“Fabulous Time”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

Just returned from the Jasmine and her sister hotels. Staff were wonderful couldn't be more accommodating, you were thinking of something they already thought of it. Food choices amazing, room great, real village feeling. Ate at a different restaurant every day. Excursions dessert safari and snorkelling great fun. It was our first visit but we definitely plan to return. Great value for money.

Room Tip: Avoid the rooms go for the bungalows away from main complex in the 400's

We have just returned from the Jasmin and we found it clean, The staff helpful, the food was beef, chicken & fish with a variety of rice, potatoes and local veg. The puddings were very good even rice pudding for breakfast. Also plenty of past dishes, local flafel pizza's and chips. It is probaly more suited to couples and young Families.
The twenty /thirty year olds probably not enough for them to do but for Families the Animation team did a great job.
For couples like ourselves who wanted a rest and comfort it was fine considering the price apid for an all inclusive holiday.
The gym was not in good working order and best to use the gym at the Alladin or the Ali Baba

Room Tip: Families are better off staying in the ground floor rooms .Couples upper deck.

my partner and i have just returned from jasmine village and we had a great holiday...the hotel is very clean, and spread out in well-maintained gardens. because you can eat in the 2 sister hotels, aladin and ali baba, the choice of food is fantastic, always something different to eat and i think a choice of 9 restaurants in total ! (between the 3 hotels). the staff very helpful and friendly, especially on reception. the rooms are simple, clean with plenty of space. would definately go back.
christine and Mr Paul (as the staff refferred to my partner!!)

Room Tip: we were in room 755 which is grt as its fairly near the pool, ltalian restaurant and near the beach

Dont expect too much of the accomodation, this hotel was built 25 years ago and does need updating, however the position and the gardens are lovely. The staff are very helpful and friendly. This is my third visit and i will definitly return. The beauty center is best avoided(none to clean !!) The trips are good and a trip to the marina is a must..

You get what you pay for.
My boyfriend and I was here for a week, only had three good days of sun, rest cloudy but warm. Anyway hotel is spread along a big plot with maintained gardens and lakes.
Rooms were very simple fridge, surface, wardrobe. no chest of drawers, bathroom simple.. take a plug if you want a bath! .. cleaned well every day.
Food was the same every day, pasta, spaghetti, salad, rice and some disgusting rice, never see any fresh bread or cakes throughout the stay, They have three restaurants all three were rubbish.. Seriously if you are a fussy eater i would look somewhere else.. we spent most nights out, McDonalds was 5 mins the road luckily. The other hotel Ali Ba Ba which you can also use whilst being at Jasmine is well recommended after finding out on he last night (as they didnt tell us at the start) we ate here and it was fantastic,
Entertainment was poor, drinks wernt all inclusive they were all the cheap brands.. didnt once make me feel tipsy no matter how many i drunk.
wouldnt recommend this hotel... Go Ali Ba Ba!!!

I chose this hotel based upon other Trip Advisor reviews. On a budget it had by far the best rating. If you're looking for ultimate 5* luxury, then perhaps look elsewhere, but anything else, this hotel seemed to have it all. The hotel is on quite a large plot, with beautiful gardens stretching down from the reception area to the two man-made lakes, which back onto the excellent private beach. Only the most fussy of eaters would really complain about the food, as there was more than enough choice between the three all-inclusive restaurants (Main, Italian, Oriental) and the beach bar. The animation team were great and despite the hotel guests and animation team being predominately Russian, we never felt we were left out or treated second best at all. In fact, we had some excellent fun playing sports such as beach volleyball, boccia, football, table-tennis and tennis with Russians, Germans, Dutch and English guests. In the evening there were varied and entertaining activities/shows both next to main reception and in the purpose built Pergola next to the beach. Whilst the hotel was somewhat outside the town centre, you were also able to use the facilities of the two neighbouring sister hotels and there was also a large shopping centre within a few minutes walk. The airport was quite close, so within around 15 minutes transfer time, always a bonus before/after a long flight. There were some excellent activities available at reasonable prices, which could be booked through your rep or with a local company whose rep was usually in the foyer. Our room was spacious and whilst the furnishing weren't brand new, the beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed including a TV, fridge stocked with mineral water and everything was cleaned/changed daily. The only thing missing was a safe, but these were available for free in the reception area. All in all, I'd be happy to go back there anytime and can recommend the hotel to couples, families and single travellers as there's something for everyone at a great price!
