We spent a week at PLR in June and met many guests who like us were returning customers. We found that standards of guest care were still high. No matter what you wanted staff and management were there to help. There were a few reviews before we went that sunbeds had to be reserved early. When we were there some sunbeds were empty all day.

This is not a hotel to go to if you want lots of entertainment. What there is is very low key and suits us. Kieran who is probably the best singer we have seen at PLR does a few sessions in the pool bar at 4.00 and then there is usually some music around the pool bar in the evening. Biddy the events manager kept us entertained on gala night, Again she had a good voice.

Most of the bar and restaurant staff remembered us from previous visits and you only had to order a drink once and they would remember.

The hotel is spotlessly clean and all the staff work hard to make your stay memorable. There were a few power cuts whilst we were there but it only took moments for the hotel generator to give us light, We also found a area where the aircon worked as well and they didn't last long so didn't interfere with our enjoyment of the evening.

There is an impressive amount of management oversight. Mr Fouquet misses nothing. He even noticed my husband was feeling unwell one day (nothing to do with the holiday) and made sure that there was nothing he needed.

We are booked again for September.

picked this hotel based on the good reviews on trip advisor and the reviews lived up to expectations. We wanted a lazy holiday with plenty of sun after 5 years of poor English summers From walking into this hotel we were made to feel welcome and important. Met by the manager and his senior staff, Thomsons staff, given a cold towel, drink and a warm welcome. Our room was on the first floor with a partial sea view. The room had a super king bed which was very comfortable, fully carpeted, settee, flat screen TV and dressing table area. The bathroom was large with bath large shower mirrored sink area and toilet and bidet. There was a separate walk in wardrobe with wall safe. The room was kept extremely clean throughout the holiday. Pool area. lots of sunbeds and staff bringing drinks even cleaning your sunglasses if you want. Loved the salt water pool. Restaurant. gents must wear trousers at evening meal Thomsons did not state this and we only found out by reading reviews. Massive choice of high quality food. loved the breads. veggie choice if you want. seating is well spaced so it makes it feel like you are out for a meal in a nice restaurant. used the Chinese and Italian restaurants and had one of the best pasta dishes i have had. ambiance and staff throughout the hotel were extremely friendly . Night time entertainment was Thomsons staff Biddy and Kieron who put themselves out every time to entertain. night time for us was a lovely meal couples of glasses of wine walk to the pool area have a few more drinks and chill out to Biddy and Kieron. This was perfect for us as it was what we were looking for. Leaving day which is usually a waste of a day was the best i have had. we had a walk along the beach a few drinks changed and left our room by 12.00 and sat in the comfortable lobby. the manager spoke to everyone who was leaving and genuinely was interested that guests had enjoyed their stay.had lunch. Thomsons staff put on light live music to keep everyone entertained as we waited for the bus to take us the airport. all things considered this was a great stay at a very high quality hotel with friendly staff who have a goal of ensuring guests have a great time. In our opinion mission accomplished. down sides. this hotel is in the middle of an undeveloped area with little outside the hotel and the entertainment is limited. if you want what we wanted from a holiday it will suit you if you want lots to do and a lively nightlife go elsewhere.

Room Tip: all rooms good north or main hotel rooms have slightly better view/sun

We went on holidays in Egypt for the 2nd time. My brother was in Premier Le Reve for the first time last year and he said how great this hotel was. At first i didn't believe him, but then i started to think that it would be great if we would go to this hotel. I saw some pictures of this hotel and i thought that pictures lie, but we despite reserved our holidays in Premier Le Reve. Once we got into the hotel i thought it was a dream. It was so peacefull that i really thought that i was dreaming. Everybody was very nice and friendly. The service was top class. It is really hard to describe the hotel, which is I think the best in whole Egypt. I travel a lot, but i haven't seen a hotel, that is that good like Premier Le Reve. In one word AMAZING. The food tastes absolutely awesome and it is delicious. The hotel is really worth of every euro you pay for this. The beach is absolutely beautiful and clean, you have room as much as you like. The rooms are so big that you can get lost in it. PREMIER LE REVE - IN ONE WORD AMAZING!

We have just returned from a 1 week holiday to le reve.
Can only echo the other reviews and cannot fault the hotel or its staff, the standard room was of a high standard, clean and spacious, the towel displays added the extra touch, especially when they were personalised.
The food choice was excellent bar one day when deserts were minimal, a LA carte restaurants were a great bonus, especially Bella. Food and service was exceptional.
Pool bar staff were friendly and efficient, could do more, even dropped drinks and bottles of water off when we were in the pool. Sunglasses were cleaned daily, and fruit bowls and old flannels were a great touch.
Ahmed in the restaurant deserves a special mention, very friendly and helpful service went beyond the others. Hope he has enjoyed his holiday!!
Spa treatments were good value for money and again staff were very friendly
Excursion booked through ramy the Thomson rep was brilliant, the ultimate desert experience, well worth the money and we had an amazing time quad biking into the desert and riding camels, got some awesome holiday photos as well.
Management team very visible and friendly and approachable, made us feel valued.
Would definitely visit this hotel again and looking for both march and as our honeymoon destination.
Only negative was hurgada airport but that's not the hotels issue.
Could not recommend more

Room Tip: Standard room more than meet expectations.

This was our second trip to this hotel and , God willing, it will not be our last.
The hotel has everything that you could want, good food, excellent service, very clean and the staff are all so helpful and friendly.
If you are looking for a holiday full of nightlife and very lively then this is NOT the hotel for you but if you want somewhere that you can just chill out and be totally spoilt then look no further.
I am a fussy eater and I never had a problem finding something delicious to eat, the food is always well presented and the Gala night is amazing all the chefs work so hard to make it the spectacular night that it is.
Please be advised that Gentlemen HAVE to wear long trouser to all the restaurant's in the evening and quite rightly so, lets face it, it is not often that most of us get the chance to dress up for dinner so it makes a nice change.
All the guys round the pool deserve a medal they can't do enough for you, from cleaning your glasses to delivering fresh fruit salad and an ice cold towel at the hottest time of day.
It was our Wedding Anniversary while we were there and they came over and sang to us, it was something I will remember for a very long time. A special mention goes out Carlos our wonderful pool Waiter, he works so very hard and must walk miles everyday but always had time for a chat and a laugh. His nick name for me was "LANCASHIRE" not that I am from there but it has a special significance for him. I have to say all the staff are to be commended from the Cleaners to the Managers its because of all there attention to detail and to the guests that this hotel as the reputation that has.
The hotel is quite remote but they do run a shuttle bus, daily, to Hurghada so if you want to get out and about you can. Thomson Holidays also run varies excursion, as you would expect, so it is up to you how little or how much you want to do while on holiday. I would also like to thank "Biddy" the Thomson entertainment rep, she also worked very hard and kept us all entertained along with Kieran, it has to be said they are both very good singers. Thanks to you both.
The Spa is also worth a visit, I had 3 massages while I was there and they were very good, I would say though you must negotiate the rate don't except the first offer it will come down if you are genuinely interested.
I was told by other guests during our stay that they had been to other hotels in Egypt and around the world and had ended up paying extra for the services that "The Reve" offer for free.
Thank you all so very much for making our Holiday so special and making us feel so special , hopefully, we will see you all again soon.

Room Tip: I would advise upgrading to the "Deluxe" rooms, they over look the pool with a side sea view. Also as part of this package you get 1 free laundry bag per week, you just fill the sheet supplied , call reception and someone will come to your room and collect it. Your laundry will then be delivered back to you later that day or the next day all washed pressed and on hangers in some cases, see they even make it easier for you to return home and not have to face a mountain of washing.
