Recently returned from two weeks at the Aladdin Beach hotel in Hurghada. On arrival we were allocated one of the 'bungalow' rooms - we were very pleased with it - lovely room and spotlessly clean. The resort is basically on the beach which was wonderful - although we did 'park' ourselves by the pool (also very close to the beach) as it was more restful and sand free (we're beach lovers, but not sand lovers) - close enough to have a swim in the sea about every 30 minutes beforing showering and settling back into our obligatory sunbathing! The weather was bliss - hot and sunny for the whole time - just perfect - even in the evenings when it was dark. The food at the hotel was great - you would never ever starve - always plenty of variety and you can always find something you fancy. The chefs are obviously very skilled, although I can imagine it's a fairly thankless job....with the Russians about. What a rude, greedy and miserable bunch they are - although it did give us a laugh watching them, so I shouldn't dis them too much! Yes, food was good - and at the Aladdin you have the use of the neighbouring hotels facilities. The Ali Baba and the Jasmin were also very nice and in the event you did get bored or fancied a change of scene or restaurant or pool or entertainment from the Aladdin you had the choice of the other two. My friend and I went ice skating one evening - the Ali Baba has an ice-rink as well as a bowling alley - bizarre or what? We really didn't have the inclination to leave the resort at all, but we did manage a couple of trips up to the nearby Senzo Mall for cigarettes - lots of designers shops, a big supermarket and a cinema too. I cannot believe the bad reviews of this hotel (what on earth are people complaining about??). The staff were very friendly and thankfully while we were there the main restaurant seemed to undertake an overhaul in appearance as well as in organisation and this was a real improvement, although to be honest we only went there for breakfast - the beach and pool restaurants were more than sufficient for our culinary requirements - nice and informal too. Our room was cleaned every day and we were provided with fresh towels every day too. All in all a perfect place for a chill out holiday.

Room Tip: The bungalow type rooms are fab - although there are a lot of them - and they all look the same, so it's quite easy to get lost!

I know everyone has different expectations, but to me that the hotel was disappointing.
The beetles were running corridor, the rooms were close to the sea, but there was no one to see or the sea.
The restaurant smelled stinky cat.
The dishes were nicely served and everyone is upset your stomach.
There was a waitress who saw us, "that we're cool terrified of loud guests who csurdultig took the plate and then the quarter was not a" we are always looking for a quiet table and he was very kind to us.
The weather is very favorable in Egypt, the sun is always shining, but I'm very dusty, never rains.
Cairoi trip was very tiring, but worth it to see the pyramids.
The museum is huge and dusty Egypt, where the museum would be, 'said the boy.
You really ruined the whole country, you can not tell the houses that we have built or crash.
Men desire to return, but once you see the pyramids should be for everyone, wonderful.

Room Tip: there is no good rooms

Our party returned from two weeks all inclusive holiday at this hotel on 12th October. we booked through our local travel agent and requested two upper floor garden view rooms, on arrival and after our unwelcome encounter with poor English speaking and unhelpful reception staff we were shown to ground floor rooms with a view of a high hedge. We changed rooms the following day and looked forward to an improvement in our holiday, unfortunately the situation worsened, the small stoney beach did not provide safe access into the sea, the meals were prepared to suit russian guests, the bar staff were rude and unhelpful. Animals frequented the dining room, the Main dining room was shut down for four days mid holiday, and meals had to be taken in a tent on the beach or in a small poolside restaurant. Midway through the holiday we had no hot water for four days after complaining every day it was finally fixed. This hotel is not suitable for British guests please beware.

Room Tip: Choose another hotel.

Like friendly welcoming staff, nice restaurants, sandy beaches, clean rooms, fine wine... Don't go here! However if you fancy an under developed resort, rude argumentative unwelcoming staff, dirty floors, broken safes, unwashed towells, a room with a view of a playground, a Russian girl wearing a Santa outfit in August, concentrated squash or cheap beer, Rocky beaches and a whole lot more look no further! Only people whom are interested in Russian butlin/ concentration camps should go here! We lasted 12 hours before leaving!
