You've seen the rest of the reviews so now see this. What a fantastic experience. Buffet restaurant was really nice but when I looked for the normal everyday British breakfast apart from eggs of different sorts there obviously was no bacon as we Brits know there obviously wasn't any. There were chicken sausages. Breakfast cereals were available but cake corner?
Cleanliness was amazing everywhere. Everything has a place and everything in its place that seems to be the motto there.
Bedroom cleaning was fantastic as was the bed art of towels.
With four themed restaurants which we were able to use quite frequently because of the quietness of the hotel at this time but in busier times I understand you a restricted to your visits.
Room and pool towels are all supplied as one would expect. There are hair dryers available in the room. All toiletries are supplied.
Swimming pools and there are many of them. They range from heated to bath temperature for the little ones to some that are at least body temperature or thereabouts to unheated ones. There are so many.
I would recommend this hotel for anyone with or without children. We stayed within the confines of the hotel as we had done most of the trips before but there are a few trips at an extra price.
Wonderful staff throughout and the gardens are immaculate.
Would I go again? Yes I would. I was there 3rd February 2014 temperature then was about 26/27c, lovely.

Hard to add more to what others have said but this Hotel fully deserves it's many good reviews. Attention to detail and charming staff with well organised management make for a great stay. Ignore the few niggles and couple of bad reviews here and there...this many people giving good reviews can't be wrong!

This was our third holiday in Egypt, the first was at the Rosetta in Naam Bay three years ago, the complex was great. The second was a cruise on the Red Sea last year, the time spent onboard was first class, but the visit to the pyramids was totally spoilt by the street vendors who not only did not understand the word NO, but were parasytic and intent on robbing us.
This year we wanted two lazy weeks in the sun, I was reluctant to opt for Egypt again but we found the Jaz in Hurghada and the reviews were encouraging. We arrived friday the 7th February around 5pm was shown to room 3074, our initial impressions were pleasing.
The first full day we were able to take in all the complex, and it is awesome, spotlessly clean, 18 pools which were varied in size. Many of the pools were small and safe for little ones. The larger ones were very impressive with islands in the middle out of which grew palm trees.
The only disappointment was the fact that not all the pools were heated, due to the amount of holiday makers there, I,ve no doubt that at the height of the season the will all be heated.
It made a nice change to be able to choose a place to sun bathe with numerous sun beds available at all times.
The Spa offers a great value full body massage, pedicure, haircut. We also enjoyed the sauna, the steam room, and the jacuzzi.
The food is good and plentiful, the local beer is drinkable, however the Asian restaurant serves Sakara which is an excellent premium lager.
I dont think the Egyptians have got the art of winemaking just right yet.
I f you choose to buy an english newspaper from the vendor who walks around the pools and beach, dont be tricked into parting with £3 .50 for a daily mirror, he will tell you that that is the price printed on the back of the paper. You will see that the egyptian price has been inked out, the actual price is 12 egpytian pounds, which is £1.20. The following day he will ask for the paper back and then sell it to someone else.
Overall impression is a fantastic resort, we will definately be returning.

Last year we went here too and then it was owned by Iberotel. Jaz has made subtle but significant improvements. The spa and other amenities are now part of the group which is great. The new slides are a blast. Read my previous review of Iberotel Aquamarine Resort and then apply serious improvements too it and there u have it.

The hotel is really a first class resort. Our family enjoyed 18 different pools, most of them heated in February as it is winter in Egypt in this time of the year, several water slides, very friendly and professional staff doing their best to satisfy every guests wish. The resort is huge and there is no way you can be bored while staying here. There is a gym with an instructor giving you advice how to get the most out of your training. Within the resort area there is also a jogging track for guests who prefers this rather than the treadmill but also other sporting activities like tennis, snorkling or windsurfing. There is a spa offering different massages and facial treatments and also a beauty salon. They have several restaurants (main restaurant for the all inclusive guests, italian, lebanese, fish and asian which you pay 8€/person for) serving really good food. The hotel is very clean and very well looked after and we will defintely come back to this hotel in the future.

Went for 2 weeks in this hotel and was not disappointed. We have previously stayed in various hotels in sharm and hurghada and would rate this the best. Huge complex, loads of restaurants, bars, pools, plenty to choose from. Pools all warm, staff friendly and polite. Rooms very nice and clean, all public areas clean. Would definitely return.

We took the advice about purchasing visas from the bank desks when we arrived and paid £10 each. Very speedy and better than queuing up with all the other people from the flight.

The hotel itself is quite large but because it was less than a third full it felt very comfortable and there was never a problem in finding sunbeds in a quiet spot. Bar service was very good. Even if we went to the pool bar for drinks the staff insisted on delivering them to us. It started to get busier towards the end of the week and I can imagine that it would not be as comfortable if it was up to capacity (c.4000 guests).

I emailed ahead about rooms as we wanted 2 rooms on the top floor and next to each other. I had a speedy response from Mr Hassan and we got exactly what I asked for with views over the main pool and the sea. Definitely worth doing if you have a particular request.

The hotel was kept beautifully clean throughout. Our room was looked after very well and, having had a couple of bites on the first night, I asked for the room to be sprayed which was done and they even left the spray for me which I only used once to kill a fly in the bathroom.

We visited all 4 a la carte restaurants and, with the exception of the Italian, thought the food was excellent. Our experience in the Italian was a bit disappointing as the ravioli was almost inedible and the risotto was dry. We were challenged over the feedback we gave on the standard form at the end of the meal and felt that this was inappropriate. The selection of food in the buffet restaurant was good, and we particularly enjoyed the fish and chips in the snack restaurant nearest the beach.

The main bar is rather noisy in the evening - fine if you like loud music but not so good if you just want to relax and have a chat. We discovered Waves bar and spent most of our evenings there instead. The selection of drinks is reasonable - certainly better than at the Sensatori in Sharm. Wine is drinkable - we particularly liked the rose.

Service throughout was very good. The people trying to sell the spa packages were a little irritating to begin with but once you have said No they don't bother you again.

I would definitely recommend the hotel at this time of year when it is not full.
