Just got back from staying at the Tropitel, have to say it was a really excellent holiday, no complaints whatsoever, hotel, service, staff, food all excellent. This hotel is a jewel in the crown, thoroughly recommend a visit, the staff are so welcoming, nothing is too much trouble for them. As this holiday was booked for us by friends and would not have been our choice, we were totally blown away by our experience here. Overall I have to say that I would definitely return here, it is amazing value for money and I would highly recommend to anyone. The Mexican restaurtant food is to die for!

Room Tip: All rooms are very good and roomy but I would recommend upgrading to a sea view, but do this with the hotel direct rather than through the travel agents. Higher rooms have excellent views

The last few reviews have it spot on so I will try not to repeat what has already been said but it is so difficult when you find a hotel that is this good!! The staff provide 5* service and really do go that extra mile for you. To Hatem, Ahmed and the rest of staff, you are all wonderful!

Sahl Hasheesh is beautiful and although exercise may be the last thing on your mind I recommend using the bicycles to ride up to the pier and beyond. Once you have done this and taken some wonderful photo's you are free to sit and relax by the pool or sea and drink cocktails to your hearts content. I will couple of questions..

Will I like the food?: As far as buffet dining options go, the Tropitel provide the best quality of food that I have had in Egypt and I am very fussy. There is no risk of there not being something you like. There was even the option to have chicken pie, cottage pie and chips one night! As well as the snacks that are provided outside of the dinning times, there is a lovely gentleman who walks round offering fresh slices of fruit - even around the beach area. You must visit the Mexican restaurant and order the deep fried ice cream. Ahmed, your new ice cream chef has since made them at home so thank you and your team for the cooking lesson!

Is the hotel incomplete and quiet?: Yes furnishing of the rooms on one side is incomplete but you wouldnt notice unless you looked into the rooms. The animation team provide entertainment during the day and in the evenings but if it seems quiet this is only because the number of tourists visiting Egypt is low in general so hotels all over are quieter. We happily cheered on a english couple and helped them win the couples competition so the answer is to get involved and make some noise. You will have a great time!! Entertainment is in the bar on the roof.

Is Egypt safe? I have visited Egypt 6 times and I have never felt unsafe at any time. We also booked a day excursion to Luxor on the last trip and did not witness any of the trouble you see on the news.

This is a fabulous hotel and if you are thinking about booking, do it now! You will not be disappointed.

See you all in May!

Room Tip: All rooms have great views. Choose top floors for better view of the sea.

Can only reiterate what others have already said, this hotel is fantastic value for money the location, fixtures and fittings are all good but what makes this hotel stand out is the staff.from arrival to departure, from the luggage boy to hossainy Ahmed one of the managers each and everyone contributes to enhance your holiday experience.
Would just like to say that the bread rolls and Danish pastries are the best I have ever tasted any where in the world I've been. As for the Russians yes they do sometimes appear to be rude but it's just their culture and who they are, I actually made good friends with a Russian family and went on a trip that was only Russians and actually found them not so bad.just leave your prejudices at home accept they are different to us and all will be good.
As for another reviewer that wrote about the guys that try to sell you massages in the spa to a certain degree I do think they are right maybe the prices for spa treatment should be put in reception and on the beach then left up to the individuals to decide if they want to book or not however these guys are really quite friendly when you get to know them and just love talking to the Brits.
The cost to keep your room and the all inclusive in the hotel for three hours more on your departure day was a very good price which I was willing to pay, however as the hotel was going to be very busy on the day of my departure the room was very politely told to me would not be available to keep, however we was told that we could checkout the room, use the facilities on the all inclusive until the taxi arrived and should we need to that a room would be made available to shower, all this at no extra cost. This I found to be extremely kind considering we had food and drink several hours after checking out, now that's what I call great guest care.
Thank you to everyone at the Tropitel for a fantastic holiday.

Stayed in for a few weeks in Jan, lovely hotel, excellent staff and very friendly and caring. Rooms are nice and cleaned daily, bottle of water a day and no extra cans of pop or alcohol, tea and coffee were randomly left. The noise from the corridors comes straight into your room and you get woken up constantly. The Mexican and Italian serve really nice food, but the buffet is well below a 5 star hotel. Food was OK but not the best. The hotel grounds and beach are very well kept and quite nice.animation team do things in the day but on the evening its below averaged. There are things in the hotel that look like they have been rushed or had the cowboys in to finish the job off, one half of the hotel is not yet furnished but looks completed from the outside.only downside are the Russians who are very rude and treat the hotel staff like s!!t.one thing that seemed to annoy everyone were the spa team that ventured out at 10 in the morn till dark pestering people to have a spa day, and I mean 10-15 times a day until you tell the to politely to go away then they must tell the others and things quieten down. Internet in the hotel is like something off the ark, paid £40 for the week in the room, 2.5 mb speed and constantly cutting off.couldn't even do face time.tip bring your own router and plug it in. All in all a good hotel the best staff (fekry, security slick rick, and Carlton lookalike on the beach). Would deffinatly return

This hotel is amazing in every way from the grand lobby as you enter to the well appointed guest rooms from the amazing sea views to the fantastic food in both the palm restaurant and two al la cart venues.
But what really stands this hotel out from the rest is
That it has heart and soul made only possible by the managers and staff, mr Hosseiny Ahmed if you get the pleasure to meet is one of the managers who cares about his guests and equally his staff and it really shows. He works from sunrise to sunset making sure everything is good and will take time out of his busy day to sit and talk with the guests and you see this throughout your stay, in fact I've never met anyone with such a passion for their job.
Throughout my stay there was fresh fruit, cakes and even chocolates brought to the room, and it was cleaned each day to a good standard .
The jewel in this hotels crown is the pier that takes you out to a beautiful blue lagoon, whatever you do take a snorkel set mine cost a mere £7 but believe me once you put your face into the water wow the sights you will see will stay with you forever. Don't worry if you can't swim I am not a good swimmer and you really don't need to be to see the beautiful tropical fish.
I cannot see any reason why this hotel would not make the number 1 hotel in hurghada on trip advisor and I'm sure it will someday.
Well done to every single member of staff at the tropitel for making it what it is.
