“Luxury Winter Sun Retreat”

After snow, cold winds and short, grey days, we were ready for a relaxing and warm refuge. I honestly had low expectations of an "Egyptian All-Inclusive" and was astonished be the high quality and standards.
Hotel facilities were excellent. The food and service fantastic. The friendly and helpful staff worked tirelessly to ensure our comfort.
There is little to do in the area but we could walk (pretty much alone) for miles along a beachfront path. Private access to the house-coral reef was excellent. The hotel did run a free shuttle into town although we did not use this.
We can,t wait to come back!

Well, where to start? For a winter break from the cold of England there was no better place.

Service was first class Al Amir, Hany and Mohammed at the pool side bar were excellent hosts.
They showed amazing control whilst dealing with some extremely rude Eastern Europeans.

Mr Fouquet Zakaria was present daily to ensure all was well and that the guest were looked after. Standards at the hotel are high.

Snorkelling was great when the wind and tide allowed.

If you want a place to put your feet up for a week and relax to re-charge your batteries this is a perfect place to do this.

All the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome a huge thank you from us both.
A place we will go back to.

We have just returned from 4 nights at Premier Le Reve after visiting here on our minimoon. We were due to visit Rome straight after our wedding on 9th February but after fracturing my tibia 4 weeks before hand I am still on crutches and not able to walk far. So as a last minute booking we decided to go to Egypt for a bit of sun and some chillout time.

We booked our stay with Expedia after a bit of research as we weren't able to book for 4 nights through Thomson. We soon found out after arriving at the hotel that very few people booked outside of Thomson and booking through Expedia was almost unheard of by the staff at the hotel.

We were able to arrange a free transfer with the hotel from the airport, because we didn't book the holiday as a package we simply emailed the hotel who took our flight details and arranged for collection at the airport. On arrival at the hotel the staff we immediately on hand to help us with our bags and take us to the executive lounge to begin check in.

Due to my fractured tibia, I am in a knee brace (non weight bearing) and crutches, we had forewarned the hotel that I would need a room close to amenities. Whilst my husband sorted out details at checkin he highlighted that not only was I in a knee brace and on crutches he also explained that we had also just got married. After laying it on quite thick we were given a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe room.

From when we first arrived at the hotel to leaving for the airport on our last day the hotel bent over backwards to ensure that I had a comfortable stay and if I needed anything at all then I should let them know. The staff throughout the hotel were extremely courteous, in particular the pool bar staff who kept an eye on me whilst my husband went off for a wonder to explore the rest of the hotel. The operations manager also came and spoke to us everyday to make sure that we had everything we needed, which was a nice touch.

For an all inclusive hotel we were really impressed with the quality of food, the buffet had a great selection of food. We also visited the Chinese and italian a la carte restaurants. Not sure I'd consider the food a la carte but the setting was nice and the food was slightly better than the food at the buffet.

All in all a great stay in a lovely hotel with extremely helpful and friendly staff.

Went for a week 8th to 15th feb. been to Hurghada six times now, this is by far the best hotel we have stayed in.And that includes the Marriott.A real proffesional staff from the managers down to the cleaners.from the time we entered the hotel the staff could not do enough.the rooms and grounds were spotless, and the food was excellent.if there was something to moan about I would but this hotel was superb, well done to mr Zachary and his staff. Will deffo be booking this hotel again.
However I will have a moan not about the hotel but as others have said the thompson. Flights,obviously they try to pack you in like sardines, to make room for a couple of more rows of seats.with five and six hr flights, it's a nightmare.

We have just returned from a one week holiday. Our first visit to Egypt seeking some winter sun. We had studied T.A and basically booked this hotel because of the fabulous reviews. The hotel met every expectation. As long as you are prepared to suffer the appalling leg room and overheated cabin of the Thompson flight and the shock to your system when you have to fight your way through the throngs of people after your money for your entry visa at Hurghada Airport you will not be disappointed. The hotel is a credit to its manager. The staff were wonderful, always polite, always helpful and nothing seemed to be to much trouble. We can't praise them highly enough.
The facilities are smashing and the food is wonderful.
One word of warning about the location of this hotel, don't go if you expect a stunning location. The view of unfinished hotels along the beach may spoil it for some but if you ignore this and just concentrate on the beautifully tended gardens and excellent pool area of the hotel you will be well rewarded with a great holiday. We are already planning are next trip!

Other reviews have pretty much said it all; the standards of service, hygiene and rooms are all excellent and can't be over stated. Plenty of guests are regular visitors and that is testament to the level of quality on offer. If you have any issues, just bring it up with the manager, he is very visible and accessible and the chances are he'll find you before you find him! He will do all he can to set things right.

Things to note, which are not criticisms of the hotel as such but should be mentioned:

An upgrade to a deluxe room would be money well spent, as the only alternative to the pool and sea views that these rooms afford is that of unfinished neighbouring hotels, as the resort is rather undeveloped at the moment. The added bonus of access to the Executive Lounge is also a big plus.

Premium drinks are not offered as part of the normal all inclusive package and the local spirits are of variable quality, but you should be able to find a suitable tipple - if in doubt, add a mixer!

The Long Bar could do with a bit if a rethink in terms of decor and layout, but this is a minor quibble.

Aside from the trips that Thomson and the hotel lay on, as well as the spa treatments, the wider resort is a bit sparse and building sites litter the coast, as an initial spurt of development has seemed to have stalled, so activities could be seen as limited, but if you are visiting for pure relaxation, this will not be an issue.

Other reviews have warned and I will repeat, the Thomson flights are not the best. We didn't experience some of the horror stories mentioned by others, but at best the flights are cramped, are staffed poorly and have no entertainment. If you can deal with this however, you will be rewarded with an excellent stay.

The hotel is really nice, staff are attentive and very polite, the management walk around the hotel grounds and make sure guests are having a good time. The buffet had an extensive choice of tasty dishes, and we were impressed with the other restaurants, especially the Italian. The atmosphere is very relaxing, they play relaxing music by the pools and have an entertainment team. Unfortunately, both me and my boyfriend got and upset tummy, which spolied our holidays, but it couldn't have been the hotel's fault - they constantly provide you with supplies of bottled water, and there are hand sanitisers around the hotel. The only thing really that we thought could be improved on is the attitude of the 'doctor' at the hotel's pharmacy. The last thing we wanted was to be suffering from upset tummy on our holiday, and the so-called 'doctor' tried to sell us some pills for the cost of £35 per person, which was a complete rip-off! In our opinion, that incident shouldn't have happened in a such an amazing hotel where guest service is of very high standards. I would just make sure that if you are prone to uspet tummy that you take supplies of medicine from home! All in all, it's a lovely hotel with everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
