Hurghada Grand Aquarium is an exciting place to visit especially for families with kids. The feeding of sharks, turtle and fish is a rare view and amazing. I think the animals in aquarium are misplaced instead the management should utilize the space to make more space for other species of fishes. My elder son was disappointed not to see octopus.A lot needs to be done to to make it' Red sea in glass'.

Super expensive tickets, reception had artificial greenery (not great) the staff worked tirelessly to make it interesting. However photographers rip you off.

The grand aquarium was a great day for me my wife and our daughter who is almost 2 years old, on arrival the receptionist was very welcoming and gave us a 1 on 1 explanation of what they have and what they do, then before we set off we spoke to a lady who was accompanied with a photographer and asked if we wanted him to follow us round and take pictures of us throughout the aquarium, we agreed and he followed us round for 2 hours giving us a personal tour telling us about the different fish and animals at the aquarium. The photographer/ tour guide was very patient and never rushed us in the slightest, we took our time and at the end they showed us a collection of pictures he had taken then they asked if we wanted to buy it. We had full intention of buying but if you don't then don't waste the time of the photographer as he could utilise the time with someone else. The aquarium Had a wide range of fish from sea snakes to guitar fish to memo fish and sting rays, they had crocodiles monkeys reptiles and much much more, well worth the money. Oh the cd we got with pictures cost £24 for 115 pics and they were fantastic quality, the price varies depending the amount of pictures, plus you get pictures of everything they have in the aquarium. Very pleasant people and great for the kids. Would recommend to anyone.
