“Ignore the bad reviews - Excellent Value”

We read the reviews before booking direct with Red Sea Holidays. Our room (535) was better then we expected but as with most hotels, if you look hard enough you will find minor things that need sorting - yes it could do with a redecoration but it was extremely clean (our cleaner - Naser, really looked after us), the bed was superb! The food (we were all inclusive) was a bit samey but there was a good choice from the 3 restaurants. We found that the Palm best suited our taste. We had no problems with the food and did not hear of anyone being il (as usually happens). The Beach was superb, but if you wanted a sunbed close to the sea then you needed to get your towels on one before breakfast. However, if you were not worried about this, there were plenty available further back. We wanted a relaxing week in the sun away from the British winter and we certainly got this. Just make sure you take a sweater for the evenings as it does get quite cold when the sun goes down. There are also alot of German and Russian guests so bear this in mind, especially with the food as the hotel caters mainly for them. The other thing to be aware of is the drinks. Not all of the bars are included in the "All Inclusive" which can be frustrating. We found that if you wanted bottled water without being charged, get this from the Beach Bar in the morning. We got about 6 bottles a day to keep us going. Overall we found the hotel to be very good and the weather was excellent. For what we paid, we found it excellent value for money.

Room Tip: Go for a superior room as there is more space. These tend to be away from the noise of the hotel and...

This hotel was very good! Also it was very beautiful, the garden & the stars... Wow! And the beach was so close. The service is good. I loved all the palmtrees, they were so wonderful! I loved it there, and maybe I'll return in the future! I hope so. I truly recommend This hotel! ^_^

Room Tip: I recommend the first floor, it's easy to take a little walk out of the terrace-door.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 2 wks in Nov 2012. Our room 225 was plenty large enough for us, with an enormous lovely comfy bed. We found the hotel very nice and the grounds are beautifully kept with plenty of flowers and trees all around. Lots of sunbeds with parasols on the beach too.
To get a sunveb however you have to be up really early as the sister hotel to this is just across the main road. As they have no beach of their own all the guests from this sister hotel are allowed to come and use the Grands sunbeds. And they literally do in groves lol.
We booked all inclusive, and while the food is then free at the 3 restaurants here, try as we might, we could not get a hot meal for the 2 wks we were there. We even tried sitting waiting for the chefs to bring out food fresh from the kitchen ....then we would go up for some ...only to find this fresh food was only lukewarm. This could be the reason that quite a few guests had dicky tummy,s while we were there. A shame really as the food looked lovely with a good varied menu but we finished up going out a few evenings and paying just to get a hot meal down us . ( Hard Rock Cafe we can highly recommend )
Altho we booked all inclusive we were very annoyed to find some hotel bars we had to pay if we wanted to drink in them. In the bars where our drinks were included we found it was difficult to get served as the waiters concentrated on the paying guests as that way they had chance of a tip .
We booked a trip to Luxor with a 5 am start and when we went to the reception to order our packed lunch for the following day we were told as we didnt book the trip thru the hotel this service was not available to us.!!!
We had been there for 4 days before we heard anyone speaking English .....2 girls from London who we made friends with for rest of holiday. Its really all German and Russian guests that stay here with a few from Scandinavia ......apart from us there was only abt 5 other English guests there during our stay.
Overall a nice hotel with stunning gardens ....lovely looking food (but lukewarm) and not enough English guests for us to go back here ever again.

Room Tip: Ask for one of the refurbished rooms .

There was a group of seven us. We went to scuba dive for a week so we were not planning to spend to much time at the hotel. We booked two twin and a triple bedded rooms, on arrival we got two twins and a double with single, getting that changed was not easy.
I would describe the hotel as tired, the reception was old fashioned but clean, beyond that the rooms, restaurants, toilets left a lots to be desired. Our room was described as superior, the size was good, decor old fashioned, lots of dark wood. The bathroom had a bath with shower attachment, you could not sit in the bath with your legs out straight. The tiling had been repaired in places, badly. The towels were old but clean.
The restaurants (3) were all impersonal and again needed decoration. The food was edible but unimaginative. The one that did barbecued food had sparrows flying around inside, they were feeding off the cakes and bread which were there for customers to eat. When this was pointed out a shrug of the shoulder was the answer.
We went all inclusive, beware water is not included as all inclusive, we managed to negotiate free water do the same. The staff in the main helpful but if you don't have your all inclusive bracelet on then you don't get served!
The beach is great, lots of facilities and things for the kids to do but it is a large expanse of beach with lots and lots of sun beds.
As the title says "You get what you Pay For" we paid £309 for a weeks all inclusive including flights.

i was apprehensive of booking this hotel because of the reviews, but wanted a inclusive hotel, so decided to take the chance, with 2 teenage girls we wanted a relaxing holiday. We were happy with the room and hotel facilities, beach was fantastic lots to do if you want, food in the 3 restsurants was good choice the palm restsurant for us was the best. The xmas dinner was very good . When you book in you are given a list of what you are allowed to have on inclusive so there were no problems. You need to meet your rep who will give you all the info you need was very helpful. We found the trips expensive and having to pay extras ie:tips and toilet tips terrible. The hotel is 90% germans so a lot of not waiting in a queue, and hogging the sunbeds. the harrassment of the sellers is not a nice experience, but being firm is the key. Overall a very good break with fantastic weather. We would go again.

The scenery and campus are just magnificent, just don't be surprised by the rooms some of them are not 5 star, but very convenient and clean. Hotel staff/manager are very helpful and kind.

It's the perfect place for a family, lots of activities to do there... Beach volley, mini water park, wind surfing, diving, para-sailing, etc...

A variety of restaurants to choose from like the international, Italian, Arabesque, beach side, and so on...

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the gardens and landscape are my favorite
