Its nice hotel,the food is so tasty and delicious. Beach and swimming pools are also nice. The best thing is the animation team. They make a lot of activities in the day and the program is interesting. Evening shows are nice. The team is so funny and friendly.

The Continental Hotel in Hurghada is the perfect place for a family vacation.
I especially want to highlight the perfect animators team at the hotel.
Mamadou, Ahmed-Fox, Laysan, Anna, Mohamed-Tomy, Obama, and Zizu made our vacation not only perfect but also unforgettable.

I had my wedding here. I came to them with an odd request to have my wedding on the beach, which is something that was a new concept. The whole team was very helpful and accommodating to our needs. This started from day one when I spoke with Mr. Mohamed Reda, the Food and Beverages Manager, and his assistant George, who were very polite and responsive. They helped me a lot with coordinating all the details on the wedding day and throughout our stay, such as rooms, food, decorations, pre and post wedding meals for the family and guests. Mr. Mohamed made himself available to address my issues and requests at any time of day, which alleviated much of my stress as we approached the wedding. It was a great experience and we'll definitely come back!

Selective bar and ancillary staff generally the pick of a sorry bunch. Reception staff underwhelming. Overall not recommended.

Cleaning ancillary staff v good. Daily clean by Ahmed Helmy was super... well done Ahmed. The hotel should promote you so you can inspire others ... His friendly smiling helpful demeanour was outstanding ... funny lovely towel animations that he didn’t have to do ...and spotless room every day ...and a contrast to the majority of staff who appeared disgruntled and unhappy
Disliked · Overall noise noise noise around pool area... massive speaker belted out noisy music that seemed more for staff than to truly respect most guests who mostly said they just wanted peace and calm. It’s great to have a fun session at times..., but the music is loud and uncontrolled ... hotel should do some marketing exercise to see what customers want ... mostly folk go to these places for peace and quiet ... or use headphones !!!
We deliberately sat in a lounger as far away as possible from the massive woofer. Thank goodness we were away diving most days otherwise I would have actually been stressed by the whole ambience.
And .... to the FOOD (and “so-called wine”) as other honest and experienced travellers have noted, it was VERY POOR ... The all-inclusive option was woeful... it felt like ...”we’ve taken your payment, now let’s see the minimum best food and wine we can give you”. All inclusive food and drink were worse than a bang average cafe on Sauchiehall Street!!
The wine is without doubt THE WORST I have ever tasted in my life. Yeeeuucchhkk..
I’ve eaten better from an army chef in the desert !! Desserts ok and salads were ok, but for main dishes Minimal effort to cater for non-Egyptian palates. Tourists giving hi marks for food are very naive or perchance be hand picked locals who feed a culture of “thoughtless praise where it’s not appropriate”
Food summary: 1-2 star food in 4 star setting - served mainly by disinterested waiting staff who appeared to be “going through the motions”.
And you’d think that tennis would be free - as it is in most other similarly marketed and pitched hotels. But no Egypt£80 for each racquet (or racket?). And then 100 more for 30mins courts. No wonder the courts are empty. Very short sighted.
Overall: NOT RECOMMENDED... Any vaguely savvy tourist looking for a “relaxed welcoming stay in a peaceful ambience” is advised to look elsewhere. Go to a two or three star that actually values your trade and goes the extra mile... and buy your meals. Totally forgettable experience. Continental HURGHADA - you badly need to overhaul your service and hotel ... you seem to be trying to be all things to all people and failing badly. 3/10.

It was for us the first time in Egypt. When we came in it was nice to see, nice entrance hall and the people that helpt our with the stuff where very friendly. The room look nice en we had a balcony and a very nice see vieuw. The first day whas a good start. The rest of the two weeks where so nice that we a really want to come back. For children is it a good place to be, the working people , the lifeguards are very friendly and the most nicely to our daughter. We went with our daughter and if i have to campare it with other nations this was the best to be. The food and drinks where no problem. Thnx fort he nice holliday and see you all next year.
