered one of the best I have been in .- for facilities, layout , service food etc. Lots of eastern europeans who are as ever devoid of any manners. Cheapest diving which are very good are called Black Shark at next hotel - Ali Baba 150 Euro 5 days boat diving ( plus kit if you need it ). Hotels own set up good if you are learning but otherwise expensive. Food plentiful and good quality. Well done sunrise group, One tip - first day there book the Italian a sit gets very booked in evening . Lunctime itis open also and makes a change form bar food and buffet.

We can always find faults with holidays if we really want to. This hotel really does its best to make sure all its guests have the best holiday possible. We have possibly had our best holiday ever here. Most of the staff here always had a smile on their faces and liked to play little trick on you if they got a chance. My wife got poorly with a bad stomache upset. I called the doctor and he was with us in under an hour. We had to pay (160e ) but she was up and about in 2 days so it was worth the money. Everything at this hotel is spotless although in some parts could do with a bit of TLC. The food in the main restaurant was acceptable. We took up the option of using the ala cart restaurants ( Free Gratis ) Which were all very good. The Animation staff were all very talented and friendly. All in all a geat place to go on holiday

1st on a posative note. what an excellent hotel. The standards across the board could not be critisiced in the slightest, expecially the food. which my family including a 12yr old found to be of excellent quality and extreamly good value for money.both the buffet and especially the speciality restaurants (Italian for lunch cool and fabulous food ) My last meal was veal cutlets in mushroom sauce served with rice and fresh courgettes . followed by watermelon how refreshing and delicious.
If you are going to travel to this area or indeed any other area out of the stay safe English egg and chips in Spanish resorts, then surley you must realise that you must be more adventourous with the cusine on offer or stay in a resort where you can get english roast beef yorkshire pudding, chips and a good pint of bitter .. perhaps I could surgest Blackpool.!!!!!!!!!!!
Any critisisam of this hotel is unfounded it is excellent and beats hands down last years holiday in Aruba which cost almost 3x as much. All the slating of the Russians is also uncalled for ever seen the Americans and in deed the British in full flow at least the Russians spent the days with their families and not sat around the bar!!!
When temperatures are 40 degrees plus its essential to drink water not alcohol during the day dehydration can easily trigger a stomach problem. we all had a few days with the runs but it wasnt food poisioning take petobismol and drink water.
I would return here which is somthing we wouldnt normally do .
Thank you to all the staff who always had a smile.

well...generally this is very nice hotel i really enjoyed my stay there..me, my husband and our 2 kids(3ys boy and 8 month girl) booked 4 days at this hotel recommended to us by a friend..check in was nice and fast..very helping stuff..every thing we need in the room was there....capacious room, we evevn orderd baby cot and still my son have space to play with scooter!! generally clean and simple (old arabian designs) furniture but comfortable..satellite TV but the kids channels are few, free wireless internet
the pool is large and clean..kids pool not that good,,small and separated from the adult one only by chairs so u have to have an eye on ur children all the time as they all try to sit on them wand go to the other side
animation team is very nice and a lot of activities are availbe.. water excersices..belly dancing class..photographer ..kids club having ur children to play and u relax...theatre every night having a theme night...nice
water sports and diving centre..and the have kids play area too
in fact everything we needed or wanted we found it there
about food..actully breakfast is excellent really,,having nearlly every thing u want to eat at breakfast..even cerelac for babies
launch and dinner not as good as breakfast but not bad,,every night theme night..main dishes not delecious as expected,,also the deserts..
but we had dinner once at the arabian restaurant,,ate seafood was very very very delicious..better than the open bufet..so if u enjiy eating a la carte..eating there is better
pool and beach bar are nice having drinks all the time but u go get no service while sitting and also food not good..we ordered pizza once was more like sandwich of sauce,,no other ingredients
the beach is very beutiful and the sea ther is unforgatble
i have to say that i enjoyed the stay,,they even know my birthday from my ID and as i was there,,they sent me a complimentary cake:)
but one day at the pool a little boy was injuired,,no doctor appeared but my husband is a doctor so he managed the boy..i wanted to ask is there is a medical supervision in the hotel but i forgot ...also the hotel have 3 foors but only stairs to go up no lift!
that was a big trouble for my baby's stroller..i leave it downstairs everytime i go to my room..that was the most annoying thing for me
i recommend this hotel for families and friends but not romantic place for honeymoons and so..so many kids around

We stayed in Sunrise Garden after 6 days travel around Egypt. As the travel was really exhausting, we wanted to have some time to "recover" before coming back to cold and gray Europe ;) And this hotel was a perfect choice! The food was great and diverse, rooms were comfortable and spacious, the gym was well equipped. The staff tried to be helpful.

We had one "incident" concerning the lack of water in our room, but I think it's common in desert-like countries. The location and area around the hotel are not really interesting - expensive junk shops lining the route to the remote heart of old Hurghada. It's better to do the shopping in Aswan or Luxor.

I can recommend this hotel especially to families with children and people who want to have some rest after traveling through the country.
